Could not have had a worse experience at this store. They are dishonest, rude and inept. We switched over from T-Mobile and were told multiple times we had 30 days to try the service. We live in a rural area where service can be spotty, so I asked several times regarding the trial / return policy which was reconfirmed multiple times. After a few weeks it was clear that the service and coverage with AT&T was basically unusable. I won't go into detail but either no service or extremely slow data everywhere we use our phones. We returned the store to cancel service, return the phones and return to T-Mobile. The "manager" Chelsea informed us there was a 14 day return policy on the phones. I told her we were told we had 30 days to which she replied you have 30 days to opt out of the service and 30 days to turn in the trade in phones for the promotion, but only 14 days to return the iPhones. She literally refused to help us and made us leave the store to call corporate AT&T with $4800 worth of phones. I called corporate and spoke to a supervisor who listened to me regarding the situation and asked me to go back into the store to put Chelsea on the phone with them to her the store needed to make an exception as we were misinformed, at which point we were able to return the phones but we charged $220 for restocking fees. Please don't do business with these people. Terrible customer service, and cell service. Stick with T-Mobile or Verizon in Oregon (we've had both). And avoid this store at all cost. If I hadn't pushed back we would have been stuck with $4800 in phones out of pocket (you lose all promotions if you opt out of continuing service). read more

Went in twice today to trade in my old iPhone and get a upgrade and accessories and neither of the associates could help. They just told me that I wasn't authorized. I came back in a second time and had the website open where it was allowing me to order a new iPhone through AT&T and the Internet and they still said I couldn't do it so I went home and ordered it. No problem the people that work there are incompetent and absolutely do not know what they are doing, I can't believe that I can show them their own website where it says you can order this phone and they couldn't make it happen so I could pick it up in the store. Good thing is now I know just order online and they'll deliver it to me and I don't have to waste my time dealing with incompetent people. read more

Called before I came to buy an Apple iPhone SE. made sure they understood and had what I wanted. I stated multiple times that I was looking to purchase a RED 128 SE. they told me yes they had it in stock and would hold it for me. When I arrived, they tried to up sell me the 258! Doesn't matter which store you go to, the front "personnel" rotate from store to store. They sold me a phone which (silly me!) I assumed would allow me to be heard by the party I called. That hasn't happened yet. Here's the kicker: The rep peeled the little piece of plastic off the phone and told me it was blocking a microphone. I didn't believe her, and told her that I have had several phone that I left the sticker on with and they all worked fine, but I had other things to do, so . . . Of course it didn't work, and now they say I have to pay off the phone to upgrade. At every turn I was challenged in this way, "Did you drop it?" when they knew I'd had trouble from Day One. They said they added an update, turned on the Wi-Fi, etc. The product doesn't work, and the reps are trained to try to irritate you into getting irate with them so THEY can complain about you! When I mentioned what one rep told me, another one said "Well, I'm not Christopher, am I?" But I'm supposed to mind my manners? I worked as a CSR when CSRs weren't ROBOTS. Since they are a contract outfit, I'm stuck, but I'm considering if it's worth it to see if another company will take over my contract and let it blend in with their billing. I will NEVER trust a contract brand again, even if they are the oldest name in telecommunications. read more

I'm writing this on behalf of my boyfriend who was in this location on Sunday Dec 12, purchasing me an iPad for Christmas. Long story short my boyfriend asked the employee to send all emails regarding this purchase to his email (so that I didn't see them). Well that didn't happen because I received an email about this purchase and well, my big Christmas gift this year was spoiled due to lack of either common sense or just negligence on the employees part. My boyfriend, pissed. Me? I'm extra pissed because he was so excited to watch me open that on Christmas morning. And now, that's ruined. I hadn't had a bad thing to say about AT&T until now. This convienant little AT&T store is located on the corner of West 11th & Commerce St far out on the west side of Eugene. The most important detail about this location is that it's a corporately owned AT&T shop (#official!), meaning no shadey sales tactics that you'll find at those other reseller's shops. The staff here is incredibly polite and professional. You can really dig in and pick their brains about different devices and features. It's also very clean and well kept, which made me feel comfortable and relaxed. All in all, this location and the other big AT&T across from Valley River Center have always delivered superb customer service and expertise! read more

