I came to this store to upgrade my phone, I had checked online beforehand and knew I was eligible. The service was amazing, Frankie helped us every step of the process! He let us know how much the trade-in was worth and told us about different discounts/promotions including a $1 Apple Watch that came with the upgrade. He handled the data transfer and helped set up/update the new phone while I left and continued shopping. Most of the negative reviews for this location deal with long wait times or different online vs. in-store information. I would probably not recommend visiting over the weekends or when the mall is too full, but during the week it's great! I did not have an issue with online information being wrong either, we called an AT&T store ahead of time and got a quote for our current phone's trade-in value that was the same as Frankie offered. read more

Went to this store about 3 weeks ago as they were the only one in the area with the S10. People were nice enough but about 10 days after getting the phone, I started seeing strange charges appearing in my account and getting emails from ATT thanking me for signing up for things like the Next Up plan and phone warranty. I gave the rep a VERY specific NO when he asked me if I wanted these things and yet they signed me up for them anyway. They also charged me the $30 setup/activation fee which ATT had waived in my account and which I had pointed out to him. Bottom line is I will NEVER do business with that store again as that is just plain robbery and it took me several hours dealing with the main ATT customer support and Social media support to get this corrected. The husband and I decided to be fully committed to each other and join forces on a cell phone plan together. We're both transferring over from different carriers and agreed to open an account with AT&T. Long story short, my online order was cancelled because they couldn't confirm my identity due to my last name change so I had to go into the store to provide my identification. We visited this store twice. The first time, all of AT&T systems were down and they were unable to do anything. The second time, we were put on a waitlist by a very friendly associate (I forgot her name but she was super nice!) and waited about 20 minutes before we were helped. After we explained our situation and that we wanted to open new service, the sales associate said "OK" and went to the back. We waited about 10 minutes for him to come back outside before we decided to leave. There wasn't an explanation of where he was going or what he was doing, which was offsetting. We went to another AT&T retailer (review to come soon) who provided us excellent customer service. It's unfortunate that things didn't work out at this location, but hopefully I won't need to go to a brick-and-mortar location very often. read more

Sidon tried to help me but to no avail. I tried going here in person to add an international plan without changing my grandfathered unlimited plan. Sure, he added in the 6 gig plan (which should cost an additional $120), but somehow they sent me an email with my future bill being $484 or something like that. I had to call them to straighten it out. At least I still have my unlimited plan, but the reason that I showed up was to avoid any issues. read more

I had to go to store during Covid and stand in line for over 1 hour each time and finally didn't get my problem resolved . Their store manager takes their employees back and hung up the phone on me. COMMISSION SEEKING, FRAUD STORE! The AT&T store in Tysons Corner mall is literally the worst! I've been with AT&T for years and have never dealt with fraud or poor customer service like the one provide at Tysons Corner! The manager supports their salespersons' wrong doing, and then chooses not to help or "get involved" when they get phone calls regarding the issues. This store literally created a fraud FirstNet account under my name and never sent me the receipts for it. Literally tried to finesse me, and once I caught on and called back, the manager did not want to get involved. They did not even give me the military discount they said they would on my consumer line. But instead created a whole 2 fraud FirstNet accounts under my name. DID NOT EVEN GIVE ME A FIRSTNET SIM CARD BUT CREATED IT UNDER A SECOND IMEI NUMBER. I really want to drop the salesperson and manager's names but out of respect I will not. I was not aware of any of this until I visited another AT&T store and they went into their system to find out what was going on. The salesperson at Tysons created a second Business line under my name and said I qualified for FirstNet when I told him I tried previously and was denied. He said said he would find a way, and he sure did. It's so unprofessional that they literally try to manipulate customers to thinking they are helping when actually they are just in it for the commission, even if it means playing the customer. I would never go back to this store, and would never recommend anyone to either. read more

I have been with ATT for 18 years and been a loyal and happy customer until TODAY. I was warned by my friends about the unpleasant customer service but I chose to trust the company which I have been with for past 18 years. I was so disappointed! I guess I am too old to understand the "culture" that if you trust what sales person tell you, it is your own fault and you have to take the consequences. Long story short, my suggestions to you: DO NOT GO TO ANY ATT STORE because 1) you can do everything online; 2) if you don't buy anything or even after you buy something from them, they will tell you to do everything else by yourself online anyway; 3) they just tell you what you need to know to make the purchase. 4) Get a written proof otherwise do not commit to any "deal" they are trying to promote to you. read more

