AVOID this store. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME or MONEY. Worst experience ever. The customer rep even decided not to attend me and walk away. They are only interested in sales, if you need help on any other topic, you are better off on a different location. My recommendation is to go to Best Buy. Moved to a new house and can't use my cell phone in my house. Went to the Verizon store and they would not give me an extender so our phones would work. They were very polite but , this seems to be short sighted. Yes, I could go to Best Buy and purchase a $300 extender myself or I could change my phone plan and pay my $400+ mthly bill to AT&T or T-Mobile and get a free phone to boot. read more

Shortly after I started talking to a rep someone turned on some music. The rep and I both had to raise our voices. The employee who assisted me gave me incorrect info on my account. I was given a specific deal on my iPhone 16 and the account says the incorrect amount. He didn't look deeper to see that the amount showing was not applied to my agreement. I had this confirmed by two other Verizon associates in the Allen area. I had records of the agreement I signed in September 2024 so I wasn't able to move forward with the correct payoff amount to get a new phone due to my current one being hacked. read more

This location is very awful in customer service. They are very rude to take care of the Verizon issues. Verizon password doesn't go through then I had to change passwords couple of times. Still get the message that password doesn't work. Then they told me to go to Apple Store to solve the issue. All the representatives are not so friendly at all but rude all the way. read more

I've been a Verizon customer for 16 years. I spend a lot of money on 3 devices with a teenager in the home. My experience today at this still will likely leave me to drive further the next time and order online instead of my normal habits. After spending 45 min today on the phone, trying to reach someone and after several attempts to file a claim for my sons phone online, I was left with my only option of coming to the store today for help. I'm first greeted with the requirement of standing outside in the 80 degree weather in a long line that ultimately I stayed in for 50 min. After I finally got to the front a sales member Derrick greeted me and I can only assume bc I wasn't buying, activating a phone he was not interested in helping me. He continued to tell me, Verizon cant help me I have to call Asurio (obviously I am aware of this) but I relayed to him to that I was not able to reach anyone on the phone and my online claim form while save . Would not proceed and I just needed help figuring out how to get to the next steps. He told me fine he would see but he was pretty sure he couldnt help me and that my son couldnt go in, only 1 at a time. This gave me hope. Then a General Manager Ron pulled up and said with enthusiasm, "have you been helped"? I relayed my situation and he responded to me the same. I said. All I need is help is Verizon not even willing to look at it with me? And he finally agreed and said someone would be right with me. I asked him if he could help, and he said no, he was the manager he could not help me. I waited another 20 min and then Derrick came back out and said he would have to take the gentleman that had been waiting for 15 min bc he set an appointment. I waited more. Moral to the story, the only reason I pay more for Verizon is the customer service. I can do this terrible service with Spectrum and save $150 a month. Let alone that just pretending like you want to help goes a long way, just try to help the customers that are loyal with you. Verizon has an oligopolistic hold on the cellular network market so, unfortunately, as a consumer there isn't much that we can do about it with our dollars but, for what it's worth, this location is full of a bunch of clowns (minus one or two good employees). We very much regret switching from T-Mobile and will switch back when our current plan's over. It took us 3 visits to get set up with our new plan because their specialist couldn't figure out how to switch us from a pre-pay plan to a post-pay plan and then wasn't familiar enough with the application process to even let us know what to bring into the store for verification/authentication. We conceded on the pre-pay plan after all the trouble and then their wanting to charge us to "convert" from a pre-pay plan to a post-pay plan even though it was because their rep didn't do a good job of describing the options. We've unfortunately had to go back again because Verizon for some reason had locked the SIM on one of our old phones and we couldn't get through to customer service via the corporate line for three hours. Once we got there, even though one of the reps said that their manager had a way to help customers "skip" the line who show up to get a problem resolved, the manager came out and very brusquely and impolitely said that there's nothing he can do. Not what common sense dictates or what his rep said. It made us wonder why he behaved in that way and then, when we got in the car, we saw that he had immediately left work. Clearly didn't want to stick around for the 30 minutes that were still within the work day (we arrived at 5:30 and the store closes at 6:00) because he wanted to get home early before his employees. read more

