    be very careful dealing with this store they owe me a phone and 400 ,they had 2 phones and the manager found it when the police came

    They fix and they break. You go in for one issue and come out with another. Trust me…read more Do not trust their shabby work. Look them up. They will create another issue. Cheap work. Saw all the great reviews on this place. What really hooked me in was this "100% satisfaction guaranteed" that they have on their site so I decided to go and check them out. Came in and he told me that it would be $130 to fix the screen. At first I didn't want to pay it but he assured me that I was in safe hands with his 90 day money back guarantee on the receipt. I was still unsure but I decided to pay it because I needed my phone for my business. Instantly I noticed the cheaper material that they use. The color was different and I was having trouble getting it to work properly. About a month and a half later my phone randomly shuts off while on a zoom call. -No physical damage -No water damage Just cheap material. It would not turn on. I come back to the store the following day and explain to him my situation and show him my receipt. At first he tells me that I must've damaged it or dropped it but I told him that it wasn't possible. I have a case and it's always on me. I would know if I dropped it. He then tells me that replacing the LCD is not apart of the money back guarantee policy and that if I wanted to fix my phone I would have to make another purchase of $130! Wow great job on creating relationships with your customers. I didn't pay it, left and just used my backup phone. Makes you think what their 100% satisfaction guarantee on their site really means... I would think twice about doing business with these fraudulent people.

    Receiving one star because I could not post otherwise…read more Went into the Downers Grove (2321 Ogden Ave Ste E, Downers Grove, IL 60515) store on a Saturday to show my Mother's death certificate and my Letters of Office legally authorizing me to act on her behalf. The Rep, Jenn, annotated the information in the system, but immediately informed me that I would have to call Customer Service to pay the bill, reconnect the phone, establish autopay with an Estate Acct and have the restoral fee & late fees deducted through billing. And there I left thinking, well what the heck do they do in the store all day!?! Nevertheless, that following Tuesday, I contacted AT&T Customer Service, which is horrendous to say the least. After being on hold for nearly 30mins, each rep informed me that they could not access the decedent's account without the passcode, then proceeded to tell me that I was not "an authorized user" on the account. Hence the reason I presented court papers! They kept pressing the issue of whether I knew my Mother's passcode on her acct...I was so extremely frustrated with the lack of knowledge and the finger pointing of the store rep (Jenn) even though I kept requesting a supervisor - I eventually asked them if they wanted me to go to the cemetery and exhume her body to acquire the passcode!!!!! They cannot be serious! I was in tears towards the end because I am already heavily grieving the loss my Mom and NOW this nonsense, as I attempt to take care of my Mom's business! If it had not been for the fact that I wanted the cell phone to remain active in case any creditors of friends of my Mom's called, then I would have terminated the services. They appear that they have no knowledge of dealing with the death of a customer. I was told to go back to the store for resolve. UNBELIEVABLE!!! After work, I drove for an hour in traffic to return back to the Downers Grove store and guess what, Jenn immediately allowed me to pay the bill. I found her action interesting because why did she not do that on Saturday and save me the traumatizing call to customer service. AT&T staff members think you have nothing better to do with your time but go back and forth to their stores and listen to them talk in circles because they lack AT&T knowledge to effectively communicate. The Rep, Jenn, assured me on two occasions that she would speak with her "manager", whomever that may be since she has never given me "his" name, and get back to me on the refunds that are due on my deceased mother's account. My attorney said late/restoral fees are to be waived when a death certificate has been presented to a company. Ask me if I have heard back from Jenn yet...OF COURSE NOT! Not sure how they retain customers, let alone deceased customers!

Mario at the 529 Roosevelt location would not listen and was condescending, but with Izzy and Madda (store manager) it showed us how true service should be. We stayed there 3 hours and they helped solve complications and develop a plan for us a family.

    I have never written a review in my life, but this place was horrible. My mom took my water-damaged…read morephone here to be fixed and they originally charged us $180, which is not the issue. Following this, we returned to this shop about 15 times in the span of like 2 months because it had non stop issues. When we came in the first time, we asked for my phone to be completely fixed, yet were forced to come back because first, the charging port wasn't working. They tried to charge us $75 for a cheap charging port but eventually just agreed on $15. Next thing you know, they had to put 4 different ports in my phone on 4 separate occasions because my mic didn't work and I couldn't charge my phone. EVERY NEW PORT they put in my phone was just worse than the one I came to fix. however, i was willing to accept it bc they just kept gaslighting me and i was tired of wasting my time coming back. However my phone, after like another week(so now currently) is barely usable and completely blacks out and won't even turn on. me and my mom asked for a refund, and instead of a refund they said they would give us a "brand new" iphone 11 which was actually a scratched up refurbished phone, so we said no. we asked for our $195 after all the wasted time, gas, and headache just for my phone to immediately break down after they "fixed it" Btw Hamzah, the guy whose the manager, he said to me "we always warn out customers with water damage that issues can come up no matter if we fix it" WHICH ME AND MOM WERE NEVER EVEN WARNED OF, LIKE WHAT? so your warning us after we paid and came here a million times? On top of that he's like "well that's why you shouldn't dunk your phone in water" first of all, it fell in water, second of all, it shouldn't matter to you if i found this phone washing up the shore of the atlantic ocean u told me you can fix water damage so do your job. they only gave us $115 back, because they said the parts in my phone make up the rest of the cost. its a huge scam because you're basically charging me for parts i would have never paid for if i knew my phone wouldn't even be fixed.

So, I have a unique perspective on the customer experience and what it takes for a business to provide consistent excellence in service. The Microcenter store in Westmont is beyond exceptional! The commitment showed by the staff to treat their guests well goes far beyond most typical retail locations. I visit often and feel so valued as a customer. Having been in the industry for so long, most in multi store management, I observe different aspects of the experience when I'm personally shopping stores. And at Micro Center Westmont, I observe a clean, well-organized store with friendly, helpful and knowledgeable team members who have a genuine interest in ensuring their guests are treated well. Far too many positive personal examples from my many visits to share, but the consistency is truly admirable. Now do they occasionally make a mistake or does something not go as planned? Of course! If it didn't they wouldn't be human beings as we all make mistakes, right? But I am so impressed with how hard the team works to correct those issues, big or small. The prices are fair, the price matching policy is very good and the return policies are exceptional. Micro Center is ALWAYS my first choice for tech and it's due mainly to the dedicated staff at the store who go above and beyond. If you've never been to a Micro Center, I'd highly suggest the Westmont location. Like me, you'll probably become a customer for life!

So I start looking around for someone to help me. 5 min passed and not one employee was available to help. Not one. So I decided I'll go find the splitters in the meantime, found one that I needed but other one was evading me. This time I go around the store looking for someone to help me out. Finally gave up and asked an employee to help me out after they finished with their current customer. The kid wasnt even looking in my direction just nodded his head. I had every single item i needed in my Amazon cart, but I still chose to drive here to give them my business. A few minutes of waiting, I just put back whatever I picked up and left. Ordered it on Amazon instead right there in the store. Employees here don't want to help, you can walk miles in that store before anyone will even bat an eye. I don't recommend this place at all. Far from what it used to be.
