Lady with long brown hair wouldn't help me (9/22/2025 at 1:45 pm) and told me I can not buy phones with an upgrade/trade-in at AT&T reseller stores and instead I have to call customer service and do my upgrade and trade in on the phone or a corporate owned store. Is that real? Seems crazy that resellers can't sell phones. Either you really can't buy phones at this location or she didn't want to help me because I had some dirt/grease on my face and was sweaty. I surely didn't look like I could afford a phone to her or at least didn't look Lakeway wealthy. I had a flat tire on my way to the store and had to replace the tire---hence some grease on my forehead and nose and sweat on my shirt. Whatever the reason, I'll never visit this store again for my iPhones and iPads. read more

The lady helping, Niurka, and her manager whose name I didn't catch said I couldn't order a new phone without a card that swipes with a physical CVV. Both of my physical credit cards don't have a CVV associated with the card. I payed off the balance of my phone with tap to pay but couldn't use it for the taxes and delivery for the new phone for some dumb reason. She advised me to go buy a gift card and try that, after going to buy one and paying the $7 activation fee, I came back and the system still wouldn't let me pay for the taxes on shipping the new phone. They even said they had the phone I was trying to order at the store but they were only able to give it to new lines/customers. As someone with an account with AT&T for over 30 years and has given them 10's of thousands of dollars, I felt like I was treated with less priority than someone who has never had a line. She told me unless I start a new phone line and get a new phone number I can't buy the phones they have in store. Wasted about 2.5 hours of my day, and $7 for the activation of the gift card that she advised. She also had a children's Disney show blasting in the small store and she couldn't help but sing along and pay more attention to the show than me, the customer. Very unprofessional experience, I then drove to the Apple Store and spent the rest of my day buying and setting up the phone there. I will not be returning to this location for any accessories or getting a new phone in the future. read more

Upgraded to new iPhone 13 pro, installation took several hours and had to come back to get phone. Even then, the installation was incomplete, have had several issues with apps not working, incomplete syncing of information. Also several of the employees are just rude and pretty worthless. I feel like as a customer, I'm wasting their time. Not great when their business is sales and service. read more

I should have read some of these reviews. The associate I worked with named Tony completely lied to me and scammed me to close a sale. My phone screen was cracked and the bottom half of my screen wasn't working (clickable but doesnt display), so I decided to buy a new phone and stopped by this AT&T store. I looked around and he helped me with my order. As we were going through, he asked if I wanted to trade in my phone, and I showed him my cracked phone and assumed it wouldn't be possible. He informed me that the phone IS eligible for a $800 trade in, and told me I just needed to wipe it and bring it back. I confirmed with him TWICE though the conversation to ensure that I would be getting the $800 credit from trading in my device which he confirmed. Fast forward to today (26 days after purchase), Tony is gone apparently and the associate tells me due to the cracked screen they're unable to accept the trade in. The reasoning was that they're unable to unlock the phone because it's not set up as it's been reset. This is due to the fact that THEY had asked me to wipe and reset the phone. Now they're telling me I can't get the credit due to THEIR error and their associates lying to close sales. The associate helping me today told me I can get the screen repaired then bring it back. This was NOT what was discussed when I was buying the phone, but now all of that doesn't matter since it seems like they truly do not care about customers after they've made the sales. Now I have to pay extra to get the phone screen replaced in order to get the credit they had originally promised. I also have to spend extra time getting the screen fixed. If this was a requirement for the trade in I would've just stuck to my old phone. I highly suggest staying away from this store. If you do stop by know that they're there to just make sales and will lie to you. read more

This is a follow up to my last review and seeing all the negative reviews since then, I definitely feel stupid engaging in business with this store. AT&T should be ashamed of what is going on at this non company owned store. We were promised a $500 gift card when signing up - Taylor said it would arrive in 4-6 weeks but it never did. Called store and was told she had stepped out but in the course of call the employee slipped and admitted Taylor was in. So she screens calls apparently. We were told to call Rewards department which we did and they indicated the store had never submitted for it and they would send it out. The rewards card arrived - $150 instead of the promised $500. So scammed again. We had to get the BBB involved on the first issue - so here we go again. Hopefully corporate will see a pattern and clean house of the management and lies going on here. read more

Came into this store today to see what my options were for upgrading my wireless plan and phone. I spoke with Abigail, who explained that I could upgrade to a plan with much more data, hotspot, and included HBO Max - all for the same price I was paying before. However, we concluded that I was not in a position to fully take advantage of their latest phone upgrade promotion, and that I'd come back later to finalize everything. When I got home 10 minutes later, I get an email saying that my account has been upgraded and that I'll be paying $90 more each month moving forward! I immediately called back and talked to Abigail who did not have a clear answer for my situation and said I would need to call 611 to get it changed back. I've had my wireless account with ATT for almost 20 years, and have not had such a deceptive interaction with an salesperson. read more

