BEFORE you let these guys (or anyone) open your device, know that it will void any warranty with Apple (they will no longer fix/look at it if anyone other than Apple has worked on it) You're better off to take your apple product to the Apple Store since they will get the job done with better parts AND charge less. I dropped my iPad off to get a cracked screen repaired. The guy told me it would be ready in two hours and someone would call me when it was done. Fast forward 25 hours and no one had called. When I called to get the status, the person told me that my iPad was "missing parts" and a manager was looking at it. He couldn't explain to me how my iPad was functioning perfectly when I dropped it off, despite it "missing parts." Also, when I dropped it off the guy told me if would cost $20 more than the quote I'd been given before. When I questioned why the price had changed, he lowered the price. There's a lot of repair places. Go somewhere else and avoid the hassle here. Update - now 48 hours after I was told it would be repaired, no one has called me and when I call, the phone just rings and rings with no way to leave a message. This place is the worst. read more

I would give zero stars if possible. I got to the kiosk with one couple currently being helped and with one man that was waiting. I got behind him. Two more people came and got behind me thus forming a line. Then two people walked up and got behind the couple that was *currently being helped*. At this point, four people are waiting to be helped with the two recent additions going rogue and saying they wanted to skip the line. There was only one employee at the counter and he saw those of us in line and the two new customers that decided the line wasn't something they wanted to participate in. When the lone employee finally finished with the current couple, he went to the line and assisted the man in front of me. When he finished with that customer, instead of coming back to the line, he helped the two men that were the last to walk up. When I finally got to the counter, I asked if those two men had an appointment and if that was why they got to cut the line, they didn't, and the employee "apologized." Using quotes since he snickered when I pointed this out, I don't expect a genuine "I'm so sorry" but the scoffing annoyed me even more. The man behind me even asked, "just making sure -- where is the line?" And I told him that's what I was pointing out, that there was a line and it was the line we were in. He asked why I was there and I told him I had an appointment to repair my iPad screen. He said they don't repair iPad screens and that I would have to go to their DC location. So I just spent 25 minutes waiting for my turn only to be told they don't do that particular service. (For what it's worth, I asked why the website allowed me to make an appointment for this Tyson's location for an iPad and he had no answer.) Warning! I came here to fix my broken screen and they ended up breaking my iPhone's finger print scanner. The manager refused to fix my fingerprint scanner. I would not come here! Terrible customer service both the manager and employee were very rude. Update: I called this location again to try to have my touch ID fixed. This time he said "We will fix your phone but since I saw that you left me a bad review, I am not going to fix your phone. I can give you a number to another location." So he refused to fix my phone for a second time. Pretty much the worst customer service possible. $133.54 cents wasted on a screen replacement and protective screen cover. I wish I could have taken my business elsewhere. I am told that I must now I must travel to Gaithersburg to fix my Touch Id. I would avoid highly advise you to not do your business here. read more

I'm stuck between 3 and 4 stars for several reasons-- The young man and woman that are often (always?) at the Zagg Kiosk are kind but appear distracted, whether they are on the phone or talking to one another while trying to complete my transaction. As a result, both times I have had my Apple Watch screen protector replaced, they have had to do it over at least twice. Of course, I only pay the $10 service fee one time no matter the amount of packages they have to open to get the job done properly, but still--what a waste? Speaking of the $10 service fee... I think that's a little steep for the Apple Watch replacement. They lump cell phones and watches together under that fee with tablets costing $15, I believe. In the end, I'd like a little more focus and a little less of a cost. Nevertheless, I'll be back because the Zagg lifetime warranty is essential to me. And, yes, I realize that I could avoid the $10 fee if I take the replacement, install it myself, and pay to send the cracked screen protector back to Zagg -- but that's no simpler. read more

