DO NOT USE. Predatory business practices. This store tricked an elderly relative who went there to upgrade an old iPhone into thousands of dollars of devices and services. Instead of helping upgrade an existing device, they sold her a second device, multiple Apple Watches, 4 brand new phone lines, various insurance plans for devices that don't exist, and put all of it on payment plans. The manager lacked knowledge in the phone service industry and how to treat customers with respect. His employee Ryan lied, upgraded my service without me knowing, and when I came in days later the manager attempted to also lie to me. When I did not accept his lies, he then was very rude. He was no help at all, and quite frankly the way this store is run is a complete joke. They do not deserve to be in business, and you will be better off going to the South Brentwood location, where the workers actually know what they are doing and know how to treat their customers. Eddie was super patient, went through several things with my phone that didn't work and finally replaced my eSIM card and everything started working again. Never buy an IPhone outright from them because you will not be able to choose to leave them and go to another company! They will lock the phone that you "own" and have paid them $900 upfront with " no contracts" and tell you they will keep your phone locked for 6 months and you can't do anything about it! I went to the Kirkwood ATT store to open a new line for my daughter. Mason was the CSR I dealt with. Initially, he seemed knowledgeable and said he was going to save me money. That's not at all what happened: Mason said he could apply my veterans discount after visiting him face to face, twice. He never set it up, and I now have to prove my veterans status at another store. He set up a new DirecTV service with more channels, but he didn't set up the actual appointment that I waited 4 hours at home for. Upon calling DirecTV, they said there is a 60 day grace period to get a new service, so we couldn't do it anyway. He set up new a phone line, but he didn't set it up with the technician that delivered the phone who also said that Mason didn't set up the order form correctly. He was supposed to disable the 2 extra phone lines we didn't know about (this was our fault we didn't notice it) and he claimed to have canceled the lines twice. The second time I went to the store to get them cancelled he said it would take 24-48 hours to show as cancelled and then I'd have to call ATT to double check. He offered to call, but I couldn't trust he would. I called ATT 48 hours later and found he didn't cancel the lines and they were able to cancel them immediately. He also added the mid tier phone insurance without asking me, which was caught by the technician that delivered my new phone. The technician that delivered the phone and ATT customer service rep. Tatiana, who I spoke with over the phone, were excellent in helping me remedy the situation. I'm not sure what is going on with Mason, he gave me his personal number so I am not sure if he was commission hungry or inept, but if I didn't persist he would have cost me way more than he claimed to save me. Keep all the paperwork they write on and double check whatever the offer. I'm not sure about the whole store, but I'd be careful anyway. read more

I went into the store after I got off work, around 5:30 pm. I upgraded my phone more than 30 days ago and was never given any return labels to trade in my old phone so I thought I would just take it into the store. HORRIBLE customer service. The store staff, named Nay, seldomly looked up from her phone to talk to me. They remained sitting in the chair, again continuing to stare at their phone. They asked what I needed so I proceeded to tell them. They said there was no way they would accept it back being over 30 days. I asked if they could look it up since it was on the verge of that time period, after 5-10 minutes of them saying they would not trade it in. They asked for my license. I had difficulty getting it out of my protector case. They said they needed it because they had to scan it, but very rudely said. I was told that they would not take it back, it had been past 30 days. Although that was not the news I wanted to hear and was given really poor communication on trading it in after getting in the mail, it was the horrible customer service I received that will never take me back to that store again. read more

Signed up for AT&T service at this store last Friday. Got some wrong info from the sales associate and on 3 separate occasions she said she would find out why their Ready To Go install team failed to show up, each time saying she would call me back and never did. When I called the main number of AT&T and cancelled the service I asked if I could return the box to the store and they said yes. When I did so the manager said they would charge a restocking fee of $55 if I did not otherwise take it to the post office and mail it. So much for their full refund if you cancel within 14 days (in my case it was within 6 days. All in all just a terrible customer experience from this store. read more

I've never been disappointed by the knowledge, patience and friendliness of the associates. At this location. Today I upgraded my iPhone 5s to a 6 Plus and got a new iPad Pro. MIKE MAAG (Friendly Expert) was VERY knowledgeable and helpful and was able to answer every question I had regarding video, compression, syncing, editing, etc. He was incredible and fun to work with too. If you are lucky enough to arrive at the store while it is open, the employees are smoking outside by the front door. The competitor gave us horrible customer services for 3 years, However they have treated our insignificant prepaid accounts with the most respect and dignity. You know what I realized today when we were there? Our household has 3 separate accounts with them and I've been along for them all as they get service or questions answered. Every time we are there, it's the same workers there over the last few years. Unlike their competition from whence we came, where so many problems were caused because they always had new people taking the place of those who had quit, the guys working at this ATT location know what they are doing. I went for a simple change out of my phone. Kenneth was quick to help, but that's where his customer service stopped. He was not friendly, not patient, dismissive, curt and flat. When I asked him to slow down and be nicer, he copped an attitude. The manager wasn't much help, either. A good manager would have removed Kenneth from the interaction, taken care of me himself, and then asked me how Kenneth was not being helpful. He didn't do any of those things. Customer service is a critical skill. Kenneth may be nicer with others, but with me he did not have the personality that is appropriate for a service industry like AT&T. Just went to this store for help with my iPad that needed a new Sim Card. I had spent an hour w/an AT&T representative on the phone yesterday "troubleshooting" why I couldn't connect to the cellular data that I pay $25.00 per month and rarely use. The Rep said for me to go to an AT&T store for a new Sim Card, and she said it would NOT cost anything. She put notes to that effect in my file. When I went to this store in Kirkwood, where I have purchased at least 2 iPhones, 3 employees were sitting on stools. A tall Hispanic man told me I might have to wait in the car. He asked me what I needed. I told him the story , and I relayed to him it was free. He said, No, it is $10. I said check customer service. He then said rudely that store wasn't "Corporate". He then wouldn't look up the nearest Corporate Store. I actually think he was going to pocket the $$. When I found another store, that guy said that the cards are $5.00. I will call the manager. Manager was helpful. Customer service/sales rep was more interested in selling me cable, rather than helping with the problem I came in there with. Looked at me like I was stupid when I said I don't have nor want cable. Then I left and my data plan was switched. Had to call AT&T customer service to switch it. I went in to get my phone traded in for an upgrade, after customer service told me i could after having countless issues with my iPhone 4s. Which no one bothered to tell me that I could have traded it in with my warranty. Non the less after speaking to a store associate she finds the tiniest mark on my phone which customer service told me wouldn't be an issue, takes it to her manager, I noticed she kept going back and forth to ask him everything so I asked to speak to the manager who said he'd be there in a minute. 5-20 minutes later of him standing idly at the door. Lucas the manager walks over, doesn't introduce himself, just walks over looking at his iPad (he could have stayed home for that) so I introduced myself and explained everything, and he just replied there is nothing I can do, I decided to keep explaining since he didn't seem to really be paying attention again no real help except your notes from ATT are not detailed. I asked him if there is someone he could call as he didn't seem to really have any answers. His associate seemed to be trying more than he was by actually coming up with better solutions. After I finish talking to the people on line(customer service) I might just decide it's time to leave ATT all together.
