The service provided in this store is TERRIBLE. There was a woman (possibly manager on duty) and another associate sitting on the couch at the front door. Had others sitting at tables waiting to be helped.. The woman working as a floor manager and her employee walked away from me after trying to resolve my issue with my replacement device. The associate went to a random table near the front and just ignored me. No help or possible resources to try and get my device replaced. Forced to contact the corporate help number. Just go to another location, because the people working this store don't care about you or your issues. They hardly want to do their jobs I suggest AT&T corporate looks over the staff here at Preston & Warren in Frisco, TX. Myself working in retail and customer service understands the relationship between the two. I get there is only so much you can do but refusal to help the customer is unacceptable. Sharing my less than stellar experience because I'm still scratching my head at a few things. My husband and I switched to AT&T this past week and when setting up our phones we hit a roadblock. I went to this location yesterday at lunch for help. Samantha greeted me and was kind. This is where it gets a little uncomfortable- we're working at a high top where another associate approaches her snacking on a pop-tart. She then proceeds to break it off and share with the associate who is helping me. She is eating this while also touching and handling my new phone. I AM NOT AGAINST stepping sway for a snack. But the time and place did not feel appropriate to me. She then tells me that the towers are down and it would be fixed in 24 hours or so. That was not the case- I chatted with AT&T support and got the issue resolved and was told it had nothing to do with "towers being down". Which upset me even more- did they not feel like helping me and used an excuse to get me to leave? Did they not know what to do and didn't feel like asking for help? Do yourself a favor and travel the extra distance to visit another location. read more

I was in the store yesterday and was interested in upgrading my phone to the 16E. The store was not crowded. I was not greeted when I walked into the store. I looked at the demo phone close to 5 minutes. Not one salesperson ask me did I need some help or what I was looking for until I was walking out the store. This store was recommended to me for being extremely helpful and honest for what todo in certain situations . I also choose this location as the store AT&T partners with to fix phones is right next door . I originally went to go get my phone fixed at Asurion . However through many complications and not being able to file a claim I went to AT&T to get a new one . Most stores don't have the bigger megabits in stock so I had to order it and ship it to my home . Once I received my new phone Chris was so helpful to walk me through every step and every question I had . I could tell he really enjoys what he does and was extremely patient with me . I was absolutely the most patient I've ever been because I get people have bad days, but at work there is a certain level of professionalism that is a must. The first visit 2/8 about 9:30am an employee (box taper) rudely interrupted the person helping me told him " let me see the back of your tablet" absolutely entitled and rude. He didn't apologize or even say good morning to the guy. He just walked off. The guy helping was kind and a lot more patient than I would have been with this child. 2nd visit 2/8 about 12:30 A manager I presume, allowed a associate Tory (tall skinny with dreads) I can't recal his name right now, to not only walk away from assisting me 3 different times. She never addressed it until I got loud and stated I'm getting pissed. He proceeded to get up again and he told her he was leaving for lunch in which she decided to ask did you finish helping the customer which she knew he hadn't. Absolutely the worst AT&T managed store I've seen. There was no accountability for employee behavior and who was scheduled to work. The old adage inmates are running the prisons. At first, we were not happy with our service since the sale associate didn't apply the auto pay discount and put the insurance add-on on our account which resulting an extra $70 charge to our account per month. However, manager Natalie was really patient with us and listen to our concern, she investigate the case and realize the sales associate was at training and mess it up. She will able to credit us the miss charge without any arguing or question. 100% will return to this AT&T store if we have questions/concern later. read more

Visited this store today to get help with my phone. As I stood at the front of the store, waiting for help, I noticed there was one employee sitting down at a table, helping some customers. I anoticed another customer waiting to be helped as well. Then, about five minutes later three guys that were watching football in the back of the store, all wearing hoodies so it was tough to tell they were actually employees, turned around and came to help us. I even asked him if he had been watching football, and he looked me straight in the eye, and said yes! Wow...just wow. Absolutely unacceptable and AT&T should be embarrassed. read more