I stopped by a few times to get the protective covering for my new ipad, but it seems like they never had the ipad skin in stock. Their representatives were very helpful and told me to call back. I kept calling, but alas, no protective coverings shipped to their stand. The cost of covering an ipad is also very high - around 70$. They replaced my iPhone screen with a low quality one. The new screen shattered within a week of getting it replaced. The drop wasn't even 8 inches high. You are better off paying the premium and replacing it at the Apple Store. I will say that the manager at this location is friendly, however, some of the staff just don't seem to care much about anything. read more

My IPhone 6 company phone cracked in my pocket a few weeks ago so I asked the IT department where I should go to get it fixed. They mentioned they send everyone to ZAGG at Tysons Corner Mall so I went there to get it repaired. The guy at the kiosk replaced the screen but it was not flush to the phone and was popping out a bit. I mentioned it to him a couple of times and he informed me it was fine. I went on a business trip and during my trip the phone display went blank and my phone wouldn't work. The screen seemed to keep popping out more and more. On my trip I noticed it was starting to crack on the right top corner so I took it to ZAGG right away once I returned. The customer service guy told me he could not do anything except give me a 10% discount to replace it again because it had cracked . Why should I double pay for a service that was NOT performed properly the first time around? I then went on to emailing the owner and have not heard back from him as well. I DO NOT recommend going to this location and I will provide my company who gives this location a lot of business with the same feedback! They did nothing more than cheat me. Going to Apple would have been a better option regardless of the wait! Now I'm stuck with a cracked screen until I hear back from the owner because I refuse to pay for POOR service. read more

My son dropped his iPhone the other day, and as a result, the charger would no longer "click" into his phone, so the phone would no longer charge. I assumed that the drop had broken or loosened parts within the phone. I went first to the AT&T store where I purchased the phone several months ago. I did purchase insurance for my son's phone when I bought it, and the guy at AT&T provided me with the name of the third-party insurance company to contact. However, he also helpfully advised me that this type of insurance carries a deductible which starts out high, and then goes down the longer you own the phone before making an insurance claim....and my deductible at this point would have been $300!!! Instead of proceeding with that, I remembered Zagg at Tyson's Corner Mall...I had taken my own phone there months ago for a cracked screen repair, and they had done a great job with that...maybe they could repair my son's iphone as well? And if so, hopefully for under the $300 I was otherwise going to pay to AT&T? I told the gentleman at Zagg what the problem was, and that I thought I needed a repair that he could hopefully do. Honestly, I was expecting to pay $100 or more for the repair. Instead, he got a tool out, and to my surprise, he used that tool to dislodge particles and debris that had gotten lodged up inside the phone. He then put the phone on a charger, and showed me it was charging again now and working just fine! I was ready to pay $10-$25 for that minor repair...even though it had only taken a couple moments of his time. Also, I was appreciative of his honesty...based on what I told him when I got there, he could have easily taken advantage of me, made an unnecessary repair, charged me $100+, and I would have been none the wiser! I asked him how much I owed him, and he didn't charge me anything! Just thanked me for thinking of them, and hoped I'd be back for any future repair needs! I definitely will go back to them first in the future before anywhere else if my phone or a family member's phone has any problems. Really a class act. Thank you Zagg! read more

I promised to update about my experience. I received a call from the Zagg Regional Manager a few days after posting my review. He was very polite, apologized and told me he would have the parts send to the kiosk and the Kiosk manager would call me to bring my phone in for the repairs. He assured me it would be fixed. The kiosk manager called me and we arranged a day to come in. I was unable to make that time and came the following day. Unfortunately the wrong parts got ordered, due to a misread of the iphone 5S and saw 5C. Manager told me he would get the right parts and be in touch. I understand stuff happens, slightly irritating to have to come to the mall again, but at this point I am not going to let this get the best of me. Kiosk Manager calls a few days later and I set up to come today. Manager can't be there at my requested time, but employee at kiosk was exceptionally polite and went out of his way to get the parts installed and make sure the phone was in working order. Manager called employee while I was there and made sure I was pleased with the outcome. I have to say, that they went out of their way to make sure the wrong got fixed. I appreciate how they changed a wrong into a right and made good. read more