The people who work in this store are lovely. However, the management is appalling. Today I ran by to pick up an online order. The manager had left for lunch with the key to the order drawer. It happens. They contacted him and said he was coming right back. It took him 40 minutes to return to the store. When he came in, he waltzed by without a work or a glance. Passed off the key and went to the back. When I called him out he was not apologetic at all For the amount you pay for a phone, at least you might get politeness and common courtesy. Ron clearly doesn't have an interest in using his brain to come up with a solution. He started our conversation disinterested in my issue and it became obvious that he is not suited in problem-solving very early in our conversation. I give a star to Verizon because at least it tends to be less of a pain to work with. But this location is for the birds. They were openly rude to customers and outwardly judgmental. A veteran came in with his service dog and they kept questioning his need for a service dog and his status in and with the military. Classy guys, really classy. For me, my bill went from 175.34 to 478.98 so I thought I'd go get some assistance in understanding. I did purchase a new iPad so I knew the charges were going to increase. However, that seemed excessive. Apparently someone made an error and tried to correct it with cancelling a line and restarting a line on the same device- what that ended up doing is charging me an early termination fee ($175) for a mistake I didn't even know was made by the retailer. The lady who 'helped' me at this location spoke to me like I was an idiot. Even though it was clear an error from the retailer was made. She was scrolling her device and basically tapping her fingers until I would get out. I desire to be properly informed. No apologies there. I'm sure if her bill had an increase and seemed questionable, she acquire more info. Maybe it's because I stopped in Frisco. And yes, I'm aware that that is a judgment. read more

We had an awesome time here the last two visits. Most recently we upgraded my wife phone and added a line for my business. We stopped in and was instantly greeted by Shane. He was an absolute cut up and we had a blast laughing and discussing our needs. He made the experience a lot of fun and knew his stuff about all the products and services whether it was phones, services, accessories, or even Bose technology. Horrible service! I have profound hearing loss and really struggle to understand someone whose voice is muffled by a mask. Add an accent to that and it's hopeless. I requested that the sales rep lower his mask so I could read his lips. (I'm wearing a mask and he's behind a plexiglass barrier.) He didn't answer but another associate said they weren't allowed to do that. (Not true, I discovered.) Since I could understand him a little better, I asked that he take over. He refused. Service was great when I went in, but it wasn't honest. JD is the representative that helped me. Moved 3 lines to Verizon, one of them is my Mom's phone in Arizona. JD told me that the phone in AZ would stay active until the new SIM card was installed, and that they could overnight the SIM card to AZ. I asked JD if we could just have them pick up a SIM card from a local Verizon store and he said they have to be an authorized user for 30 days before they could do that. Turns out the phone was deactivated from T Mobile right when we added the line to Verizon. No biggie it's just one day right? We'll it's the next day, FedEx says they delivered the package, but it's not there. (not Verizon or JD's fault) After calling customer service we were able to arrange to have a SIM card picked up at a local store with no problems. My Mom's phone could have been activated yesterday if JD had let us use the option of getting the SIM card at a local store. I wonder if his reasoning for the was it was done was so he could get paid more. . . read more

I came into this store this morning to replace my stolen jetpack. Everyone from the sales to tech support made an absolute mess and I was without internet connectivity via wifi hotspot all day. This was a problem considering my home office Internet was down and I need to use my jetpack for a webex meeting. I came back to the store to exchange the jetpack as recommended by Verizon tech support and am here now. This employee, Shayla, who has no concept of customer service refused to admit fault on Verizons behalf & insisted that I would have to pay a $35 restocking fee if I want to get a new jetpack....what a joke. Store was blaming their customer service & saying they gave me the wrong info. Bottom line: I wasted a day dealing with something that should have been a 15-20 transaction. read more

