Unreliable Service and Unacceptable Customer Support As a business owner, I cannot recommend Verizon. For the last three months, our primary business line has been malfunctioning; when clients call, they are told the number is 'disconnected or no longer in service.' We have video proof of this error. Despite contacting Verizon nearly every day for 90 days, the issue remains unresolved. Their only attempt at a fix was providing a Wi-Fi extender, which does not address a network-level disconnection error. This gross technical failure has caused us to lose significant revenue and countless potential clients. To make matters worse, they are making it difficult and expensive to move our service elsewhere. If you rely on your phone for your livelihood, stay away. read more

I love Verizon. Been with Verizon for 10 years. Never had issues with my phone, never had issues with my plan. Always had good customer service in person at the Verizon store. Today I just wanted to get some information about upgrading my phone. After about an hour, I decided a new phone AND, Verizon WiFi at home would be right for me. Unfortunately the Verizon WiFi doesn't work with the phone Jack that I have at home. I'm either going to have to return it. We have a plan that continues to escalate in price. There are just two of us on the plan and nothing fancy - just a basic 5G plan. We have been loyal Verizon customers for years but two years ago were ready to switch when we found we had a lot of dead zones, very poor service when in a crowd, and no service at all in the middle of some major metro areas that we visit frequently. Mother-in-law was having the same issues in another state. Corporate talked us into a 5G phone that would "resolve all of the problems". This couldn't be further from the truth. Just in the two years we have had the new 5G phones our service has crept up another $70 - no changes in plans, nothing. Service is still terrible when in a crowd. All of the AT&T and T-Mobile customers are having no issues. Still dead zones. There are families of four paying less for their service. When I went into the store I was told I had a great deal and nothing better to offer. I pointed out some of the other plans that had rates almost $100 less for our two phones. Kept getting the song and dance about the added fees. Well T-Mobile has one set out the door price. Spectrum also has one set out the door price and just so happens to use Verizon's network. What I have read is that Verizon is focusing more on selling their service to large companies - not individuals. Also was told the Verizon stores are no longer helping customers set up their phones for free? Why pay the extra money for subpar phone service and no customer service? read more

The people who work at this store are great! I do recommend making an appointment because they're usually busy. My appointments have always run on time, and the employees are helpful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I've had on-going problems with cell phone reception since moving to the Austin area. I replaced my iPhone 8 with a new iPhone 13 last year, thinking that might help, but if anything, it's worse now. I consistently have only 1-2 bars and sometimes none. I've been a Verizon customer for many years, but may be forced to find a different carrier. I'm shocked that cellular signal is so low in a large metropolitan area like this. This store, and especially Ciso, is great! AT&T got on my last nerve, so I bought a universally unlocked phone, shopped around for the best deal on service for it, and Verizon won. I tried to activate it online, but since I didn't have a Verizon number, I couldn't sign up for an account. My heart sank, thinking, "Oh, great. I'm going to have to go sit in the phone store for two hours while they do it for me.". After many trips to the AT&T store over my twelve or thirteen years with them, they had me trained to expect the worst. But no! I was in and out in about thirty minutes! Amazing! Ciso greeted me when I walked in and proceeded to get my number ported in no time, even saving me some money by letting me know Verizon would waive the activation fee if I bought an accessory, so I got a great quality extra charger essentially for free! He even let me know about an iPhone they had for cheaper than the phone I'd just bought, but when I realized I'd have to learn a new operating system (I'm used to Android, and am approaching old fart status, so don't much like change), I passed on his offer and he dropped it immediately! None of the hard sell crap I always dreaded at AT&T! I LOVE THAT! Time will tell if I'll like Verizon's cell service, but if it's half as good as Cisco's, I'll be PLENTY happy. read more

It's pretty sad that you purchase a phone charging device new and it last you 2 months and when you try to exchange it they can't help you. They said you have to send it back to the manufacturer but Verizon took your money and they can not help. Why even sell it? Verizon is fake! read more

I dread going to a Verizon store, and I mean dread. I got there at 5:40 and they closed at 7pm, I was thinking in my mind there is no way that I will get what I need done before they close. My normal cellphone store visit in the past has taken 3-4 hours. Gregory helped us and we were in and out of the store in 20 minutes. I'm amazed and so thankful. This store is fabulous! After a month long nightmare dealing with Sprint & Boost we went to Verizon to switch over and FINALLY lucked out by finding Rebecca!! She was incredibly helpful cool calm & collected as we spent over an hour on the phone with sprint to unlock our phones which they never did! She assisted us in purchasing our phones and getting us a new one through Verizon. She even stayed almost an hour after they closed to help us through all this! Her humor and expertise was everything we needed and for once we left with a smile and all was finally right in our world. In fact when I think about all my experiences with cell phone providers and technicians throughout the years....she is by far the BEST we've come by. Terrible Sales Reps. and Service. Sales Rep. Chris was constanly changing what he said about our Cellular Plan and billing. We had to call the Verizon service line multiple times and go to the store to get the billing squred out for almost 3 weeks. We ended up returning an iPad we got from this "deal" that Chris gave us after going through all this terrible customer service and switch and bait from Chris. I would never go to this store and ever going to recommend anyone to come here. And planning on switching carrier from Verizon to other service. My family has been Verizon customer for 10+ years but won't be anymore after all this. read more

This is a brand new store but I got a lot of great help. I was able to go there and pick up a beautiful new phone for my Wife's Birthday. Am very happy was able to get this phone as she helps my Daughter and I stay healthy so was able to get her a beautiful Apple IPHONE X that the deserves. read more

This review is for a phone and accessories purchase only. I went to the Verizon store while visiting family in TX because I kept missing calls on my LG phone and had HAD IT with my old phone. I had also dropped the LG in the toilet a couple times and it would constantly fall out of my pocket, purse, whatever. The screen was cracked. The Wi-Fi and Bluetooth elements didn't function, and I couldn't control the volume anymore. All of this was my fault, but I needed a replacement ASAP. Lawrence helped me out BIG TIME in listening to what I did and didn't like about my current phone, understanding the features that were important to me, and realizing my natural clumsiness. He recommended a Google Pixel 2 and I don't think I've ever loved a material object more than this phone. It takes great photos, has a way better keyboard layout than the LG, was SUPER easy to set up and transfer all my data and apps, AND has an IP67 rating for dust/water resistance. Lawrence also helped me select a case for the phone and a screen protector (if they had full bubble wrap for the phone and its owner, I would have bought that too). I've had the phone a few days, loving the features and feel like Lawrence really nailed it in his suggestion. I went to the Verizon store in the Hill Country Galleria today and a sales rep by the name of Mike Falcon helped me. I thought the screen was cracked on my new Apple X iPhone and I needed to get it replaced. But Mike pointed out that it was just the screen cover that was damaged and he helped me contact the company that makes that and got one ordered for me. The sales rep (Chris) did not keep his word on any of his "offers" and provided no resolutions for the incorrect bills I received.