I walked into AT&T today to get another replacement for a broken Spec case under warranty. As I walked in Kamisha, whose tag read "Manager" greeted me without a hello. She seemed to ask what I was there for without saying so. I explained that I was just in to get a replacement. She immediately starts asking me why I need one and inferring that my case is probably not under warranty. She didn't even know my name at this point. She kept on like this and I insisted I wanted to see if it was under warranty at which point she took my name down. Katrina helped me. She first told me that since I had merged my account two months ago that she couldn't pull up the warranty information. She kept using the word "you" to explain that I had closed or merged the account and therefore "they" couldn't help me. All of my warranty and receipt information was gone. I continued to sit there and ask why it was they were okay with losing all of my information and then she tried again. Voila! She found my information, that she insisted couldnt be found. Turns out the case warranty expired in July. I definitely am not purchasing from them again. I am so upset by the customer service which was more like customer attack that I received that I will be looking for another cell provider. read more

My daughter and I went in today to get the new iPhone, the customer service was horrendous. When checking in, we mentioned that we were there to get the new iPhone 11 pro. After being there for 30 minutes we decided to ask if they had the phones we wanted in stock, and she proceeded to tell us that "THEY HAVE NO iPHONE 11 PRO IN STOCK IN ANY COLOR OR GB". You would think it would be common sense to tell the customer what is in stock before they sit for 30 minutes wasting their time. The worst. Don't go. Either shop online or head to Best Buy around the corner. My family and I walked into the store looking to buy three new i-phones. The sales associate looked up our account and told us that we were able to upgrade our phones. She also later shared the fact that we would have to pay an absence amount of money for the I phone 5S. We were willing to sign a contract and trade in our phones. Yet, she told us each phone would cost over 200? The whole situation was just odd. We left the store and canceled the transaction. She was a nightmare. On the way home we stopped by Best Buy to look at some electronics. We came across the most wonderful sales team! I now know that I can purchase any phone through best buy (they work with all wireless carriers!!) We ended up trading in our old phone and upgrading to the new 5 s. Don't go here!! They lie ! Thomas told me he would offer 1/2 of my restoral fee after talking to the manager I declined because it was their fault it needed to be restored! The phone was shut off due to waiting on a credit from their mistake but they never processed it and expected me to pay their mistake! After I declined and asked to call and speak to a supervisor at their 800# because I wanted a full credit for the charge they assured me that the store should have honored that request. I mentioned it to Thomas and he started putting "notes" in my account. . When I asked to see them he said he wasn't allowed to show me??wtf? I purchased my iPhone yesterday from this location and I was helped by an associate by the name of Jose I believe. He was wonderful. Very helpful and knowledgeable. He took his time and help me set up my new phone. Walked me through all of the features and answered all of my questions. He waited patiently as my phone backed up all of my info. He was great. I feel terrible because AT&T sent me a survey after I left and I wasn't paying attention and accidentally put an unsatisfactory number instead of satisfactory. Not sure if this is the one in the Stonebriar Centre. If yes, DON'T GO THERE! Went in at 1pm and saw these men walking around with a pad. One approached me and I told him I needed a prepaid $30 phone card. He "signed me in" on his pad and told me I was 8th in line and the wait would be about 20 minutes to half hour. I window shopped a bit and went back at 1:30pm. I went up to the man who signed me in and asked if my name was called and he said, "Oh, yeah, you missed it so you have to start in line again." Really? When has anyone able to walk out of a phone store in less than 15 or 20 minutes? I was 8th in line so if these people worked wonders and took care of business quickly, it would still have taken them a good hour or longer to service 7 customers. They cut me loose because they are on commission and I wasn't making a major purchase. The worst!!! read more

