As luck would have it I was at a Yelp event when I noticed that my phone didn't work. Well part of…read moreit worked anyway. I had internet and email access however the most important part of my phone didn't work. I couldn't make or receive any phone calls. I did the usual shut my phone off and turn it back on, still no go. Well at least I was able to use my phone for the event. So on my way home I decided to stop at our local Wireless World. I purchased my phone from the same store a few years back when they were Verizon. I was hoping that they could fix my phone. I was lucky that when I arrived there was only one other person in the store at that time. Nolan was kind enough to help me out. He explained that he could do a factory reset to see if that would work. If that didn't work, well it didn't look good. Factory reset completed and no change. Option A-pay send my phone if for repairs. Option B-get a new phone. While otherwise my phone was in really good shape, I need to be able to make phone calls. It was already an older phone and some of the apps were not compatible. So instead of putting money into a short term fix, I decided to invest in a new phone. Normally I would want to get the most current option so it would hopefully last the longest. On the advise of Nolan, he recommended that I save some money and not get the latest phone but a model that was a little older and what a felt was a better phone. While he transferred my pictures and information to my new phone I picked out my new case. Before I knew it I had spent a ton of money and had a phone that works. We've come a long ways from the old rotary phones. Those of you who remember those phones, it wasn't really that long ago. Anyhow I appreciate the service and help from Nolan and we'll sure to be back once my wife needs an upgrade.

I had dropped my Iphone and part of the corner popped out of the case, so knew I needed to get my smartphone fixed. I checked out some Yelp reviews and decided it was worth stopping by. First, Snelling Avenue was undergoing major construction when I drove there, but it was easy to get to and has its own parking lot, which is super convenient. It was empty when I went in, and I was promptly attended to. The store manager, Demetrius W, helped me. He went over the minimum labor fee of $26, and they literally fixed it within 5 minutes. I barely had to wait - had great customer service, and found the price to be reasonable from other estimates that I got online. Overall, very happy with my relatively easy Iphone fix!

When I dropped off my phone it was functioning and charging completely fine. Picked it up the next day and it wouldn't charge and was stuck in a restart cycle. Demanded to know what happened to it and after running some tests they finally admitted they had fucked the motherboard. Okay price for fixing screen but be prepared to have to buy an entirely new iPhone and if they destroy your cracked one they only refund cost of screen not $25 labor cost, which is ridiculous because all they did was destroy my phone.

The charger worked a TINY bit (like sometimes, if I had it positioned just right it would charge at the rate of about 10% per hour, but also just would stop charging randomly when it hadn't been touched. I called to see about the return policy which is apparently exchange only. They say this was posted but I certainly wasn't too that and there are so many posters and signs all over it doesn't surprise me that I missed it. When I called to find out what my options were the guy just kept telling me to come in and if it was damaged they would give me a new one, I said I wasn't sure I wanted to go through the bother of coming back (it's not that near me) in order to get another one that would probably be faulty too. He hung up on me. I do realize that they likely get scammed by people trying to return things and cheat them somehow, but I was very disappointed at every step of the experience. Just burn your cash in a bin, or go somewhere else and good luck!

I was hesitant but thought since it was in the ghetto, people probably take off without paying so I went ahead and paid with cash. After an hour of watching him struggle with my phone, he hands me my phone and I leave. I get in my car and nothing worked. I go back in and the tech acted surprised to see me. By this point, I was upset so I just told him to get it fixed and I went back to wait in my car. About 20 minutes later he came out to my car. I had my window down from smoking a cigarette and he hands me my phone and said, "it's fixed." I tell him to wait while I examine my phone and of course, nothing worked. I hand him the phone again and he went back inside. 30 minutes later he comes out and tells me he needs more time to fix my phone and asked me to return tomorrow afternoon. I said no, just give me my phone and I'll take it somewhere else. He pleaded with me and said his manager was on his way over to help him fix my phone and promised me that the phone would be fixed by 7:30 PM the latest. BIG MISTAKE! I arrived back at the shop at 7:25. As I entered the store i can see that the manager has another phone screen attached to my red iPhone. He tells me that the home button is broken and they are attempting to somehow install the digital home screen button on my phone. Confused and at a lost for words, I asked why are you doing that? Just fix it. The manager, a Nigerian dude proceeded to tell me he cannot fix the broken home button that I broke and I stopped him and told him, No. My phone was working just fine when I brought it in. I told him to put my phone back together and return my money. He got aggressive and said I was not getting a refund after all the time they spent on my phone. I laughted and told him he was crazy because I brought in a working phone and i am not leaving with a broken phone. He then got out from behind the service stand and tried to fight me. I didn't have any way to call for help so I went outside and stopped a lady walking by to call the police for me and the manager ran up and locked the doors. With all the ICE protesting happening, the police never showed up so I drove to the police station and filed a theft report. See you in court.
