The young man Maciej, who helped me first on the phone with a great deal of respect and benevolence, and along with the patients of "Jobe" by First on the phone with a great deal of knowledge I could sense, convince me while I was in Costco at the phone kiosk ready to purchase a $400 new iPhone 16 and didn't tell me in a month that the iPhone 17 is coming out in another month which they would've sold me without telling me that. Maciej over the phone with his honest diagnosis from what I was telling him that was wrong by phone assured me in the most trusting way, this all can be fixed. Arriving at at CPR Cell Phone Repair I was greeted by Maciej a wonderful well-rounded and respectful young man, from there it just kept getting better and better. first of all, my phone wasn't charging it said, moisture detected and phone. Nobody could hear me when I use my speakerphone. My Zag screen, protector, and phone protector was well past due of replacement, living in Florence on the Coast, I would've had to go all the way to Portland to a kiosk in Washington Square to have them switched out with their lifetime warranty, which is second to none. Although Zag does not diagnose, fix or repair phones, but have a great products. An absolutely Zag always stands 100% behind their customers and products. Not knowing that CPR cell phone repair picks up as though you were at the kiosk in Washington Square and carries on their warranty, crazy cool I was next to having an triple birthday party with everyone I ever knew feeling. Maciej examine my phone immediately looked into my speaker and charging port and started cleaning after doing so he had me call him from another side of the store meanwhile on my speakerphone and had me talking in it and I could hear him from across the room, I can hear every word you say and then put the phone 15 feet at least away from me and he could still hear me clearly I was so happy. Coming back to the counter I explained to him I really need to get to Zag in Portland and get a new screen, cover and phone protector that was still under the lifetime on the phone warranty. Maciej I will take care of you here as though you're at the kiosk for we hand-in-hand work with Zag and carry on their warranty in store, absolutely the best experience I've had with this phone since the day I purchased it, Maciej educated me in the most respectful way of needing a stronger charging system for my phone, and the USB-C cables I needed one for my car one for my house and explained how the sea cables even charge better what an incredible young man could only hope the young people in this world could follow his example. Long story short ha ha, I walked out of the store and felt I just bought the brand new phone at Costco with one of the greatest salesman on earth feeling. The honesty and integrity of Maciej renews my faith in many of mankind who are still out there in this world. I'm not sure how I made it this long in life without shattering a phone screen, but the day finally came for me recently. Ugh! I looked into all kinds of options before choosing CPR to fix it. I thought about just getting a new phone and selling my cracked one for parts, or sending it in to the manufacturer for a fix (outside of warranty it would have cost me $149). I even searched YouTube videos to see if I could fix myself, haha. Screen replacement for my Google Pixel 6a here cost $189.99 and took about two hours. I called ahead for a quote so I knew what to expect. I knew it was cheaper to send it to Google for the repair but then I'd not have my phone for 7-10 days! So definitely worth paying a premium for same-say service. I called one other repair place in Eugene and they quoted me at $200, so I felt CPR was right on the market price here. I accidently dropped my cell phone into water and didn't notice it for several minutes. When I fished out, the phone was flat and I couldn't restart it. I took it to CPR and they were able to extract all my data and load it on a new phone. Since I hadn't backed up my data, I was very thankful for their help. I took my iPad in and the guy simply said we don't work on them. I called back at few days later just to find out more info and they told me they take everything and work on everything. So I brought it in and then they acted like they never toss me that over the phone. They took $50 and my iPad still. They called back a couple days later saying they couldn't do anything and I could come pick it up. When I picked it up the screen was broken even though it was perfect when I gave it to them. This is by far the worst kind of service I've ever received. Idk what's this guys problem but you some don't have the right to damage clients property when they give it to you for repair. Took my iPhone XR in with what I thought was a cracked screen and when they said it was just the screen protector, I was very pleased and had them replace it and add a drop resistant case. That was about 8 months ago, now fast forward to last week when my MacBook Air battery was dying. I called them and they didn't have one in stock so they ordered it and called me when it showed up. Upon dropping it off, they got right in it and within 30 minutes it was done AND I even received an email telling me so. I was quoted a much higher price and a week long leadtime somewhere else to repair my shattered phone, while being advised that no one else carried what I needed on stock. My phone dropped off a cliff and luckily landed flat on the ground. I thought I have to go buy a new phone ! I climbed down the mountain and found my phone , figuring it was lost and tried to turn it on , but the screen was black...so just hiking back over to my truck I heard some dings, and bells ... My phone works but I can't see anything on the screen. So when I got home I searched screen repair near me and the closest place was an hour and a half away in Eugene. I called CPR cell phone repair and the clerk told me that they do have a screen and digitizer but that's it's at the Salem location and they'd have it ready for me the next morning. So my wife and I , drove the hr and a half to CPR Eugene and arrived at 10:30am. The clerk in the store said that the part we needed is out for delivery , but they don't get their deliveries until normally 3 pm ( they'd have it ready for me the morning ). So we said well will go drive around and come back . We drove around for a couple hours, then thought we'll go back to the store parking lot and park there to wait. We found a spot directly in front of their front door. I went in and asked for an update ... They said the part still wasn't there . So we just got back in the cruiser and waited....tick .....tock.......tick . Then we saw the fed ex guy delivered a PKG and I went in and asked is it in that pkg . They said yes and went to work . We went back to the cruiser and waited about another hour and a half ... I finally went into check and they said that's about perfect timing your phone is ready . I got the phone paid the $259 bill and walked out to make the long drive home. Happy they could fix it but ..... Being told by the clerk the previous day that it would be ready in the morning when he knew it wouldn't make it to there store until 3 ,their normal delivery time . Then also , if they would have given my wife's phone updates every so often as to the progress as well as that it was ready to be picked up would have been a more professional way to treat their customer. This is the reason for a 4 star review ... The job turned out great , them lying and lack of customer service is inappropriate at best ! read more

