Incompetent high strung staff. Waited here for 30 minutes. Each person that walked in was asked to put their name on the wait list. The staff was picking people at a random completely disregarding the list. In the 30 minutes I was there, I saw one person whom checked the list as other staff members just picked the most recent person to walk in. Who does that? Forget unorganized for a second. Please make that make sense. Fyi there is a call ahead list on a screen in the back right of the store. This was not that. This was pure stress and unorganized incompetent staff. read more

Jessie was very helpful and knowledgeable. He was able to transfer us from our old carrier to AT&T easily. We received three new phones and even added hotspot and insurance for the same price as our old carrier. So now we all three have new phones and mobile hotspot that we did not have with our old carrier. So far signal strength also seems better but have not noticed a great change. read more

We were coherenced into switching to this provider by a door to door salesman. Promised gift cards to pay off our prior carrier balance. The eta was 6-8 weeks. It's been 16 weeks and we are being taken to collections. I've made appointments to be called back, no help. Called the store, they advised to come in for help. Get to the store and all they can give us is a phone number to schedule an appointment. Don't let them carelessly install your screen protector. I thought it was part of the process when I went to get mine screen protector replaced that they take care of the install but apparently it's optional. So today, the guy gave me back my phone and it had a piece of dust under the side and then a couple of bubbles over smaller bits of dust. I showed him and he tried to redo it, but it was just poorly done. Then he and the other guy that was asked were of no help, they didn't care that they couldn't take the time to properly install it, and wouldn't replace it. Terrible service! Pretty sure a worker lied and said it was his store before telling us to leave. He was incredibly rude as soon as we walked in and my husband stood up for himself while the employee kept antagonizing us. I don't know how this behavior is acceptable especially since he said he was a manager. I looked online and apparently the managers name is Angel but that was not the guy we spoke to. read more

I came to this AT&T needing to trade a phone after recently buying a higher model of IPhone. I just recently moved, and this isn't the AT&T that I would normally go to and was expecting this store to be as bad as the others. This was not the case at all! I was helped very fast (in relation to how many customers were in the store), there were so many workers to help customers (i normally see 1-3 workers at any other service store), and the workers were extremely, extremely helpful. I was able to get my phone traded in very quickly, the worker understood my needs very well, and I got the trade-in value that I was offered at another store altogether. If you need to go to an AT&T and want great service, this would definitely be worth a little extra of a drive. read more

Marco came to my home to sell me service to att, he was nice accommodating and answered all my questions. He told me the promotion going on was for every line you bring over to att you would get a $200 gift card, for me that was 4 lines so $800! I said that's great, and I made sure that he actually meant that he kept telling me yes, each line will be $200. So naturally once we switched over, and I didn't see my gift cards in the mail, I contacted Marco. He then explained a totally different promotion that its actually only $200 total that I would be getting since we only bought 1 new phone through them, to which I said that was not what you told me in the beginning, so I'm confused. He then stopped answering me, I got a little forceful, so he put me in touch with his supervisor who tried to make it right. We ended the conversation with he would just be sending me a gift card to be done with it. From the time I had that phone call, to the time where I physically got my cards had only been a few months, maybe 3? When I opened the cards that I finally received, on November 1st, it said they were expired as of October! Such bullshit, after all the back and forth and them finally sending something, they are going to have it expire in just 3 or 4 months?! Don't bother switching to them, once they get what they want they stop communicating with you and it not worth the headache. I once again, need to search for another cell provider. read more

Scheduled an appointment to take care of a few things related to our AT&T wireless account and the teacher appreciation offer we wanted to finish up with an associate, in person. Amber was GREAT! She even told us about their buyback program and we got new iphone 12s with a HUGE discount! Great service at the Kyle location. I would never recommend buying your phone through this carrier. Bought an iPhone 14 pro max on 06/23/23 the phone stopped working 7/12/2023. They have a 14 day return and would not accept mine. Took it to apple and was informed to never buy a phone from the carrier. If I would have bought directly from apple they would have been able to return the phone. Because I bought from the AT&T store I am stuck with a 1200 phone that is less than a month old that now has been "repaired" and has broken the water resistant seal. Do not buy your phone here go to Apple or Costco. read more