Visited the store to upgrade our iPhones. Worked with sales rep, Jhoselinne Guillen, and she was outstanding. Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful from start to finish. We felt very well taken care of through the whole process of finding the best plan for our needs, buying, backing up, and downloading our data to the new phones. It took a while... over an hour, and Ms Guillen was with us the entire time. We were never left alone or feeling stranded. The store was fairly busy, but they had enough staff and no one was waiting for more than 5 minutes. Overall...a very good experience. read more

I'm not one to complain, and I actually have a very high level of patience working in a retail setting myself, but this place sucks major anus. We got here an hour ago was told we would be waiting 25 minutes. Initial guy we spoke to was very friendly and personable but the rest of the staff seems uninterested in helping anyone, choosing to turn on the Direct Tv to a specific channel and try out the speakers with an obnoxious Taylor swift song after helping his previous customer as opposed to helping the 6.. scratch that 7 customers in queue. The gentleman helping us from the start is transitioning from person to person without stopping to ensure continuous service. Please train your staff to help those in the store or have those personnel in the back who come out periodically just to walk around to come help the now 8 people in queue. read more

Friendly associates working here but not all of them are well trained. The guy who helped us with a screen protector and phone case just talked forever and took a decade to apply the glass screen protector on our new phone. Even after two attempts, he couldn't get it completely right....there was a particle underneath the glass which we realized when we got home. The guy was also adamant about using his so called trustworthy rag to clean the phone. At this point, we didn't want to bother going back and having the same klutz apply it again for the third time. Do yourself a favor if you're just there to buy accessories- get what you want and get the heck out. Don't even bother with them installing a glass screen protector for you- just go to YouTube and do it yourself. What we thought would be a simple and quick visit felt like an eternity. read more

So I pop in to pick up a charger for my phone. It's about 9 in the evening, and the store is mostly empty, but the two employees aren't nearly enough to handle the four customers in the store (there may have been a third b.s.ing with someone, if si, he certainly wasn't doing anything productive). .So I sit on the bench....and wait....and wait....and wait. Ten minutes pass and despite looking right at me do I even get the slightest acknowledgement of my existence? Nope. No "sorry we grossly understaffed" no "we'll be right with you" ...nothing. After another five minutes I toss the charger on the table and head for the door...does anyone attempt to salvage the easiest sale they could ask for by saying anything? Nope...not a word... just look at me as I walk out door.... genuinely horrible service. With all the choices in this mall I certainly will never be back to this store. read more

This company has to be the worst when it comes to customer service on devices they sell. You all put a block on my in-store purchase of the apple watch with my new iphone and cellular plan after switching from sprint after 8 years of their loyalty program back in March 2020. The few times i have gone back to have my watch that i am paying to have connected to cellular data, had been reconnected but not informed that it keeps disconnecting because it has been reported stolen. Supposedly this watch is brand new and if so then how would anyone besides someone who works for at&t specifically at the tysons corner mall would put a block on a device that is sitting on my wrist and they had confirmed the IMEI matches to the one on the receipt. This whole experience has been a scam especially on top of having a scheduled appointment at 2:30 to finally be helped an hour later to be told i can't be helped. Purchased a new IPhone and Alexys sold me the phone. He is very knowledgeable, courteous and patient and explained all the new features on the phone. Transferred all the data and apps from my old phone in a timely manner. Had a few questions the next day and stopped by the store for his advice. Highly recommend dealing with Alexys. I wanted to buy a new Galaxy S8 active phone, which stickers at $850. I go to the AT&T store at the mall right when it opens, explain I want to buy a phone, and am told I have to wait 15 minutes because they're busy. That's strange, but okay. I wait an hour and finally offered the phone. The salesman then refused to sell me the phone--he says I can only buy it on an installment plan. I can buy it from AT&T online outright, but not in their physical store. They suck. Waste of time. I left. read more

Really poor service. I switched from Verizon with promises of unlimited data, great service, and excellent new phones. However, the sales associate Nabil lied throughout the entire process of signing up for a plan. Only a month after my purchase I'm back at the store talking to a manager Julian who couldn't care less about my frustrations. One phone on our plan turns off randomly throughout the day, we aren't eligible for unlimited data despite being guaranteed by Nabil that we 100% would have no problem getting Direct TV installed (it's required to have Direct TV to have unlimited data). Very disappointed in the poor management and over promising sales associate. Nabil should be retrained completely. read more