My girlfriend and I have been on an unlimited plan with AT&T since November 2021, and ever since then it's been AWFUL! They keep charging us extra for messaging and data, after we have called billing TWICE now. They have charged an extra $300 to our account which they obviously only credited which is frustrating giving life's circumstances. Non of the AT&T stores are helpful and will always tell you call billing department, because they don't care, especially in Eugene! Save your time and go to Verizon! Verizon gave me great service, it was just a little bit more compared to AT&Trash that's why we switched. read more

I stopped by the west Eugene ATT store a few weeks ago with plans to get a new phone with one of their promotional offers. I was ready to make a purchase when Travis noticed that there was a balance due on my phone line. (I share this account with my father). I came back several days later to show the receipt I had as proof the phone was paid off in 2021. At the point, Mark Salvi, one of the store managers, began trouble-shooting the issue. He flagged the problem with managers several levels higher and there was no obvious answer to how the additional charge was added to my line. The consensus was that if my father took in his phone to the store in Virginia and showed the managers the IMIE number as proof he owned the other phone, ATT would be able to issue some credits. Mark offered to have the Virginia managers reach out to him if they had questions. In my experience, Mark provided exceptional customer service and wanted to help get this resolved. At the Virginia store, the managers were unresponsive. They told the sales person who told them a customer was there to show his IMIE number on his phone, their response was they didn't know anything about it and they didn't bother to ask additional questions. Major thumbs down to managers at Southpark Blvd. Praises to Mark Salvi for all of his efforts aiming for a solution to this strange charge on our phone bill. I've received good service here in the past, but today I dealt with a sales rep who could not have cared less. He talked down to me and left mid-sentence to help two men as soon as they came in. The rep did not return and I doubt he noticed when I left the store without completing my transaction. I felt disrespected by his impatient and dismissive manner. Won't be back to this store; may end my relationship with AT&T. Why settle for poor treatment while you're making hefty monthly payments? read more

Not a big fan of this AT&T. I had a bad experience with customer service. I came in left my child 3 years old out in the car with a friend. Told them I had a child waiting in the car ask them how long it would be just to diagnose my phone to see what is wrong. They said 4 people ahead of me they can't do anything about it then continue to walk over to a register and organize the desk I look around there for people to each table not one of them being held. I turn around and I look back up no employees out there whatsoever and all of these people waiting I felt that my child and I were not a priority I felt that everybody wasn't being neglected in their customer service was lacking. Worst store I've ever been in. There was 2 to 3 workers helping a customer at a time when though there was a cue of 5 people waiting. We got signed in and was told 15-20 minutes. 45 minutes later we were "helped" just to walk out with nothing but "you can call customer care". I switched from AT&T to Sprint five months ago as I was unhappy with their customer service. I did so knowing it would cost a bit more but felt it worth it. As an aside I'm disabled and often go months before I am able to confirm my bank account charges and mail. I discovered I was still being charged for an iPad cellular plan for my old IPad even though it had been ported over to Sprint along with my cellphone. I've the charges from Sprint to prove it. I could not access my 'account' over the phone as I'd deleted my AT&T info after severing service with them. I was told I had go to nearest AT&T Store to update my PIN and was told this would literally take only a minute. I explained I'd just adopted a neglected dog as an emotional support animal and would have to bring it with me. That customer service rep gave me the address of the nearest store and said they'd contact the store to expect me. When I got to the store I waited patiently for half an hour with my dog even though I only needed to update my PIN. When I was finally called up I explained to the young man I just needed to update my PIN as I'd have to call AT&T customer service back to finish processing my issue and that I was told they should have been expecting me. He rudely informed me 'I don't know who you are' in a raised flippant voice and made me explain my entire situation including my disability before he agreed to change my PIN. From then on he was polite but I felt humiliated and upset that I'd been lied to and expected to share private information that had nothing to do with my visit to the store. After finally leaving the store I called their customer support number back who investigated the billing issue and said I'd be receiving a full refund but it'd need to be processed by another department. I was told they'd contact me when it was resolved. By this time I'd spent easily three or more hours trying to stop being automatically charged even though I was no longer a customer. I used to work in customer service for two decades and I was very polite to each of the representatives as mistakes happen and the individuals I talked with almost assuredly had nothing to do with the billing fiasco. Days later I called back after hearing nothing. The rep searched my 'account' and found no information on their records about any of the previous information I'd been told. They said there was no log or notes of my issue despite the previous reps placing me on hold to investigate and document the issue in their database. The rep that day dropped my call when he tried to transfer me and the woman he had me eventually speak to informed me that I only canceled the account when I'd called a few days prior. Again for an account that'd already been closed for five months and for which I didn't use any cellular service. The rep didn't want to give me her employee ID despite that I'd been lied to multiple times over the course of just a few days. When I asked to speak to a manager she refused but did put me on hold so she could talk to her manager herself. Afterwards she informed me she'd been authorized to refund me $50 to be 'gracious' and I was informed no other offer would be made. The refund amounted to a bit over minimum wage per hour for all the time I spent trying to resolve their error, let alone receive the full refund for the five months for my closed account. I calmly explained I was flabbergasted and upset. I confirmed they wouldn't keep charging me and quit the call after finally getting the rep's Employee ID number as I'd been provided inaccurate information multiple times previously and will have to wait and see if this will finally allow me to not have to deal with AT&T again. I truly hope to NEVER have to do business with AT&T again. read more

