I strongly recommend that you avoid this location. My daughter went to this AT&T location with her phone (had a broken screen) and another phone (like new) that belonged to my deceased husband. She needed to transfer service from her broken phone. She presented both the broken phone and the like new phone to complete the device transfer (AT&T review the video footage of her visit). Javier was the sales representative that "helped her". Javier told her that she would need to purchase a new line and a brand new phone in order to fix the situation with the damaged screen. My daughter explained that she can not change her phone number because she also uses the existing phone number for work (she has an extensive client list). Javier stated that the only way to complete this process was to buy the new line, which could be canceled three months later, and actually purchase a brand new phone. She brought in TWO phones, one in perfect condition. All he needed to do was transfer the service between phones. Both phones were in her hand. Javier knew exactly what he was doing, and it's known as CRAMMING! My daughter called me while she was with him and on speaker phone. We both insisted that she could not change her phone number and that a new line was unnecessary and that this process did not make any sense. What would we do with an extra line that isn't being used? Again, he insisted that adding a new line then transferring the phone from the new line to her existing number was the only way to fix her problem. And just cancel the new line 3 months later. What he actually did was sell her a line that she didn't need, a new phone sale and committed her to a 3 YEAR CONTRACT! this is completely immoral. He lied! We made numerous calls (and spent many hours) to AT&T customer service to fix this situation and we were told that we needed to go into the store and speak with a manager to have the unnecessary line removed. This store is an hour and a half away but I still went into the store and spoke with the assistant manager, Cassie. Cassie told me too much time has gone by and her opinion is that Javier did nothing wrong, INTENTIONALLY. We were given so much conflicting information from AT&T customer service and the store. AT&T customer service, in one call, said wait until the bill comes in to see what needs fixed. On another call we were told to research CRAMMING because that's what it sounds like happened. Another time told just go into the store because only the store can fix it. Cassie told us that we shouldn't have listened to AT&T customer service and too much time has passed so she can do nothing. All I want AT&T to do is make this right and remove the line that we aren't, and can't use and for which we DO NOT authorize the continuous charge. And Javier should be FIRED for CRAMMING! And Cassie should be fired for her incompetence and complicity in this mobile cramming scheme being committed in the store she helps to manage. read more

When I called, got the runaround and then was told you're just not going to get what you were promised for switching service because the representative that signed you up didnt enter the promotion claim in time. Ended up entering my email address wrong and now it's taken 2 days and hours on the phone with tech support to try to get access into my own account. I came back tomorrow and they did not seem to care, said "sorry you have to wait another 24 hours, but don't worry we will get another shipment by then I promise." THIS LOCATION LACKS MANAGEMENT I came in around 11:30 asking for a quote on a new phone. Decided to go with it but I was in a time crunch and said I'd be back before they closed. Arrived at 5:06 (signed in) there wasn't A SINGLE EMPLOYEE in sight. Their were 6 people in front of me (who hadn't been helped) in line and a couple people walked in after me. I could hear people talking in the "employees only" room so I walked over and knocked. Two ladies came out and helped where as another two employees walked out the side door straight to their vehicles. This poor elderly customer said she waited almost an hour, AN HOUR!!!!!! Ridiculous! I cracked my screen protector which I purchased there when I purchased my phone. The protector is supposed to be replaced for a small fee by them when this happens. This is for AT&T as a whole not the specific store location. Internet and cable has been out for over 24 hours now. They told us to use hotspot to stream shows online until service comes back. We did that. Now the hotspot has run out and still no internet or cable has been restored. We called the AT&T vip number and they were entirely useless as always. Tried to call to ask if they can increase the hotspot until this is resolved but instead they just wanted to give us a hard time about the account being under my deceased grandfathers name still. Funny how they don't care who you are when you're paying a bill but as soon as you need help with their trash service it becomes an issue. This service is so overpriced for them not being able keep the service functional and not being able to get help when you need it. Overall this company as a whole is pathetic and not worth your time or money. I work from home and I'm losing money from not being able to work because of this worthless company. read more

