While the employees were kind, they absolutely created more issues with our bill than they fixed. Recommend finding a different store! 1. The manager identified we were on an old plan and switched us to a newer version and saved us money - GREAT 2. The were completely dishonest with how much purchasing an iPad and adding it to the monthly bill would cost - BAD 3. When we went back to the store to work out the iPad issue, and new additions to the bill, they were kind and said they would take care of problem. - GREAT 4. What actually happened was they couldn't fix the issue after all and refused to assist. We had to manage the issue on our own - BAD 5. The sold us on switching to AT&T home internet, offered free installation and a month free to try it out - GREAT 6. The installers REFUSED to install the service at our home due to either laziness or incompetence - BAD 7. We called the extremely nice manager who apologized and assured us she would cancel the service on our account and make sure we weren't charged the monthly service fee - GREAT 8. We ended up getting charged anyway. When we called her back to tell her we were still getting charged (WAY more than she said it would cost), she said "couldn't fix the issue" and told us we had to call AT&T to fix it ourselves - BAD read more

These comments are not directed to the AT&T store on Forum Drive, it is directed to the AT&T who oversee services for the Columbia or Blythewood, SC areas. I am a Disable Veteran with mobility issues. I have been receiving poor customer services since December 15, 2025. On that particular day my neighbor was having AT&T lay lines for services on their property. Negligently, the AT&T employee came riding through my property on some sort of riding equipment. He caused severe damage to my lawn. As a result, when it rains large puddles form. When l go out if it's wet to empty my trash, recycling, etc. l slip and slide all over the place. After completing the work at my neighbors the employee left. There was no apologies and no explanation about the severe damage he caused to my property. Unfortunately, I had to find out from my ADT Service telling me someone was on my property and recorded the damage that was done. Immediately I tried to contact AT&T. They were extremely hard to contact. For six to seven months they gave me the runaround. I was transferred from department to department, person to person, and A.I. to A.I. I received responses like this was the wrong department, you need a work order number, you need to contact the contractor covering this incident, and l need to talk with the A.I. for further information, the list went on and on. I do not understand why it is so easy to reach AT&T when new services are being established, but when you want to file a complaint there are no direct phone numbers or customer service reps to provide assistance. At this point l am terribly disappointed, frustrated, and simply cannot believe that l have been dealing with this for so long. I did start to get some calls that stated someone would be assisting me and that the repairs would be done. I also received calls saying AT&T really does want to complete the repairs, but the hold up was with getting quotes and waiting on contractors to get back to them. Nevertheless, behind all those comments the repairs were never completed. This month, being June of 2026, l finally had enough. I called AT&T until l reached a live person. l explained my situation and let them know if the repairs are not completed l am lodging a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Two days later AT&T employees showed up. The repairs were done, but not correctly. I was unable to stay outside the whole time watching the repairs. Having mobility issues made this extremely difficult. When l did come back outside to review the repair progress. l saw a AT&T employee sitting on a stool working with cable on my neighbor's property. There was no water present. However, on my property the grass was soaking wet. Once again l began to slip and slide and when l took a step you could hear loud squishing sounds. I saw one employee rolling up one of my hoses and another employee with my second hoe in their hands. I also saw employees laying grass on top of grass in addition to seeing lots of muddy spaces. At this time l did not see dirt being laid down prior to laying down grass. l did asked will those large spaces be covered up. The employee said yes. I ended up contacting two companies on two different days to assess the work AT&T had done. They both said the same thing, on two different days.The repairs had not been done correctly. They identified the grass on grass installments on the majority of my lawn. They were supposed to remove the old grass, pack in the orange mud dirt, and then lay new grass on top of the dirt. I called AT&T once again to ask for them to come back to correctly conduct the repairs. He said no we did the work and we're not coming back. I stated l needed it to be done correctly. This is when he had the audacity to say to me l had water problems long before that AT&T employee caused those damages. He also stated the water for that day came from my neighbor's property. I had to remind him that there was an employee sitting on a stool working on the cable on my neighbors property. He was not sitting in water neither was the stool or cables wet. It was more than obvious the water came from the employees using my hoes. I am currently waiting for a third company to assess their work. This will give me three assessments on whether the repairs AT&T provided was done correctly. Afterwards, l will then escalate this higher up the AT&T Chain. I am seeking the proper customer service and needed repairs in a timely manner. This should have been provided the first time. I would like to see these AT&T employees provide good customer service, be held accountable for their actions, be held to at least a business standard, and complete their work correctly while working with people within the community. read more

I mean it was better than the last time I went in where no one even acknowledged my presence. However it wasn't much better. I wasn't totally ignored last time but it seems like the people there are selective as to who they are courteous towards. The one redeeming aspect of the entire experience was one of the employees getting me some water when I was borderline getting heatstroke. Some seem to get respect whereas others are deemed not worthy. It's the younger people who mostly behave this way. However, I try to be fair. Everyone deserves way second chance and that was it I'm not coming back to this store. Sorry not sorry. read more

Too many problems to discuss in this forum. Stay away!!!!!! They, The employees, aren't very good or nice or knowledgeable. I've used one employee since having to purchase an iPhone 15 pro max. All was well until it was not. Only Ron Johnson can settle ANYTHING, and fast. read more

They are good selling the phone but then they don't help setting up the phone. The man is elderly. How hard can it be? Terrible service.

