Dropped off a PS5 because it was cutting off randomly. They had it for 3 days and couldn't recreate the issue....Needless to say, they still charged me a fee for what amounted to nothing. So, they returned it to me and the same day it cut off and never came back on.......I also had to make a second trip because they removed my stand and forgot to put it back on.....Weeks later, I simply purchased a new PS5 but keep the old one. Did some research and found that it might be experiencing a power supply issue. I ordered a new power supply and installed it........Fixed. This is a service they offer but when I mentioned it, they said it would cost additional money to be shipped out and had no timetable on when it would be completed. I fixed it in 30 minutes....The only positive, they were very polite...I just wish they were as knowledgeable as they were polite. read more

I've been here before and had a good experience when I dropped off my Google Pixel for repair. But after today, I'm seriously reconsidering ever coming back. I walked in to process a warranty claim through Asurion, and was met by an employee named Paul, who was clearly frustrated, unprofessional, and openly using profanity in front of customers. On top of that, he had no idea how to process the warranty claim and had to call Asurion for guidance. After wasting over an hour of my time, Paul encountered an error on the computer, abruptly told me he was off the clock, and just closed everything down -- then told me to deal with the other employees. Completely unacceptable behavior. Even worse, while I was still on the phone with Asurion, no other staff came out for a while. Eventually two employees came out and managed to finish the process -- but by then, the damage was done. This was a textbook example of poor customer service, a lack of professionalism, and completely unacceptable conduct by an employee. I don't typically write reviews like this, but the way this was handled -- especially the language used in public and the careless handoff mid-process -- was shocking. This needs to be addressed by management immediately. read more

We brought my daughter's laptop in as she was home from school. She needed it back in a week because she needed to return to school out of town. There were a few issues including needing a new battery. The customer service rep seemed focused on us buying a monthly whole house warranty plan. I declined. When I stated that we needed the laptop back in a week, he said he might be able to expedite the repair, if we purchased the whole home warranty plan, even then there were no guarantees. He gave us no acceptable choices and really didn't seem interested in helping. Since she was going back to school in a week, we had no option, but to go elsewhere. Not a great experience. read more

Unfortunately, when I arrived, the price I was given was 30% more expensive ($130) than the price I had seen on their website ($100). I had called around to other stores to compare, and they were all similar to the originally quoted price. I did not want to pay an extra 30% with no notification. I went elsewhere. That said, the young man I talked to in the store was very nice about it. It seems to be that there is some sort of miscommunication with corporate and the websites for franchises. This is a complete waste of time. I dropped off my lab top to have my screen repaired and payed for the diagnostic and the technician informed me that the screen will be repaired or replaced in two to three days. On day three I came here to pick up my laptop and the same technician informed me that he didn't start a diagnostic check after having it for 3 days. I asked for a refund because he literally just held on to it for three days and did not perform a diagnostic check. I was denied a refund and left feeling like I have been taken advantage of. I never heard of this happening to an iPad: one of my grandkids went to charge the iPad and the business end of a lightning charging cord broke off in the iPad charging port. I thought we were in big trouble (those weren't the words that went through my mind, but you get the idea). So, the folks at the Verizon store told me my Samsung A50 cellphone needed a new battery, and that I should try uBreakiFix up on LaGrange Rd. So I did. The guy running uBreakiFix said that (A) they didn't have any A50 batteries in stock -- DESPITE THEM BEING AN OFFICIAL SAMSUNG REPAIR SHOP !!, and (B) they would have to order the battery and it would take 5 to 7 days arrive. I later checked Amazon and they would deliver a new battery to my house in 24 hours !!!! What ?!?! I later found out, due to a trip to We Fix on Route 83, that I didn't need a battery at all (thanks, We Fix !) In other words, this shop didn't even bother to stock something as basic as a Samsung battery. And they didn't even run ANY diagnosis on my cellphone. Stay away from here. read more