I needed to upgrade and hit the Bandera and 1604 location Thursday morning and David was an amazing help. Quick and efficient and very helpful for an older gal that isn't so tech savvy with transferring all my apps,files etc. The longest bit of the experience was waiting for the safe to open. It was not what I expected given past stops into any brand for an upgrade and I really appreciate him listening to my needs from the start and being forthright with I insurance info etc. Solid experience and made me glad I didn't jump to another carrier for a buy out or more enticing deal for new customers vs current. BE PREPARED TO BE SCAMMED AND LIED TO: We went to get service for my hotspot device. We just needed a SIM card for our hotspot device so we can have internet while RVing (which is very frequent). We were "helped" by the manager named Frank. He convinced us of transferring all our phone lines to AT&T (we have 4 phone lines). We were paying $115 monthly for all four lines and included international (45 other countries besides Mexico and Canada) calls and 10 GB of hotspot in one of those lines. We made the change and got the SIM card for our hotspot and our phones. He told us that there was an special deal for us: if we change our phone service with them we will be paying around $125 dollars for all four lines including the 10 GB of hotspot and same international calls capabilities, but we will be getting a $600 reimbursement for switching over to AT&T. Therefore, paying between $60 and $70 dollars per month for the first year. He promised us that there service was going to be so good that we will never leave AT&T. Our first bill came for $350 dollars and the following month $500 and the following over $700. They were charging me for international calls (which supposedly was included) activation fees, taxes and more fees. We never received the $600 dollar of reimbursement and cancelled on the third month. All of our devices were owned outright by us. We did not buy or owed any of our devices and transferred our numbers (our phone numbers are with us for over 20 years). Nevertheless, when we transferred out, after cancelling our service with AT&T, they had blocked our numbers and our devices to only work with AT&T. After calling many AT&T customer services, lots of frustrations and dealing with unprofessional personnel, we finally got them to release our phone numbers and phones but still blocked and took ownership of our hotspot and nowt it can only be use with AT&T. Our hotspot (which we own outright) now is useless and can only be use with AT&T network. In other words: they lied, frustrated us, overcharge us and stole our hotspot device!!!! read more

Absolute worst experience!!! I was quoted a price and made the purchase of 2 phones and a new line. It was a busy day and I checked out and left quickly to give the other waiting patrons a chance to be seen. When I checked the receipt, I was charged significantly more than I was promised. I returned to the store to an unsympathetic manager (Aria) who said that I was misinformed by her employee and started stating policy. She said that she would not honor what they promised. I then asked to speak to her manager. She went to the back room and called Gabriel Martinez. He told her to give me his email as he chose not to speak to me. I emailed him and have not yet received a response. I should have checked the receipt before I left, however I trusted that AT&T would honor their agreements. I was wrong. Buyer beware. Update: I received a call from the "presidents office" only after I filed a complaint from the Better Business Bureau. The individual I spoke to started stating policy and said there was nothing that she could do. She said that she is not responsible for what happens in the individual retail stores and did not offer any solutions. She stated that even though she worked in the presidents office, she had no autonomy to make any decisions. Is seemed that she really did not care and was only calling to check me off her "to do" list. Very disappointing....again. read more

Went in with my boyfriend because he wanted to upgrade his iPhone 4s to an iPhone 7 plus. The employee helping us, Priscilla, was trying to get us to buy a screen protector. She promised that upon buying this screen protector, we would be guaranteed a life-time supply of replacement iPhones if his new iPhone were to get a cracked screen. Obviously, we thought it was too good to be true so we did some digging. It turns out that the offer of his iPhone getting replaced is only valid for ONE year and not for a life-time. She did not seem that apologetic so she probably lied on purpose to get us to purchase it. This is an untrustworthy store and it'd be much safer to go to an OFFICIAL AT&T store!! We had already been to the Apple store twice, and got the run around, including 2-3 hour waits and put off until the warranty expired so they could try to charge $280 just to test it. So we went to this AT&T store, where we were immediately greeted by John. John told us that we could use the insurance coverage and walked us through the claim process. This is the worse place! If you are looking for customer service this is not the place. I arrived to return 2 phones at 7:35p (the store closes at 8:00p). I was the only person in the store. The phones I was returning was part of a promotion for 2 new phones that I purchased in May. As I walked in, I was approached by a salesman who stated to me, "you realize we are about to close". As I looked at my watch, I said yes in about 25 minutes. I then proceeded to say, I am needing to return 2 phones as part the new phone promotion. He then takes the phone and says the phone needs to be cleared before I can accept it. The phones I was returning needed to be charged to clear the data. This took a few minutes to charge. As we waited for the phone to charge, he looked at my account and asked where I had purchased the phone at? I told him, I purchased