I was told to go to this location by customer service to resolve an issue with how my internet service was arranged I told the first individual that they can't do anything there about it They said that I should get into contact customer service I explained the circumstances and what I was requestingShe said that they didn't have the deal I was trying to receive she said it was either or not both I pulled up the message on my phone to prove it was for both She said let me get you a manager to see what can be done I wait for him to become available He also said the same This or this not both I also showed him the one I had He said that the rep should have put any offers into the system and it can take 2-3 weeks to show up He asked if the service was in my name I said yes I handle this account for our house He asked me to provide my ID to check the system He looks It up and asks me again are you sure it's in your name and not your husband's I said yes I explained I was on the phone with the rep and my husband while he was there I asked my husband which store he went to it was that location but the manager questioned me again asking if it was this store I even told him what day he came in on He said he couldn't find anything in the system and asked if I had the persons name I said it was a female that's all because I was traveling back home I said that I provided my information over the phone with all of us While this was going on his whole attitude and demeanor towards me from the get go was negative energy I was feeding off of it I only respond to people the way they respond to me but he sure wasn't going to admit that So through my frustration he said he didn't like how I was talking to him and basically needed the conversation and told me to leave the store I told him he was the one speaking to me So instead of the first rep looking into the system with my ID to say well it looks like the rep made an error and put it in your husbands name and let me be on my way that could've been resolved The same goes for him he saw it once he checked the address I asked for his name he said Lonnie Graham but failed to give me his employee ID# If you're in the Northeast ish of Columbia avoid this location and go to the one near Kroger at Killian Crossing They treat their customers much nicer read more

I needed to upgrade my phone and switch to a different service. I made an appointment on line prior to showing up. No sign in sheet or greeter at the door when you walk in. There were only two workers working on a Saturday afternoon. I went to look at the iPhones. The display was horrible. Only two iPhones (one where the screen did not work) and a third iPhone display was missing. I called Verizon and asked if I needed to make an appointment to upgrade and move service from AT&T--they so no come on over. I went to Verizon where they had a greeter at the door and I was helped within 3 minutes or arriving. You get better customer service with Verizon. read more

I went into the store and sat for 80 minutes. I wasn't pleased at the time but they were busy and I can understand it's the holiday season. We got help from Ronnie Scott and he was worth the wait. He not only got us our new phones but got us a better plan for less than what we were paying. Overall they deserve the 5 stars because they are very helpful once you get your turn. read more

The worst customer service ever. They don't even deserve one star. I'm so disappointed. Staff are not smiling, they are not making the customers feel welcomed. We have been waiting for an hour and the said we can't pull anything from here, you have to call!!!! I spent hours yesterday on phone and they asked me to go to the nearest store. They keep saying "there's nothing we can do here". I'm not sure why they are open exactly. read more

Walk-ins NOT welcome! Employees act like they're bothered by your business. I was signed in, but it would have been nice to have been told an approximate wait time. After about 25 minutes, I very politely said I would return. I was told to "make an appointment" in not so friendly terms. I can honestly say this has been my worst experience with at&t. I have been sitting/standing in this at&t store for about 40min. It took about 15 minutes to be acknowledged and that was by a gentleman flagging down an associate to ask for a sign in. Thankfully, the gentleman let the associate know I came in first. We both let the associate know there was a customer that came in before us. A male associate went ahead and then started taking down names. By that time I was fine with waiting until I saw the same guy that took down the names skipped the order of the list completely and started helping the last customers that came in. I don't know, maybe they made an appointment earlier. But nobody was acknowledged otherwise. What made it worse is his comment to his coworker. He told his coworker his back was turned away from everybody to avoid the cold stares and they both went on to talk about how everybody leaves at 4:30 etc... which is fine I guess but it was like 3:40pm. No employee was smiling and from that you could tell they didn't really want to be there. Once I got waited on I was grateful but he still never even smiled and was nonchalant. We even found out we graduated from the same high school and still the same dry awkward customer service. I'm completely thankful my problem got resolved/fixed. It's just sad that nobody was welcoming or seemed to want to be there. Customer service was non existent. Which is something I've been experiencing since being in Columbia for the last 4-5 months. I've been an AT&T customer for years and have never experienced poor customer service like I did in this store. When I walk in all the representatives are busy and I'm fine with that. There were two people (I'm assuming they're management) that told me someone would help me when they finish. I was walking around looking at merchandise for almost ten minutes when a representative came up and asked had I been signed in. I said no and he signed me in and said someone would help me when they're done with their customer. My question is why didn't management tell me I needed to sign in rather then just sit at the table having their own conversation not giving a damn about me? My intention was to purchase an IPad. The icing on the cake is when all the representatives were done, some gathered around a table talking and the others were near the entrance doors talking. No one called my name or asked what my purpose was coming to the store. I did end up buying a clckr grip and stand for my phone. In the future if I decide to buy anything from the AT&T store I will go to the store in Harbison where they tend to all the customers. read more