Don't go here. Take your iPhone to an apple shop. These guys charge the same for replacements not covered by Apple and their parts are not compatible. Staff is nice and helpful, so this comment is about the practice itself. My phone rarely works properly- I have to reset constantly or put it to sleep and reopen. The screen they installed does not calibrate properly. They charged me $160 for a cracked screen. I should have gone to apple. I ended up here as most do with a broken iPhone screen.I made an appointment and showed up on time waited a pointless 20 minutes because why? I have no idea. A girl was working with another customer and never acknowledged me, grand whatever, the guy that finally came out the back looking like a zombie and legit dragging his feet. Maybe stoned? I have no idea. He helped me zero. He told me they don't have that screen, that's alright, aren't there other locations they're connected with that may have a screen? Maybe offer for me to go there? Or maybe offer any other solution. The guy just said "we don't have that" and stared at me blankly. I made an appointment that stated what type of phone I had and the screen I needed why didn't they contact me before to let me know? This place is amazing! We bombarded them with two computers (MacBook pro/MacBook pro air), two tablets(iPad/Samsung), and a phone (Samsung). They fixed the iPad on the spot, free of charge, it wouldn't charge due to a piece of the charger getting stuck inside the female port. Took literally 2 minutes. The MacBook pro air needed diagnostics and since we came in at the end of the day had to wait a couple days or so, which was fine as the laptop hadn't been working for some time by then. BACKSTORY:Previously, called apple support bc of a different issue with this (at the time brand new MacBook air) wouldn't start up, after downloading a new system update. Apple support made some excuse about things being encrypted (my elderly parents wouldn't know how to even do that in the first place) but ultimately fixed the issue. Again, can't start up the laptop, (few months or a year later) apple support said to bring into Apple, who said it was an issue with the logic board (Apple's term for motherboard), wanted some ridiculous amount of money for replacement, but wasn't a guarantee fix. Essentially convinced my elderly parents to purchase a new pro tablet instead, while also talking them into buying a ton of other accessories (including an expensive magnetic case that isn't functionality appropriate for their needs, ridiculous terabyte cloud storage etc.) They tried to take the computer on site so they could "appropriately recycle it", I told them over the phone to just hold onto it. Side note: this MacBook pro air, fit an apple recall they had later announced r/t malfunctioning air laptops, however since we initially called apple before the recall was announced therefore wasn't able to utilize the recall as the computer issue had apparently already been closed (r/t the encryption garbage excuse they gave) apple support, continued to say they would look into the issue but obviously never heard back. Taking a shot in the dark with ubreakifix, Turns out there wasn't anything wrong with the MacBook pro air, and was probably not working based on a faulty charger. I can't even describe how disappointed and frustrated I am with apple.. Samsung tablet and phone- both had issues with cracked screens. The S10 was still fully functional, the tablet was not showing anything on the screen, but still working if you HDMI connected it. They were honest about the price to replace the S10 phone, which was think over $500 , the tablet they couldn't order a replacement screen for bc of it's age and actually provided links for where I could buy the same tablet replacement if I wanted. All in all, they went above and beyond any kind of service expectations. They spent time answering what some people would consider silly tech questions without judgement. We ended up not paying anything, even after all they helped us with. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone who has any technology issues. It's hard to find a tech place that is honest, especially when it comes to those are a bit technologically inept. Super helpful, they went above and beyond! I took my partners phone here and they fixed it. Two days after the repair, the phone was accidentally dropped in a sink. The touch screen started acting funny later that day but because it was such a delayed reaction and the phone is water resistant we thought there may have been another issue and took it back to see if they could tell us the problem. After opening up the phone he called and said he saw water and offered to air brush the liquid out, which fixed the issue and he did it free of charge since I brought my business back! Fast forward to today. The same phone suddenly had very poor incoming volume. Verizon suggested, in an extremely condescending fashion, that a new phone was the only option. Really? Contrary to what the banner says on their page, uBreakiFix in LaGrange is not closed and provide and easy, contact free process to get repairs. I dropped off an iPad with a badly damaged screen and the next day received a call and was told that during the repair, they broke the home button which would require getting a new device. I never would have known if they had done it or if I had done it. They charged me $0 and replaced my iPad with a new one within days. That kind of honestly and integrity needs to be called out.