the phone here. He asked what about the other phones that you purchased? I said, those I purchased at a different location. He asked, why didn't you go back to that location to return it. From then on I was told over, and over, and over and over again that they were closing. Every statement this salesman said included the phrase "we are closing". I can't help you because "we are closing". He stated, They were closing and he needed to get home to his kids. That I should've come in earlier to take care of this as he has kids to get home too. I said, I am in customer service I've arrived at the store 25 mins prior to you closing. This is plenty of time to assist the "customer". He stated again I have kids I need to get home too. Meanwhile, He is unable to assist me because his kids continue to call him no less than three times while I was in the store. He had no problem answering the phone to speak to them each time and I was expected to wait while he attended to his calls. I truly wouldn't mind him speaking to his kids and attending to them. But I was treated so rude and poorly because I was inconveniencing him for walking in 25 minutes prior to closing. He did everything he could to not help me. Repeatedly telling me that they were closing. He approached me with his belongings (backpack) and told me that I needed to leave because they were closed, he was walking out and was not able to help me. He stated for me to call 611 customer service and have them send me a box to put it in the mail because he couldn't help me because they were closed and he needed to leave. He refuse to give me his or his managers name. I even said to him this is the worse customer service I have ever experienced. He looked at me with a smirk and said oh well, sorry you feel that way. I recently purchased a Apple Watch for myself, and my wife while upgrading my iPhone to the 11 pro. Three days later I start having issues with my Apple Watch so I call the store to schedule an appointment. They take my appointment and I go into this location. Upon entering and discussing the issue I am told that they can do NOTHING to help. They told me I could return my Apple Watch, get charged $55 and purchase a new one and pay for it again. This is UNACCEPTABLE!!!!! I call att and tell them what is going on and they let me know this is not their policy and they are going to call the store. They call the store, get told the same thing that was told me to and after corporate explained that is not the policy they told corporate that is all they can do. This is the worst store ever!!! I imagine based on what happened to me this franchise takes pride in stealing from people and taking advantage of people who are not willing to take the time to investigate. If I could rate this store less then a 1 I would. BEST ATT EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD! I walked in the store pretty irritable after going through 1604 traffic, for over an hour. I was graciously helped by Dana. She helped me decide which phone was best for my needs. I wanted the new iPhone in silver, but they didn't have it in their online inventory! SO, Dana went to the back and checked through all of their new inventory to find the phone I wanted. Let me tell you, I am an indecisive person. She gave me the option for store credit with my trade-in, then proceeded to let me try all of the phone cases I was interested in on her personal phone. UMM YES! SO HELPFUL! Well the story does not end here. I went home to restore the contents of my old phone to my new phone. My computer was not letting that happen. So Dana kept in contact with me for days trying to get all my info transferred to the iCloud. It has been one week since getting a new phone and I finally have my phone restored. That is how patient she was with me... She waited SEVEN DAYS for me to get everything in order. Go to this store and go hang out with Dana! Shes awesome and super helpful! This time when I was looking for a new phone, Brian, the sales clerk was interested more in clocking out for lunch then helping me. Another sales clerk was able to answer all my questions, but said I would have to go through Brian for his commission. I walked out and came back a little later to ask a question about my bill and was greeted with rudeness and a chuckle from Brian on my authorization status as an AT&T customer. I was both embarrassed and angry. I attempted to reach out to the manager to resolve this issue in a calm manner, but my message was not passed on. I made the order at 6 and called the store to confirm and ask if it was ok to pick up the order at that time and the woman who answered had said yes. So, As my girlfriend and I got to the curbside to pick up the phone 10 minutes before 7pm, We waited till 7:10 for it. The Store closes at 7 and no phone was received. As the employees were walking out of the store, I got out of my car and asked... "where is my phone?" I got an email confirmation that it was going to be ready for pickup at 7." The woman responded back to me saying "oh no order was received and were closed sorry come back tomorrow". I've been a PLATINUM customer for 10 plus years. I had added an additional line for my fiancé who was transferring from T-MOBILE due to the fact of how much I praised AT&T and their great service which was why she made the choice to switch. With this experience And especially through these crucial times With covid-19, I am sure there isn't much sales coming in. And by this experience, she already has a bad taste of how this phone company treats their customers. Honestly if i were you, I wouldn't bother coming to this location.