AT&T store on Coburg rd, in Eugene. The store manager Courtney Clark is a liar and con person. She told me if I got a phone, and internet and cable, that she would get me $600 in gift cards and a $100 credit on my bill. Needless to say, she didn't do any of these, and not only did they take $360 , plus billed me for $418, in late fees and charges. But I never got the gift cards though! smh! You call yourself a reputable business. ATT is the worst, never go with them, and do yourself a favor and avoid the store!!! I'm going to prepaid. read more

Poor poor customer service. Here is why: After upgrading my phone n Friday, I was told by Anthony I could get a IPad mini for $50 as part of a deal for purchasing an IPhone. I had to bring in my receipt within the next two weeks after my IPhone purchase and I could get the mini at this discount. When I returned two days later to purchase the IPad I was checked in by Betsy. I explained I wished to take advantage of this promo and that I also wanted to upgrade my wife's phone. She took my name, and I was 3rd in line. Unfortunately this store failed to have enough people working to handle the customers present and I was forced to wait an hour to speak with a rep. Once I sat with this person he explained that the IPad mini deal was for business customers only. What???? This as the first I had heard these words. I continued that I wanted to upgrade one of the phones on my account. He looked into my account and said I was 15 days away from the anniversary date and I wasn't eligible. Obviously this could have went much better if Betsy would have taken a moment to ask questions about my account. There should have been more employees, as an hour wait is unreasonable, poor customer service by Betsy by not clearly inquiring as to the reason for the visit, and also failed qualifying eligibility information given by the initial rep Anthony. I would take the time to visit other locations and not patronize this store due to its lack in good customer service. read more

Signed up with AT&T at this location. My bill is $30 a month higher than I was told it would be in store by salesman. The manager just said the salesman didn't understand the promotion and I'm stuck paying $30 a month more than what I was told when signing up or paying a $750 cancellation fee. There's no accountability with management for what the sales team puts down. He even wrote what I would be paying on my packet and they still won't honor it. read more

