This is a business where, even when you call technical support-- although it can be challenging to understand what they are saying and clearly you can tell they speak another language -- they can at least communicate with you. Granted, the tech that came was late, but appeared cordial -- came with all his equipment, probably is a decent person and a hard worker, but you're not delivering me an Uber eats drop off meal or just delivering something to me. I need to discuss with you my issues, not have you call customer service to be a Google translator! Customer service got upset with me for questioning why on earth would they automatically assume that this was one of their better ideas! How would I be able to explain to him the issues I had? And please don't try to call to find out what's going on. You'll be met with an automated robot or waiting on hold for a lifetime. It got to the point where I was asking to please transfer me so that I can discontinue my service! First of all, not only are you providing high prices with substandard equipment, you want to convince your customers that actions such as this are OK and should be tolerated. He's passionate about giving people a fair price, and will explain to you exactly why it costs what it costs. He clearly puts his heart into this. While he specializes in Apple and Samsung, he was able to go out of his way to fix some Google Pixels for me and my dad, though he had to special-order some parts. Of course, I'm the one who has to pay. I was very relieved that there is a T mobile store in Getty square since I was isolated from personal business. The impression I got when I walked into the store was cold and disinterested since I was the only woman who is an older person in the store. I was the only woman in the store period! The agent who was busy with the male techo freaks was told to take care of me by a female supervisor. He was in a hurry to get rid of me as soon as possible to get back to his men. I told him I needed an easy flip top phone since I loathe the digital world but must be able to communicate so I'm forced to have a cellphone. The agent was pleasant but did not go over plans, I just needed an inexpensive and simple phone. I had to take prepaid because I froze my credit reports which has been taken care of however I have to return to their store today so they can check my line of credit and get off prepaid. The agent gave me his card "If I have any questions" so I called a few days ago and was spoken to very tersely by the female supervisor who announced everything I need to bring with me to get a regular plan. So far, this has been a mean experience and I dread going back there today. I anticipate trouble and aggravation and a need on their part to just get rid of me. The phone has a weird message system and I'm sure they will be hostile if they have to take the time to explain it. I hope Edwin isn't in a hurry today. Also, for some reason the acoustics in the store prevents me from hearing well which makes matters worse.
