Unfortunately, the pricing I was promised has never been honored. I was initially told that two lines would cost $104 per month. However, my bills have been inconsistent from the very beginning -- one month $120, another $110, and now $112. The amount changes month to month with no explanation or consistency. In addition to the billing issues, I experienced extremely poor customer service at the Verizon store in Succasunna, New Jersey. The store manager, Sharif, was dismissive, refused to listen to my concerns, and behaved in a highly unprofessional manner. Based on my experience and the way I was treated, I believe there may have been racial bias involved in his refusal to properly assist me. What has made this situation even more frustrating is the constant runaround between Verizon's online customer service and the retail store. When I call customer service, I am told I must go into the store. When I go to the store, I am told the issue is "not their problem" and that I need to contact online support. No one takes accountability, and no one has made any real effort to resolve the issue. Overall, this experience has been misleading, frustrating, and completely unprofessional.

After two days of trying, they have made it impossible for me and others to receive the $20 credit. I have tried on their website, on the phone and I even went personally to the store at 241 Rt 10 East, Succasunna, NJ. At this location, I explained the situation and I was told they had nothing to do with it and that they do not handle any billing matters and they told me to wait 24 hours after my last attempt to contact Verizon and to dial 611 and "they will walk you through it." As it turns out, 611 connected me instead to Optimum (their competitor). So essentially they not only offered no help, but blew me off with a big fat lie. They play dirty and are definitely not honest business people. The sad part is that these two mobile phone companies are the only ones available in this area so they can get away with anything.

Somehow, this wizard of an employee performed what I can only describe as an act of voodoo and resurrected the phone. He lost a sale, sure but my god I will never go to another Verizon store now. But the attitudes and overall decorum of this store location that my mother and I encountered today was just abysmal and ruined our day. First of all, we entered and no one greeted us or asked if we needed help. We were hoping to get a new phone case that would fit my father's outdated I-phone 11. I knew we probably wouldn't come up with anything and that it would be too out of date, but we'd gotten multipurpose cases here before. We made our way over to the phone case area and it was a mess, there didn't seem to be a real order to anything, things were mismatched, etc. Then an employee walked past my mother and let out a loud, disgusting belch. A nearby customer, who was waiting for said Verizon employee to come back and attend to him, even responded in disgust and annoyance saying with immense sarcasm, "Charming." I then made my way over to an older gentleman employee, saying excuse me and apologizing if I was interrupting him as it looked like he was in the middle of helping someone/doing something on his tablet. Said gentleman rolled his eyes, huffed, and said in a deeply annoyed tone of voice, "What's up?" I asked if they had any cases that would fit an I-phone 11 and he interrupted me before I had time to finish my question and said, "We don't have that. It's too old and out of date. Happy Holidays." before going back to what he was doing. While I knew it was a long shot that we could get said case, I believe we could have been treated more kindly and that overall demeanors of the employees and the store could have been better and more professional. As a customer there for almost 20 years, this was very very disappointing and made my mother even consider switching service providers due to how everything went.

We talked for awhile, got the problem diagnosed, the guy at the desk called the owner to confirm the part being ordered, great. Get to a week later, I call back about the part because I need it replaced. "Oh, $, we never got that ordered. I was mowing my lawn when he called me and..." Oh boy. Not good. Let's review: * Immediately refunded my deposit * Continued investigation and found they DID get it ordered * Did not demand a new deposit * Continued tracking the package, even though it seemed to be lost - well beyond the expected Tuesday-Wednesday timeframe. * It arrived while I was at work, really didn't have time to fix it. But he called me up to let me know and we worked out a time - he personally promised to set that time aside for me. I showed up, he confirmed it was the right screen, we went through some tests - it was glitchy - then he rebooted and it seems to have unglitched. As I now touch my screen to confirm, Device Surgeon got it done. They fought the mail, they put the customer first, and navigated a tricky situation successfully. Someone told me to check this place out and I'm glad I listened. Alper was the one helping me and somehow got the phone working long enough to transfer everything over to my new phone. I honestly didn't think there was any chance of saving it. Super nice guy great service and they seriously saved me from losing a ton of important stuff. Couldn't thank them enough and definitely recommend this place.
