Unfortunately, the pricing I was promised has never been honored. I was initially told that two lines would cost $104 per month. However, my bills have been inconsistent from the very beginning -- one month $120, another $110, and now $112. The amount changes month to month with no explanation or consistency. In addition to the billing issues, I experienced extremely poor customer service at the Verizon store in Succasunna, New Jersey. The store manager, Sharif, was dismissive, refused to listen to my concerns, and behaved in a highly unprofessional manner. Based on my experience and the way I was treated, I believe there may have been racial bias involved in his refusal to properly assist me. What has made this situation even more frustrating is the constant runaround between Verizon's online customer service and the retail store. When I call customer service, I am told I must go into the store. When I go to the store, I am told the issue is "not their problem" and that I need to contact online support. No one takes accountability, and no one has made any real effort to resolve the issue. Overall, this experience has been misleading, frustrating, and completely unprofessional.

At this location, I explained the situation and I was told they had nothing to do with it and that they do not handle any billing matters and they told me to wait 24 hours after my last attempt to contact Verizon and to dial 611 and "they will walk you through it." As it turns out, 611 connected me instead to Optimum (their competitor). So essentially they not only offered no help, but blew me off with a big fat lie. They play dirty and are definitely not honest business people. The sad part is that these two mobile phone companies are the only ones available in this area so they can get away with anything.

However, when the technician arrived, he only unscrewed four bolts, placed the TV on the floor, and stated that installation was not included in the service. According to him, the service covers either uninstalling or installing -- not both. This is not what is communicated in the description and creates a false expectation for the customer. The wording clearly suggests a complete uninstall and reinstall service, not a partial task. This experience was frustrating and a waste of time. The service description should be corrected to accurately reflect what is actually included, so other customers are not misled.

He even offered to take his shoes off, which I really appreciate since we do not wear shoes in the house. He got right to work and was prepared. He was thorough, quick, smart, and very efficient. When he tells you that he will be done in an hour, that is literally the case. YES MY DATA WAS RECOVERED AND I AM NOW A NORMAL PERSON AGAIN!!! Thanks to Josh, I have all of my data and my hard drive is now safe and secure. For those of you who are wondering: my MacBook is no longer usable. But, that is NOT why I needed Josh. My MacBook was the least of my worries. I bought it in 2010 and should I not able to be used again, I did not mind. All I cared about was my data, which Josh DID save, recovered, and even gave me a little storing container and pouch to store my hard drive in. I now have ALL of my data recovered from my hard drive AND the proud owner of a pretty and shiny MacBook Pro with touchbar as an (early) graduation gift from my parents =) =) I am forever indebted to Josh and WILL call him whenever I need any technical support. We talked for awhile, got the problem diagnosed, the guy at the desk called the owner to confirm the part being ordered, great. Get to a week later, I call back about the part because I need it replaced. "Oh, $, we never got that ordered. I was mowing my lawn when he called me and..." Oh boy. Not good. Let's review: * Immediately refunded my deposit * Continued investigation and found they DID get it ordered * Did not demand a new deposit * Continued tracking the package, even though it seemed to be lost - well beyond the expected Tuesday-Wednesday timeframe. * It arrived while I was at work, really didn't have time to fix it. But he called me up to let me know and we worked out a time - he personally promised to set that time aside for me. I showed up, he confirmed it was the right screen, we went through some tests - it was glitchy - then he rebooted and it seems to have unglitched. As I now touch my screen to confirm, Device Surgeon got it done. They fought the mail, they put the customer first, and navigated a tricky situation successfully.