We came to the store to get a simple iPhone repaired as screened was cracked (phone was fully functional with the crack for months before coming to the store). They had us sign a waiver and unfortunately it states that in form in capital letttrs that ANYTHING can go wrong once they try to repair. They struggled with the phone and after 2 technicians scrambling to try make phone work; we could tell something went wrong. They didn't even apologize and blamed us for dropping phone and that we caused the issue. We were dumb founded as the phone was totally fine. After re-reading the fine print on the form it; I realized we were dooped as they anticipated this issue. Wish we went to Apple store!!! read more

I've come back to Zagg more than a few times to get a screen protector for my iPhones, replacement screen protectors, and to have my iPad repaired. This is the only place I will go bc QUALITY MATTERS. I'm talking about the team, the service, and the product are all of top quality! The team, especially Syed, are so knowledgeable, skilled, efficient, responsive, and have excellent customer service. They really know phones and tables inside and out. They are honest and direct about what they can or cannot do and when and how they will do what they can to repair your devices. Syed and the guys working the kiosk are so good, reliable, and efficient! I'm consistently impressed. Come here for quality products, great service with a quality team, and to get in and out fast. If they are repairing something for you, they'll follow-up and keep you in the loop. They are responsive and very direct and honest. EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT TEAM! Syed has been the primary person I've dealt with almost dozen visits, but I've interacted with others as well and they're just all very knowledgeable. Their products are top notch! I bought a Zagg screen protector for my iPhones and after that, if the protective screen ever cracked (pretty much after I've dropped it badly - it doesn't crack on most falls, but if it hits concrete or a corner, the screen protector will crack), I come back and pay $10 for a replacement screen protector. I want to start by saying that I have been a loyal Zagg customer for years and have recommended their products to others - they really are great. Also, I've worked retail and customer service many times in my life and tend to give service employees a lot of slack (especially when they're younger - I'm only 30 myself and remember what it's like). The previous times I've gone to Zagg locations I've had extremely happy experiences but this previous one makes me never want to go to one again. I went to this location to get the shield on my phone replaced. To try to cut an extremely long story short, it took the two employees behind the counter over twenty minutes to acknowledge me, who had been standing in right next to their counter, patiently waiting to talk to someone. I should mention that 10 minutes into this one of them apologized to my boyfriend for the long wait, even though he had been standing away from the booth the majority of the time. He gave him a bewildered look and told them I was the customer but they still didn't even look at me. After the other was done trying to cover someone's Galaxy S6 edge for the 2nd or 3rd time before handing it off to his coworker (who then needed another 3 tries to get it right) and finishing up an iPad screen repair (that seemed to be extremely tardy considering how mad the woman was), he then went to the lady right next to me to help her - completely ignoring me once again. Only when she mentioned that I was there before her did someone FINALLY acknowledge my presence. I told him that I wanted to get the guard on my phone replaced but I wanted to upgrade from the original to the HDX. He told me that it would cost me $39. Considering that the HDX for iPhone 6 costs only $24.99 on their website and installation costs $7, I'm not sure where the $39 came from. Regardless, I told him that when I previously talked to a ZAGG representative, they told me that I would only be charged for the difference between the original to the HDX and not for a completely new install. They told me it was not possible and there's no such thing as an upgrade to HDX. Considering that I had already been there for close to 30 mins at that point and they had already ripped the guard off of my phone, I told them to just go ahead with the install - in which he placed my phone on the counter and walked away to work on something else. After a few more times of this, he put the screen on my phone and handed it back, which is when I then asked if he was going to replace the guard on the back. He said that would be another $5. When I asked why the back would be $5 but the front would be $39, he said it was because the front was going up four stages when the back was going up only one. I asked what these other options were on the sample board and he said they weren't there. I responded that he just acknowledged that there was, then, an upgrade between the original and the HDX. Then I told him very clearly "I want the HDX guard on the front and back of my phone and I want it for the price of upgrading from original to HDX." He took my phone, took the guard he just put on there and replaced the shields on both sides. When I finally received my phone back, I felt the guard and it seemed off. When I checked the receipt my suspicions were confirmed: I was charged $14 for - and given - the HD, which isn't even an option supposedly. I left because I had been there nearly 40 minutes and was ready to rage I was so frustrated. I ended up contacting corporate to remedy my issue. Maybe it's better on weekdays but stay far away on weekends apparently. read more