I called 3 hours before arriving to make sure they could help me to repair my phone screen the same day , a nice lady answered the phone and said yeah no problem. The dude working at the front desk had a bad attitude he apparently didn't see my appointment and told me to come back tomorrow and I told him that I specifically asked to leave work early since I was assured on the phone that there was no problem me going there an hour and a half before they close . He again had a terrible attitude and said "well I guess I will have to stay later then " trying to make me feel bad about it On top of that I find very unethical that he asked my iPhone passcode like nothing , with no shame I of course refused to give him my passcode because they were just fixing the screen they don't need to see all my private things on my phone there is no way ever I would trust this dude or anyone with my passcode At the end he didn't even need it , he was really expecting me to leave my phone alone with him while my screen is getting repair. My phone screen was repaired without requiring me giving my passcode . I don't trust this place neither that worker. First of all this joint was so professional looking so the trust factor off the bat really made me feel confident that my practically new $1200 phone can be put back to a original factory look and working condition. I chose to have the screen replaced with an original manufacturer screen and wow it took 2 hours but was fully satisfied and they warrantied it for 12 months for defects and damage. It was spendy though but I'm ok with the price I paid to save me having to buy a used phone off the internet. Cost for a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra was $418. I know, I know it was expensive but I definitely at this point am happy with the quality finish of their work. As for other older phones their prices are very competitive. read more

I would come back here for sure! As pretty much every place like this is, it was not cheap. But the important part is the job they do, customer service, and warranty. They did well in all of these things! The owner was there to receive my phone and was obviously knowledgeable in what he does. He fixed my phone is one day and that was really helpful. He was also very kind. I got my phone back from one of his other employees later and he was also kind! They have a good warranty, and if they "fix" something and it doesn't actually work, they don't charge you. Which is awesome. But if they fix it and it works but the same problem occurs again you can bring it back in up to a certain point of time. Anyways, my friends and I have had bad experiences before with small local places, and this is a franchise, which I would always recommend because it's more established! GO CPR! read more

Brought my phone here awhile back. I called in the day before, and they verified they had the right parts to fix my phone. It was in bad shape. I didn't think it could be fixed, and on that particular day I was also kind of in a rush. The two guys who helped me gave me a time and price quote and went to work. I left my phone there and left to take care of some errands. It felt really weird to leave my phone with a couple of strangers. I showed back up a little early and sat down in the tiny wait area. They had multiple walk ins while I was sitting there. Their interactions with customers seemed very genuine, knowledgeable, and honest. They took a little longer than expected to fix my phone, but they apologized, and I'm pretty sure they knocked a little off the price for that. My phone fix cost under $100, and I thought the price was very reasonable. It wasn't something I could've ever figured out myself, and it beats the cost of a new phone by far! Here are the facts. I took my daughter's iPhone 7 Plus in for a screen repair a few days ago. When we returned from dinner we were informed that the phone would not reboot and that replacing the battery should fix it. I told them no and explained that the phone was working just fine before. After a for more attempts, they were able to get it to work. I payed the 140+ fee and went home with a happy daughter. Next, not so happy after I discovered I could not hear her when I tried to call her. You would think we would have checked, but you know teenagers they perfer to text instead. As a dad, I more interested in her ability to speak with emergency services. On their end, as a quality control measure I would have expected that was checked...but whatever. Back we went today, and they proceeded to quote an additional 80 to fix the microphone. I explained that once again it was working before and they should fix. I was told that this phone has a known problem and its not a matter of if but when. When I continued to argue with him, this is what he came up with: "If as a company I replaced your tires and then there was an issue with your brakes would you ask me to pay to fix them". He also stated that this was just a coincidence. I was taken back and promptly left before I allowed things to escalate. Now that I've had time to calm down, absolutely yes...if you replaced my tires and in the process you clipped my brake line, I expect you to fix my brakes. Additionaly, are you seriously trying to get me to believe that in the 746 days that we've owned this phone the "when" of this known iPhone problem would occur on the exact day you did the screen repair? Seriously! As a business, I expect you to do the right thing. Fix my daughter's phone or pay for a replacement. read more