The only thing I will comment on is the complete lack of a process when entering the store. There's no line to get into, there's nothing to sign your name on. Switched from Sprint to AT&T - was helped by Andy who was professional, personable and helpful! Purchased the new iPhone 11 and was told if I turn my old device in, which was a Samsung Galaxy S7, I would get a $700 credit to my account, which was almost the cost of the new iPhone 11, meaning my monthly installment fee would be practically nothing. I opted to pay the extra $5 per month so I could upgrade my iPhone sooner without having to fully pay for the device I'm currently using, since my bill would be so low. Went to trade in my old device today and was told it was only worth $35. My monthly installment fee is still affordable, coming in at less than $30, but I was pretty disappointed I was given inaccurate information. Maybe it was a simple mix-up between the trade-in value of the S8 v. S7, but $700 is significantly more than $35. Overall, I'm happy with my new phone and the carrier. Andy was great, but I wish the store location would have honored what was quoted to me. Every dollar counts, especially amidst this whole COVID-19 situation. read more

Had a very positive experience here thanks to Kyle. My 4s was on its last legs, and we'd heard about an offer they were running for Direct TV customers. We have been long time Verizon customers but even with my corporate discount, our bill would be $70 less, even with the monthly payment for my new 6s. Kyle was very patient. I don't make these decisions lightly or easily. He answered my million questions in language I understood and made sure info on my old phone was completely transferred and there were no issues with the upgrade to IOS 9.0. First let me state this. My wife no longer goes with me into cell phone stores because of the great AT&T San Marcos blow-up of 2002. That blow up sparked me leaving AT&T for Sprint... then I think I jumped to Cingular and when they were bought out by AT&T back again. I am pretty simple to deal with.. but I have certain beliefs about cell phones. Biggest being I don't think someone should have to pay for their phone. I think, if I'm paying over $100 a month to use your service...and only your service... the item I need in order to use that service should not cost me anything. So I can be a big pain in the behind. I digress, My iphone 4 was acting up. I wasn't able to get an internet connection unless I was directly connected to a wireless signal. That meant I couldn't play Zynga Poker while getting an oil change. Unacceptable. So.. I gathered up all my strength to go into the AT&T store to get it fixed, thinking this was just a half-step to them telling me I had to make an appointment to the Apple Store at The Domain. It was a bit busy.. so I got checked in and started waiting. Saw my year-old phone was still the 99¢ option w/ two year deal and was a little pleased with myself for picking something that wasn't already outdated by sales standards. Well.. when the lady helped me out, she listened to me and immediately said she'd try changing out the SIM card and if that didn't work I'd have to make that journey to The Domain I so dreaded. She also looked at my plan and let me know they just launched a new deal that would save me about $30 a month on my plan... AND get me more data minutes and unlimited calling. That blew me away. I would have NEVER known about the lower cost if it hadn't been for her. I jumped on it after finding out it didn't extend my contract AND it worked just fine with my AT&T discount I get through work. Bonus is.. changing the SIM card worked... so my phone was fixed... didn't cost me a penny and now I am being charged $30 a month less to have better service. ALSO.. found out I could add my 9 year-old to the plan for $15 a month if we provide the phone and decide she's ready for that responsibility. Great information. Great service. There haven't been any recent reviews and probably for good reason, very poor customer service. We had an appointment and waited 45 minutes. During that time, we were asked if we had an appt. no greeting, didn't ask name just walked away. Okay. People came in after us and were seen next. Ok, maybe they had an earlier appt. It was now 10 min til closing time, they locked the doors and all the workers went to the back. Nothing was said and we had to let ourselves out. We are stuck with AT&T because of work but their sales reps are rude and inconsiderate. Get some proper customer service training or better yet don't work in customer service. read more

This location gives AT&T a bad name and I believe that if the corporate office knew how they behaved it would change. My husband and I have been customers for years and had decided to buy 2 new phones. Customer service there is horrible and the young man that waited on us had no ability to forward think ie problem solve. My husband had his wallet stolen two days earlier and they absolutely refused to do business with us. Twelve hundred dollars in phone cost not counting service! I would fire him as his boss. So what I did was call the corporate office and they were able to set me up as a user for my husbands number. That's it that's all it took. But now I wouldn't give them a dollar. read more