WARNING: EXTREMELY OVERPRICED TO FIX IPHONE CRACKED SCREENS! My family and I have been loyal Zagg customers for many years and have always recommended their products to our friends and family. NOTE: Zagg products and Zagg Phone repair are somewhat separate entities. My most recent experience at Zagg Phone Repair-Tysons Corner was absolutely horrible and makes me never want to come here again. First of all, I was under the false impression that getting your phone fixed at one of the kiosks is cheaper than going to the Apple Store for an iphone not covered under warranty (Apple Care). This is not true! A week ago, I passed by this Zagg Kiosk and asked for the price from one of the workers to fix the screen and he told me it was about $130. When I came back today to ask for the price to fix the screen here at Zagg, another worker (who is the manager) told me it was $249 (compared to Apple's $149 in retrospect). A whopping $100 dollar difference, which I did NOT know at the time. I went with it and had him fix the screen at this price since there was no one else working the kiosk, no signage to tell me otherwise, and I trusted that he would tell me the honest price. I do admit it is absolutely my fault that I did not research into the pricing further but let me tell you why I am so disappointed in this experience: 1) Currently on their website, they do NOT have the pricing listed for the iPhone 6s plus. They only have the price for the iPhone 6 plus, which is $119+ tax. There is absolutely no signage that tells you the pricing of their repairs and you are just supposed to take their word for it. Its also very confusing since another worker had told me $130 the other week. The manager admitted to me that due to this error of the pricing not being listed on the website that it has been confusing many costumers. If that is so, this should be rectified ASAP and make sure all your workers are on the same page with the pricing. 2) $100 difference is a huge difference from the price you would pay for Apple to fix your phone without a warranty. At this point, the manager said unfortunately they need to charge this much in order to make a profit. He explained, after the fact that Apple has a contract with the manufacturing company so they get their parts for much cheaper. He then even further admitted to me that there is a HIGH LIKELIHOOD that my NEW phone screen will pop off in the upcoming weeks. So when that happens, I can come back and they will try to fix it. NOTE: All repairs come with a 90-day warranty. For those who say you pay more for how fast they are able to repair the screen, $100 is still outrageous given that the manager says the new screen might pop off in the upcoming weeks. (When speaking to one of the workers about the outrageous price to fix the screen, he told me that they are "thinking about" making the warranty a lifetime-warranty, but unsure when they would start doing that..seems like they are making up the rules as they go...). 3) After realizing how much I overpaid for the screen, I immediately wanted to discuss this matter further with Zagg Phone Repair. I called the number listed for this location and it automatically went to voicemail. So instead, I called the closest location in Maryland to speak to a worker there. When I told him that the phone number to contact the Tysons Corner kiosk was unavailable, he responded by saying that he will tell the manager to turn on the work phone so that customers would be able to reach them. Again, very unprofessional--you should have the WORK phone on during WORK HOURS. (Note: I also called customer service at Zagg Products. Even the customer service representative was shocked at the price and assumed they they would refund and match the price.) 4) When discussing with the manager my concerns about their pricing, I felt like I had been cheated (because I had been). He claimed to not know the pricing that Apple offers, which was clearly a lie since he says Apple gets their parts for cheap and that now that they had already replaced the screen and opened the phone, my Apple warranty had been broken. Since I was unhappy with the pricing, he offered to give me a free screen protector. To which, I responded that I had already purchased a screen protector from them, which comes with a lifetime warranty so that you only pay $5.99 if you claim it online or ($10 if you want them to install it for you). He then just smirked and in the end offered me 10% discount on the price I paid. HIGH YIELD: DON'T COME HERE. Very overpriced. Terrible customer service. read more

