PLEASE READ- I brought my phone here and had my screen swapped out. When I got my phone back, there was a warning that it was not syncing with my phone. The guy said it would go away. Within an hour I was not able to use my phone as it kept freezing. I bring it back, they replace it for free. When I leave, within an hour there is a line down the middle of my phone and eventually again, it doesn't work. I went back and asked for my old screen back and when the guy replaced my screen, he said that half of the screen broke while putting in a screw. I was then denied a refund. I took my Apple phone to get the Cristal replaced and they did a terrible job, two weeks after I pick it up the Cristal came off because they did not glue it properly so I went back and they did not take responsibility, so I got stack with almost $200 charge and a broken watch. I do not recommend you deal with them! read more

Al hooked me up with a sweet new case for my new iPhone 14! Super stoked to try it out!

I got my screen fixed about a week ago and my phone froze while I was still at the mall. I go back and Inform the people that my phone was freezing. They said they installed it wrong and to come back in another 30 minutes. 30 minutes later I come back and it seems fine... until the drive home where my phone starts glitching again and shows static at the top of my screen. They messed it up twice and I paid 160$ for them to mess it up two times. I don't advise using them. read more

My friends phone was stolen at Andrietti's in Grandscape and my phone was tracked to Cell Tech at Stonebriar Mall. When we went to ask the sales people, they were dismissive and hostile. They didn't even look for the phone even though they are a phone repair shop. They attempted to reset my Apple ID and tried to steal money from my Apple wallet. Wow! I am really shocked that there are so many poor reviews. Perhaps we got lucky with a competent associate the day we went to the mall. My boyfriend has an old Iphone 7 that had a cracked screen. Everything worked perfect, the microphone, the camera, the touch screen. All we needed was a simple screen replacement. The tech said, sure no problem, told us the price ($65) and to come back in 30 minutes. We come back about 45 minutes later and it is ready for us. Everything worked on the phone and it looked great! We asked about a screen protector but didn't want to pay $15 extra for it as that was a bit high. We made plans to order a cheaper one on amazon. My boyfriend isn't the most detail oriented and paid without looking at the bill. The tech charged us $69.99 and I noticed it as we were walking away. Before I could even turn around to start walking back to the storefront, he was already calling after us and waving us down. He said that he noticed he overcharged us on accident and if we would like that screen protector we were looking at instead of refunding the $4.99. We agreed and I think that shows to the integrity of the associate that works there. If I ever have cell phone needs in the future, especially a cracked screen, i will be sure to come here. Expensive, faulty products, poor service and communication. I bought a case for my older Samsung 7 Edge so thought I would return to do the same for my new Samsung S10. I really only wanted a protective case/cover but the man suggested I get a temper glass as well. I should have known because the Verizon guy said they dont have glass for that model yet and the one that comes on the phone from the factory is good enough. The Celltech guy first told me the glass was $40 by itself. It seemed a little high so I bargained down to $40 for both (total ). I had to leave my phone there and come back. There is another cellphone repair / supply right next to these guys. I should have went there first as his prices were better and he actually cares about you ( sorry bro forgot your biz name ). There are NO RETURNS or REFUNDS from Celltech and you must come back with your item within 7 days to get a warranty if something breaks. Well the glass fell off of my phone after day 3 so I had to drive all the way back to the mall and get another one. That one lasted 1 whole week before if started to crack ( i did not drop my phone ). So I am out at least $20 and I WILL NEVER GO BACK to CELLTECH. I had my screen replaced here and it started malfunctioning the next day. Adding calls to existing calls, freezing, not able to select text, FaceTiming people with my face and more. Took it back and similar issues. Even made a video of the keys getting "stuck" like ghost typing. Replaced and still having issues. Three total replacements. I called today and was told i needed to restore my phone because it must something wrong with it (no such issues prior to replacing the screen) to which i asked what if that doesn't work, and the guy said he would refund my money but put a broken screen on my phone. That's really poor business and even worse customer service. read more

I really don't know how to feel about cell tech, the one at Stonebriar mall. I recently went in there to get my iPhone 7 screen replaced, for a price better than anyone else's at the mall. They also mentioned a warranty that they explained would cover anything as long as the screen isn't physically damaged. For the first few weeks the screen worked fine with no issues, but after a month or so, the screen kept glitching and wasn't cooperating. I bring it in and the guy mentioned something about "internal cracking" and the warranty is void. I personally don't know about phones, but I'm beyond confused. What is internal cracking? He also talked up a storm about how in a few weeks the screens for my phone will be cheaper and come back then and he'll give me a "good deal". I have no clue what to think. I guess I should have read the reviews before going to this place.. brought my daughter's iPad with a shattered screen, and asked them to let me know what it takes to make it work again.. the tech just assumed only the screen was to be replaced... first attempt to the job was pad, after a day, the glue came out again, so had to go back again.. then they replaced my black digitizer with a white one,.. yes they asked if this would be ok and I agreed..but he didn't explain that the new digitizer would have no touch id.. And then, I later find out that the iPad charging doesn't work.. their rationale is that they never diagnosed that part.. in other words, they failed to identify all what was needed to restore the iPad .. I would have expected them to fully check the iPad before giving me a quote... based on what the quote was I could have made a different decision and just buy a new one, instead of spending all that ... very dissatisfied customer.. Do NOT recommend that place at all ! read more

A friend recommended I go here to repair a broken SCREEN, I emphasize the screen because those that were supposed to repair my phone ended up breaking something completely unrelated to the original issue. I am aware that there are other phone repair places at the mall, but I trusted my friends word and there were some nice first impressions. One of the guys working there told me that I needed to buy the needed screen so they could start working on it. I understood since it was an older model, so I bought it. Once it arrived I gave it to them to repair. After a few hours, I got a call explaining that the "phone wont charge" which absolutely baffled me since the original, OBVIOUS, problem was the screen. Once I arrived to see what the issue was, it became very aware that these gentlemen had no idea what they were doing. I assume they just worked on it with whatever knowledge they previously had with other phones instead of having actual knowledge of this phone. An older man insisted I pay for the heavily damaged phone, saying "he did his job". Which I must agree with, I mean the screen is fixed, now I just have to repair the charging port that THEY BROKE. After I payed for the dead phone, I went home and disassembled it to see where things went wrong and saw a tear on the internal charging port flex cable. I have never opened the back of the phone before, and it was charging and functioning perfectly before hand. When you put two and two together, it starts to all make sense. To put it bluntly, these gentlemen were inexperienced, greedy and at times rude. The only reason why I wont give it a one star is that the one helping me out was kind. I think I understand now why not a lot of people come to them for help, and those that do only return thanks to the mistakes these "repair men" make. read more