Needed a iPhone accessory but you cannot talk to the Verizon Store people on the phone. Instead, you must waste time and energy driving to the Verizon store stand in line risking exposure to the China virus only to find out they do not have the item you want. This all could've been handled with with a 20 second phone call, but they won't answer the phone. I WAS able to telephone an AT&T store and find the item I needed. While there, I purchased a new iPhone Pro, I switched my carrier from Verizon to AT&T. Verizon, instead of taking the time to respond to this review, use that time to ANSWER YOUR PHONE. read more

Sold phones to my elderly parents based on false representation. They pretty much lied about the promotion and that cost them $1000. My parents can't afford it since they are on fixed income. Verizon customer service won't do anything after promising to fix this issue repeatedly. The store says they can't do anything. Stay away from these scammers. Recently purchased Blackberry Z10. Long set up made short = Advised by Verizon Corp Sales Rep to go into this location & complete purchase. I will do my very best to never cross the threshold of this store again. 1) 611 rep = Long term customer so I was able to get the $30 upgrade fee waived & promised instantaneous rebate even I completed purchase in store. 2) Store manager refused to honor waiver / rebate promise. I got the 611 rep on the phone & she instructed manager they would credit my account the $80 & sell me the phone. 3) Manager walked away & mouthed to another employee - "can you believe this shit?" 4) From that moment forward - Sales rep & manager treated me coldly. 5) Phone had a bad battery. Verizon tech support & Blackberry support advised me to take phone back and swap with new phone (coz I only had the phone 4 days). 6) Store rep gave me third degree as though I did something to damage the phone. Even asked if the phone had been exposed to water & then took back the accusation when I challenged her why she asked. Then..slipped into the back - came back out & refused to swap the phone. Insisted on a battery change instead. I refused that option stating " I was advised by verizon tech & BB support to swap the phone. That's what I expect. I don't want to have to come back again if it is a phone issue as they suspect". Store rep stated "they don't make the decision. We do. (but) I will make you happy and go ahead and do it for you." This statement was made with a condescending tone of voice. I responded sarcastically, "Thanks for doing me a favor James!" His reply "I'm doing you a favor and making you happy by changing the phone!" I replied "Make me happy by not making me argue with you & making me feel as though I'm cheating the system or begging for the phone!" Bottom Line - I had dealings with 4 different store employees. 2 management & 2 sales. IMO = the culture in this store is the mentality of grandiose prima donnas power tripping customers. They also remind me of that Know - it - all computer geek character played by Jimmy Fallon on SNL. In other words - They suck. read more

It's never fun going into the phone store. I don't care how excited you are about getting a new phone or whatever you are going in for, it can be a beating. It's nobody's fault....well, ok, it's the big companies' faults but it's hard to place the blame really. However, if you must go, I recommend you go see Kurt. He was super friendly and personable. He helped me out and made good conversation. He really tried to get me the best deal and to hook me up with any accessories. I must say that I could have gotten the tempered glass screen online for $5.99 but bought it from Kurt for $24.99 (less my company discount) because he was so helpful with everything. I would have loved to get the Lifeproof Nuud clear case for my new iphone 5s, but I was not ready to swallow $100+ for that baby; a slight discount from the manager would have helped and secured the sale there. I am not impressed with the management at this store, at least Asif who was the manager on duty when I was there. This is because I was in the store for an hour and he never came over to say hello and check in to make sure all was going well. He could have. He came onto the floor once or twice when a sales rep went to get him and then he retreated back to his hole in the back room. It was very odd behavior. I'm sure he has things to attend to, but even restaurant managers check in with buying customers. Speaking of being there an hour, it sure would be nice if they had some kind of water source or could offer up a bottle or cup of water. I left super thirsty. Perhaps because I'm 6 months pregnant, but perhaps because I was standing around talking for an hour. Just an idea.