Don't buy or sign up for any promotions at this store. After signing up for a promotion-Get an IPhone 10 for $30 for opening new line. 1.5 years later I'm still paying $30 per month instead of $1. They don't honor their promotions. I've been there more than 20 times, talking to 5 different managers and nothing is resolved. I'm actually looking to find out who the owner is so I can sue. I understand that due to Covid they have a limited staff but the girls working didn't even turn to say, "I'll be with you as soon as possible". When I first started doing business with this store I thought it was going to be a positive experience. However, things quickly went south. I had three install appointments where the technician either didn't have the correct order or he didn't show up at all - leaving me hanging and missing time off from work. I was ready to give up when the store manager, Taylor, offered to credit my first month, due to all of the troubles with the install if I still wanted to give it a try. Probably against my better judgement, I decided to make a 4th install appointment. This time the install went smoothly except the phone which wasn't supposed to be switched over yet ended up getting switched prematurely. Our first bill arrives and there is no credit. Furthermore, the phone was twice what we had been quoted. I have been trying for several weeks to get this credit in place as our bill is now past due. I either get no response from the manager, or I am told it is with someone higher that is taking a long time to review. We keep getting told "hopefully by tomorrow," but that never happens. However, there is no way to contact this higher up person as the store refuses to give out the contact. And now it seems they are back pedaling on the credit I was promised and the only reason why I decided to give them a 4th chance to get the fiber installed. I know these days customer service is not important to businesses and the customer is never right, but I am hoping this review might warn others if they are told they will get a credit for incompetent installation, don't hold your breath. And make sure you get everything in writing - as I can tell from the other reviews, there are a lot of promises being made and most not fulfilled. read more

I recommend this ATT location. I purchased a phone for my daughter. Mr. Cedrick took care of me while already taking care of another client because he was the only person there. I guess because they were about to close.. but idk about that. Anyways, he was very prompt, courteous, and informative when dealing with his customers. He even helped me lower my bill! I read other reviews for this location and it seems that the customers need to ask for Cedrick to get top notch service!! read more

Do not use this store. I bought a phone here that never worked and brought it back days later and was told it was defective and there was nothing they could do for me. They said I might try apple which really upset me. I asked to speak to a manager and was told there was not one. I then asked for at o set business cards from Danielle and Connor who were in the store and neither would give them to me. I then called ATT and was told that neither of them would give the ATT agent their ID when the store was called. I am now sitting in the car outside with ATT on the line and they are trying to figure out who they are. I have never been spoke to nor treated like this from a store in my life and would recommend everyone using a different store. read more

THIS IS NOT A REVIEW OF THIS DEALER. IT IS A RVIEW OF ATT-UVERSE REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE. PEC had a power outage on April 10. This cut my internet. April 11 ATT told me I needed a new modem in order to get back online. I got the new modem on May 11. It did not work. ATT Technician came and told me it was the cable under the street that had blown. He was savvy enough to tie me in to a neighbors house and told me that ATT would call when they would come to make a permanent fix. They did not!. Today, the subcontractor to a ATT Contractor came fixed the problem bu in doing the work he broke one of our circuit breakers ( and changed the setting on a pool pump breaker) without telling us. When I called ATT 2 hours later, they told me I had to work thru another contractor of theirs who would process our damage claim. It is for ME to find an electrical contractor and submit a claim and if this new contractor agrees that it is really ATT's fault they would agree to it, perhaps. THIS IS ROTTEN BUSINESS PRACTICE. Their sub-sub contractor made a mistake, they will not send out an electrician to fix it. They want me the customer to do all their work and take on their RISK. This is after we were without internet when the put in their fibre. (They cut us off totally at that time and it took them 7 weeks to fix that). Then they bill you, and their is an increase pof 5% PLUS a double payment requested for the two modems I have, neither of which worked. Bah, they are no longer the respectful, responsible company that they used to be. AGAIN this is the only place I could find to make this complaint. I have been a long time customer of AT&T but not anymore. I went into the AT&T store in Lakeway Texas to try to get my bill lowered. The result was not what I expected. The bill increased over $100 despite me going in and talking to them on four separate occasions. I found the gentleman helping me to be very friendly but not very knowledgeable. I suggest going to T Mobile or another ATT store. read more

Went into this store due to suggestion made by AT&T customer service. Samsung stop taking a charge and it was suggested I go into store and try a demo wireless charger. Was told demo was broken and they were not allowed to open inventory. I explained i would buy it if it worked. Not doing it. I went to Best Buy in which there was no demo to try either. HOWEVER, customer service MUST be Best Buy's priority as the gentlemen assisting me asked which wireless charger I preferred and grabbed one off the shelf, opened the box and proceeded to try and charge my phone. Did not even hesitate to open a new wireless charger and give it a try. Guess what? It worked and I purchased it on the spot. With as much money as I spend on a monthly basis with AT&T you would think opening inventory would be the least they could do. Changing mobile carriers in the near future. I would suggest taking customer service classes from Best Buy. read more