These guys really made my day! I bonked my iPhone HARD, and shattered the screen. Very disappointing, as I don't have a computer and rely on my phone so much! But they replaced my shattered screen, and just being good guys, put a screen protector on it that I had bought a year ago but hadn't gotten around to putting it on...they are very nice folks who work here, professional and personable. I didn't shop around so I don't know how their prices compare, but I found the cost reasonable and they were able to complete the work in about 2 or so hours on a Saturday, which really helped me out! I made a momentous mistake believing CPR was a full-service provider. After spending $899 on a new iPhone 14, I was informed they could not transfer the service from my current phone to the new phone. In fact, I had to go to the AT&T store to transfer the service. Upon visiting the AT&T store I was informed that I was not an authorized individual in the corporate account and they could not transfer the service to a phone purchased from a third party. So I returned to CPR and asked to return the phone, and I was informed they had a NO REFUND policy, even though they could not make the new phone work. I would recommend that you verify they can provide you with a working phone before you hand them your credit card. read more

What a fantastic experience!!! Set up an appointment with the Mac store in pdx to get the 29$ battery replacement because Apple updates killed my iPhone 6 battery. Then I realized I was being an idiot, why drive four hours for a new battery when there are local shops? Called and talked to Mark and for 59$ he could put in a new battery, right then, on Sunday! Went straight down, took maybe five minutes. But my phone still died off a 100% charge in 8 hours, I was not pleased. I went back in to give them hell and another employee offered to give me another battery for free. But then he offered to go through my phone and showed me all the ways I was using my phone inefficiently, step by step. Spent a good fifteen minutes with me and now I went 10 hours yesterday and still had 60% left at the end of the day! Truly fantastic customer service and they stood behind their products. I came in late in the evening a few hours before they were getting ready to close -- stressed, of course, because my phone screen was completely unresponsive to touch -- and they told me that my phone would be ready by the next morning as there were a few people ahead of me. I got a call within the hour that my phone was fixed and ready for pickup. They held the store open for me until I had time to get there because I am a UO student and had to wait for a ride over! So my iphone 6 just seized up one day, I took it back to the place that sold it to me and they said it was d.o.a. & nothing could save it. I wanted a second opinion so I went to the doctors at CPR. CPR took the phone, sent it out and right on time it came back with the same diagnosis, CPU failure, which means cell phone unrepairable... or computer processing unit, but either way the result was the same. Amazing service, friendly staff, honest, & dependable. Would definitely recommend taking your broken accessories here, even if it's out of the way. I strongly dislike having my phone in a case therefore visiting accessory repair shops isn't too rare of an occurrence for me. In late 2015 I dropped my iPhone 6 and shattered the screen. Eugene iRepair was about 500 feet away so I stopped in w/o an appointment. They quoted me a fair $100 and told me they could have it ready in less than an hour. They followed through on both promises. Phone worked and looked great so I popped a case on it to keep it that way. Today (circa 2/3 months after they replaced my screen) I took the phone out of it's case to clean it and noticed the top right of the screen protruding a bit. My phone still worked and I wouldn't have noticed it had I not slipped it out of it's case. However, the small problem definitely had the potential to become a large problem in the future, and bc of the dampness that coincides with the winter here, it seemed important to fix. Normally I would have left my phone in it's case and dealt with the issue when it came up again but being that iRepair is so close, I decided to stop in and ask if they had any suggestions on the best way to counter my problem. I, again, was greeted with a smile from the man behind the counter (Britt) who was helping someone else at the time but I appreciated that he acknowledged me and took the time to say he'd be right with me. I overheard him suggesting to the man he was helping that Amazon would have a better price on [whatever the guy was looking for] than iRepair would. I thought was nice of him to suggest and also spoke to the integrity of how the Eugene iRepair business is ran. When it was my turn I showed Britt my phone and mentioned how I'd been in a few months back and as I was about to ask him for a suggestion on how to fix it myself he stopped me and said they'd gladly fix it, explaining that sometimes after repair the glue can unmount causing a small protrusion. I explained I was simply looking for a way to keep my phone in tact for the time being and he said not to worry they'd fix it bc they offer a year warranty -crazy bc I had never encountered a warranty offer good for more than 30 days with any phone repair let alone one that lasts 365 days. I was happy to hear about the warranty but I had no idea where my receipt was for my previous visit (who would?) and had no way to prove I'd even been into this store. Before I could embarrassingly explain this or the fact that I was too broke to pay a BS warranty fee, Britt took the phone to inspect it and said he could have it ready in 40 minutes at no cost to me. I am so glad I decided to stop in. My phone is back to new and working perfectly. For the second time they fulfilled their time and cost estimate. It never even crossed my mind that I would leave the store with a good-as-new phone at no cost to me. It's rare to find a business that operates this way. ::Eugene iRepair could have easily gotten me for another $100 (had I had it) and I know this because the crap place I took my phone to before moving to Eugene botched the repair and I ended up paying twice ($238 w/i 2 weeks) for their mistake.
