I love Spectrum! We have used them ever since they put fiber cable in Grey Forest. I just now took a Speed test reading from my iPhone and this the norm here (362 mbps). Hardwire your computer to them and you'll get more. Spectrum comes out to our house if something can't be fixed from their end (I do believe we pay a little extra for that- well for it). I buy my own equipment and that stopped a lot of the issues we used to have and I get a lot further coverage. Just a little more and you'll get the best WiFi around (unless there is a new company I'm not aware of). My wife pays the bill so I'm not sure what we pay but I believe it's in the $79 a month range for WiFi only. It's been a been a while but ATT called awhile back and wanted our business. They offered me a price a little lower than Spectrums BUT get this .... they were going to install Wifi that was only 4 mbps I'm not sure what runs on 4 Mbps these days so - Hopefully they have gotten fiber by now for their ATT customers! Yes, we have our problems occasionally but they get on it and it's repaired within a reasonable time according to the problem. read more

Buyer Beware!!! When you close your account with Spectrum in the middle of your billing cycle, the monies you have paid are gone. They will not refund you the balance of the unused service. I told the customer service rep that even with business like trash pick up if you close your account in the middle of the billing cycle, you will get back a prorated amount. The rep told me that that is not how Spectrum is setup. Unfortunately, One Star is the lowest I can rate them. I would rate them even lower than One Star if I could. read more

I'm new Spectrum but not my choice by force because The Palazzo charges $80 per month for cable and internet package they have with Spectrum. So, after many years of great service of AT&T, I had to cancel to not pay for the same services with two different providers. Upon entering, I was politely greeted and immediately assisted with starting my services. The process was quick and the self-installation was easy; however, I did have to contact customer service. I'm used to the router already having the the name and password; however, I had to call and tell them what I wanted my router name and password to be. This information isn't available on the Spectrum app as I was told by customer service. The issue I have is with their cable package because I do not have the recommended Roku TV nor any gaming systems as suggested by customer service to get the full experience. I was told to purchase other devices so that I may get all of the channels. I do have two new LG TVs and I'm able to download some of the channels and sign in; however, it defeats the purpose of paying for a service that I can't fully enjoy. And I will not be not be purchasing anything. Anyway, the internet works perfectly and this was my only worry because I've never experienced slow data speeds with AT&T nor any issues for that matter. This location does not have equipment. Don't waste you time going here and waiting in line to be told they don't. Also don't bother trying to call the location before you drive there, you will never get ahold of a specific location, just a call center, and after you go through their phone tree and wait on hold you will be told they don't have access to what equipment is available in the individual stores. I came in to Spectrum to turn in a unused cable box. There was several customers already waiting in the lobby area. They asked me to check in using a set up tablet that did not work properly. I waited 25 mins to be seen. There was only 3 staff that I could see working there, but one just walked around not helping anyone. Very disappointing for someone that has been paying so much money each month for cable and internet. Its time to cut the cable wire. This visit confirmed it for me!!!!! I was canceling a cable service and internet for a ridiculous price increase. I told the reps online and in store when I was well enough to return equipment that I was not going to pay that insane increase and they never suggested that I should hold onto the old equipment because I would have to pay for the entire billing cycle. That is terrible customer service and no one especially those of us DOD employees who don't receive a bill just make sure we pay on time. The management person I spoke to was Asia and insisted their was no one higher in management that I could speak with. I would never recommend anyone using their services especially if military or DOD employees. I went as soon as I could to return equipment and still in pain from surgery and the customer service representative should have advised me to keep old equipment because spectrum would not prorate their insane service fees. Don't waste your money with SPECTRUM cable services as it is the worse service I have ever received. Always out, recordings not always complete. You can find better service for a fraction of their prices. I wouldn't give them one star. read more

I walked in and headed towards who I thought was a representative, but he was quick to dismiss me and direct another guy to take care of me (Apparently he was the mAnAgEr, and his name was David Soliz) the next 15 minutes he is chit chatting with another customer that another representative is helping. I'm being taken care of when a new customer walks in and stands in line (meaning he was the only one standing there). The manager doesn't even bat an eye and keeps talking to the other customer about football.... The only thing standing between the new customer and the manager is air and he never even acknowledged his presence by greeting him... needless to say helping him is not an option. The customer stands there for about 10 minutes and I saw him getting frustrated until I told him that if I was him I would've already thrown the modem he was carrying. The customer finally says something but the answer from the manager was "you have to sign in and then one of them two (the other representatives) will help you. I'm not sure if customer service is beneath David or if he was never taught manners. It's the first time I see him, so I can't say it's a trend for him, but it is most definitely a trend with spectrum from my experience. The only thing preventing me from leaving them and their poor service is that I have no other internet provider where I live. As soon as this changes I am dropping them... Spectrum is the worst!! They let anyone open an account using your info i only found out about it cause of credit karma... why don't ya check id's that match the name of your social!? Always giving me a number to call and all say the same thing "we can't give you any information because it's not your account" like what do you mean THAT'S MY INFORMATION! BEWARE OF Spectrum's shady billing tactics. My 12 month promotion ran out and my standalone internet bill was raised 25$. I did not notice the increase for this billing month until a week into the billing cycle. I called AT&T and they offered me a way lower rate, for FIBER. I planned to cancel with Spectrum until I found out they do NOT prorate the unused days of your cycle. Meaning if you're next cycle starts on the first and you want to cancel on the 7th and get a refund for the remaining 23 days, THEY WILL NOT credit you. If you go 1 day into a billing cycle and want to cancel you have to pay for the WHOLE month. Spectrum is 1 or 2 of the only Internet companies that has this policy, which they put into effect 2019 and there is a bill in legislature right now contesting it and possibly reverting them back to crediting customers for unused days. This business practice they put into effect in 2019 is borderline thievery. You should be able to not pay for days you have not used for the month you are charged if you are canceling. read more