When this store first set up they had plenty of customer service reps and those people could help you with support issues They were wonderful they would call support on your behalf. However , over a period of time they took away most of the customer service reps and took away any help they could give except to sale phones. today we went in to pay a bill as ATT web site was down again not connecting. there was a bill pay machine there just it required a passcode which was not my password so that was useless and being as only one customer service rep who was helping someone else while others waited around , well i could not get my bill paid. i called att support on the phone only to be hung up on the first time. that rep was going to give me my passcode. i returned the call that this next guy refused. I've been to the 4345 Commerce St AT+T store in Eugene, OR four times. On average, be prepared to wait an hour or more, no matter how many employees are in the store, no matter how many customers are waiting. The only AT+T employee, who was helpful, was a young man named Chris. We came back this evening and hoped we would be dealing with Chris. Unfortunately for us, Chris was done for the day. The fellas that were "working," (and I use the term working VERY loosely here) were B.S.ing with girls who seemed to be their friends. Apparently that is what they are paid to do. If so, AT+T is more than getting their money's worth from those guys. As we waited we couldn't help but overhear their conversations. They talked about everything but phones. It was like they were hanging out, waiting for a keg to be delivered. When we first arrived, we were told only one person was ahead of us. So why were we still sitting there over a 1/2 hour while the employees chatted up their friends? We were there to buy a phone, but couldn't seem to stir the employees into action. After half an hour plus, we left (without a phone.) We had better luck at Target. If you are a huge fan of slow to no service - you'll definitely want to shop at 4345 Commerce St AT+T in Eugene, OR. The service couldn't be slower if the employees were comatose. If you get more positive reviews than this regarding AT+T at 4345 Commerce St in Eugene, it'll more likely than not, be from employees. read more

One of the employees performed a back up when my husband upgraded his phone. Unfortunately something went wrong and we lost 3500 pictures. The store told us that they would hold on to the old phone and not wipe it or send it back until we knew if the back up had worked. The employee said she'd call us the next day. Well, the back up didn't work and we had no pictures. We called first thing in the morning and left a message with no call back, so we called later and again no call back. We finally had to go to the store and it was oops we can't find the phone we are sorry they must've not seen the note and sent it back. I followed up online with customer service the next day and they were going to escalate the matter and send an email out to the area manager and store manager. I went to talk to the manager. He offered me one month of bill credits when I had asked for two. This was their mistake not ours. I told him someone needs to have some accountability and he said I'm taking responsibility by offering a month of bill credits. He told me his area rep could call me the next day and follow up. I told him that I wanted a call that evening or wanted him to call her while I waited. He said he couldn't because she wasn't working. I said, that's weird because you were just on the phone with her. He then said she's working at the store in Roseburg and can't take calls. Hmmm, he just said she wasn't working. I feel like I was given the total runaround and he could care less. I asked him what I needed to do and if I needed to get my attorney involved. He looked at me and said now you are threatening to sue me and I can't talk to you anymore. I laughed and said that's not what I said. I said I'm not suing anyone over pictures but I don't know what to do. He still walked away. I wasn't rude and I wasn't yelling. Unfortunately this store is VERY poorly managed by a manger who clearly does not have the skills to be a manger or to deal with any kind of conflict. He needs a lot more training or maybe some education in business school. At the end of all of this before I left, I asked the other manager if I could get the area rep's name and she told me no and then said I can give you her first name only. I then asked if she could also give me the manager above the area manager and she told me no. Who tells someone that they can't have a supervisor's name. I didn't ask for a phone number, I only asked for a name because I wanted to send a letter into their corporate office. We were promised a call from the area rep today. Has anyone called, nope. Way to go! You are officially terrible at customer service. The manager never apologized and seemed like he could care less and that I was just a burden. We will NEVER go back to an ATT store. We will always go to the apple store from now on for all of our upgrades. I will say that we were helped by a younger guy at one time during all of this (in the store) and he was awesome. He was sympathetic and acted like he cared. He couldn't fix it but he cared which really is all any customer wants. I will also say that the girl who performed the back up also texted to say she was sorry so not everyone in the store is terrible. I would never recommend this store to anyone and will be leaving reviews anywhere I can. The matter has also been escalated at their corporate offices (which the people there were also amazing) and an official complaint is being filed. Ugh, so frustrating that we have to go through. We lost 3500 pictures that we can never get back. We would've backed up on the computer or not given them the trade in phone had we known this would happen. DO NOT SHOP HERE. read more