I'm not even sure where to start with our review. Honestly it's multiple parts and also involves the corporate customer service, but overall our terrible experience ended at this store. Long story short: I recently switched to my husbands family plan. Because we added a line, we qualified for a BOGO promotion that allowed him to get a new phone for "free" (really a $700 credit to a new phone - still not bad!). We spent 3 hours on the phone with customer service working to get my new line added as well as process the BOGO deal and get the discount. Miraculously as they were about to take his payment information (to pay for the taxes) the phone call dropped - I say miraculously because it also happened to be right at 8:00pm which is when their business hours end. Fast forward two days (we had to put the process on hold because we went to visit family for Christmas), and we decide to go to this AT&T store to try and get it sorted out. We walk in, explain to the very nice employee (he was actually super helpful and this review is in no way pointed at him) the situation and of course he doesn't really have much power or say so, so he lets us know he's going to talk to the manager. Just so you know, the manager is literally sitting one table over and we can hear and see the entire interaction happening. The employee comes back and says "oh you don't qualify because you did not open a new line" to which we respond, yes we absolutely opened a new line - we had five lines, now we have six. He goes back to the manager to explain and the manager just looks at him and says "no", so at this point I look over and let him know that putting the burden on this poor employee to keep going back and forth is ridiculous.. so he gets up and comes over. We explain to him the exact situation and he just keeps saying "you don't qualify" blah, blah, blah. FINALLY after about 6 tries, it actually clicks and he realizes we do qualify and then his story changes to the promotion is over and there's nothing they can do. Even with all of the notes listed on our account, it's all there that we tried to complete the transaction, he still refuses. I'm pretty upset at this point and tell him I would like the contact info for his manager. He disappears to the back for a solid 10 minutes and comes out saying that he spoke to his manager and the best they can do is give my husband a new iPhone 6S Plus. Surprise, surprise folks, my husband has the 6S Plus - that's what he's trying to upgrade. He also says he can give us other free phone options, none of which are iPhones or better than what we already have. We say no thank you, we'd still like to talk to the regional manager. Then I get everyone's favorite response: "oh we'll take your info and he'll call you" bs. Here we are almost 2 weeks later and I have yet to hear from Armando, the regional manager. TL;DR: DO NOT GO HERE. The service is terrible. The manager is extremely rude, condescending, uneducated, dishonest and will do everything in his power NOT to help you. I would have rated 0 stars if it would have allowed me to. I don't know where they found the store manager, Tony Leon, but they need to take him back because he sucks at his job. read more

Last Saturday I visited this location to purchase a new phone because mine was out of memory and about 4 years old, which is ancient in technology time. I really did not want to pay for a new phone though because, other than the memory issue, the phone still performs every function very well. Franklin was the Customer Service Rep who introduced himself to me, as he came to open the door for me, and I explained my need and why. He took a look at my phone and explained that I could expand my memory storage easily on this model. He retrieved a memory card for me, placed it in my phone, and walked me through how to move all my photographs to the card so I could clear up my memory. Worked liked a charm and I saved money. I want to be clear that he did not treat me like the technologically challenged person that I am, and instead he smiled, made me laugh, and encouraged me. Well done, Franklin! Thank you so much. Totally suprised by how unhelpful the employees were today. I was told to get warranty service, I'd have to go to either Research in North Austin or to San Antonio. Didn't even look to see if they could do anything to fix the phone. NOTHING!!! :( In the past, they'd have at least opened the phone and visually inspected it to see if it was a sim card or battery issue, but not today! Guess the "hostess" didn't have time to help me today - she acted put out the entire time I'm talking to her and kept making weird eye contact with someone behind me in line. Boo on AT&T! we wanted to update our mobil phones so the first p-lace we looked to was AT&T dont know if they have a high employee turnover rate but we got a person who we had never seen before in that store, explained to her we wanted to upgrade the phones but keep the service charges to approx what we are paying now , do you have any specials i asked? NO was the reply . the price quoted for monthy service was way more than what we budgeted for. after diddling with some of latest models and not getting a favourable price for either the phone of the service we decided to try elsewhere . i was informed on a later date BY AT&T that they do have a discount program for existing customers we have been with the company for over 8 years and he tried to get us to come back sorry wont do that am happy with what we have now, if you snooze you loss AT&T just sneezed a big one see my review of METRO pcs ... read more

I have come to the Kyle location several times before but have left every time because I was never acknowledged. Today I came in a little after 10 and once again was not acknowledged for the first few minutes. I don't mind waiting but at least acknowledge me. I came in to see if I could get a new phone because my galexy s7 that I've only had for 3 months was acting up. I have insurance on the phone and was told by the Spring AT&T store upon signing up that insurance would cover the replacement. I was told by the Kyle store today that I would have to pay a $100- $200 deductible or purchase warranty to get a new phone. Not what they made it seem like when I got the phone. I am going back to Verizon after my contract is up. Overall AT&T has provided poor cell service and poor retail service. read more

So, I bought a new phone from this store and within the first 12 days of ownership it bricked. AT&T customer service directed me back to this store to swap it out. At the store the manager told me AT&T customer service is wrong and I had to go to an apple store (5s). I argued, offered to call AT&T for them but they insisted I had to go to the nearest apple store (25 miles away). As anyone with a brain could guess, at the apple store they told me they could sell me a new one, but because I didn't buy it from them they could not help me. I then left (AT&T customer service told me to go to another store) and I did. 20 min later I left with a new phone. Bottom line is the Kyle store is incompetent, immoral or both.