Where can I begin? This AT&T store has amazing customer service. Door opening service and greeted by Anthony. He helped me find a better phone deal than my current provider, he helped me pick a phone that caters my needs and accessories to go with the phone. He was very knowledgeable and understanding. Anthony isn't those push to sale reps. He was patient and explained everything in detail. I didn't feel like I was being attacked by sales. He provided me an easier and cheaper TV program so now I am able to save monthly. He was a wonderful rep and I definitely will be coming back to this store for any of my phone, internet, tv needs. read more

Had one of the worst customer service experiences at this store at Preston/Warren in Frisco, TX. The manager Christopher needs some training or to find another line of work. -I entered the store and told the female rep at the door why I was there and she put me on the walk in list. -I waited for 30 minutes with one person still in front of me (a woman with a child). I noticed one customer had TWO reps helping him. Two male customers came in after us and were put on the same list after us. Within 5 minutes they were being served by reps. - I went to one rep standing at door (who I learned was the manager, Christoper) and asked if there was a reason those two went ahead of us. He said they were "buying something" (aren't the majority of people buying something?) and they didn't need anyone to access their account. Okay, that made some sense and I said "in the future it would probably be nice to tell customers that so they aren't concerned like me - especially if they have been waiting awhile". He said "okay, if you really need someone to SIT down and explain that to you." That response created a situation that didn't need to happen with Christopher's condescending words and attitude. I said "I don't need anyone to SIT down and explain anything to me but good customer service is always important". And then I went to sit down. -A man and his wife entered at that time and were put on the list after me and the other girl. Within a few minutes the female customer with her child were being assisted. -I noticed Christopher was at the counter talking to a couple of reps. Then he disappeared into the back room. My name went off the walk in list so I stood up thinking I was going to be helped next. The rep walked right past me and to the man and his wife who came in 20 minutes or so AFTER me. I stood there shocked. Christopher came back out and I asked him why my name disappeared and another couple (who clearly needed assistance that was more than just "buying something") was being served before me again. -Christopher said let me look. He said he wasn't sure why my name disappeared. The way he said it raised my suspicions that it might have been intentional. He said they have been having "glitches" with that board (interesting it was only with me who was deleted if there was a "glitch"). He started talking loudly saying "what do you want me to do interrupt other customers?!" I said no but I would like better and more professional customer service. He said many employees in that store had been there a long time and he had never had anybody else complain. I said I had been coming there for many years and never been talked to like he was talking to me. He was talking so loudly and yelling to other reps asking how much longer they would be - all said they did not know. Keep in mind Christopher the MANAGER never once offered to help me with me very quick account question! He said he didn't know how long it would be so it was up to me what I wanted to do. I said I would leave (after over 45 minutes of waiting!) and report this later. No apologies were ever given. I'm not a hot-tempered person. It all started with a simple question and Christopher chose to make it one of the worst customer service experiences I ever had. I then went to Stonebriar Mall AT & T store and was helped in 5 minutes by Taj who was very professional and efficient. I told him of my experience at the other store and he ran it by his store manager (who was on a break in the back) and he asked me to write it all down and someone would contact me once he told Spencer the area manager. It's been a week and I have heard from no one. I would like to say maybe Christopher was having a bad day but my intuition says this is just the way he does business. No apologies, no intention to help me himself and he most likely deleted me from board for inquiring about why I kept getting overlooked on walk-in list. I can't believe I waited 36 mins to do an even exchange on an accessory. There's a greeter there Itma who was very nice who asked the manager/Martin to do a quick exchange for me... He never acknowledged my existence and continued his closing duties. I also believe I heard Martin saying under his breath that I could go to the other store as to indicated if I wanted quicker service. Yet there seems to be two guys aimlessly standing at the register assisting no one but yet I am waiting for someone to do a simple swap out of my damaged phone case. Manager here is unhelpful and unfriendly. Came in to see if they could help replace my mobile wifi device that malfunctioned two months after purchase. After thirty minutes they told me to call AT&T and use my personal cell as a wifi hotspot for upcoming biz trip. I see what you did AT&T!