If you value customer service, a quality product and absolutely zero hassle, you must go see Syed at the Zaggs counter. Here is why. First, I really liked the feel of the Zagg protective glass on my iPhone, so when my iPad battery went bad and I paid the $99 for a new one at the Apple Store, the guy referred me to the Zagg stand to get protective glass for my iPad. I checked pricing at Best Buy and noticed a sale, but no inventory. When I showed Syed the Best Buy sale, he offered me a 10% discount and free installation. I took it. They applied the glass but one corner didn't want to seal well. Syed told me to bring it back if it didn't repair itself and they would redo it. This weekend I took a bad spill, gravel vs face. Gravel won. Gravel vs Zagg protector. Initially I thought gravel won again. However, the Zagg protector refused to tap. I was certain the massive gravel bites and spider web cracks were in my screen. However, as it turned out, gravel was defeated. Today I brought both products back to Syed. I mentioned the corner of the iPad not going into place and before I finished saying anything, he had pulled off the protector and was applying a new one. If you wonder how common it is for any kind of mis-install, Syed remember the situation when I was there weeks before! Obviously, their applications are typically flawless. No questions asked. Simply replaced quickly and perfectly. Onto the iPhone. Syed pulled off the protective glass and my iPhone was in perfect condition. I was in awe! He told me it would be $10 to replace the glass, which I quickly agreed to. $10, including installation! So quick, so easy! Syed and the guys at the Zaggs counter near the Apple Store. I would tell everyone to visit them before you even leave the Mall with your shiny, new Apple product. They will take care of you as assuredly as your Zaggs protective glass will take care of your device. Too bad my face wasn't as well protected. But I'll heal. I purchased a glass saver for my new iphone from Zagg last year. During the course of the year it had chipped a bit, so, I stopped by the Zagg station at Tysons Corner to see about it. I was promptly greeted by Jeff. He looked at my phone and told me that because I had purchased their "best" protector, he would be happy to replace it with a new one for only $7 ! In no time he had my old one off, cleaned the phone and replace the protector with a new one. Jeff was very courteous and very helpful. read more

I had the pleasure of dealing with Norma at this location. I originally bought my screen protector at Best Buy in Stafford on May 22. After it popped off on me, I went to the Zagg store, as I had registered the part under their warranty on zagg.com, plus I have an old Samsung S4 that I had a Zagg glass installed when I lived in Texas, so I knew the quality of the product. Norma was kind and professional. I had to return the next day because the new screen protector popped off as well. As it was a different screen protector, Norma had to charge me for the new one (as I requested the upgraded one from what I had). That particular screen protector is very difficult to get on, and it was peeling away as it wasn't quite on straight. I went back in again today and got a replacement for the screen protector I had. Norma, again, was there, and was dealing with two other clients at the same time. One had a cracked screen protector which she replaced, then that customer was inquiring about something that Norma was unable to answer. After that customer left, Norma broke down in tears as the customer was quite rude to her. If ANYONE should be upset, it would be me, as this store is a 50 mile one way trip for me, and this was my third trip (so a total of 300 miles on the car), but I wasn't, and I know things happen. Norma is a great asset to your location, and Syed, don't let her go!!! She went out of her way to make my experiences top notch, and I salute her for it. read more

My iPhone wasn't charging property. I had to keep jiggling and playing with the cord in order for the phone to start charging. I thought I'd have to replace the entire lower component of the phone. Syed took a look at it and proceeded to pull out a ton of debris/fiber that had accumulated in the charging port of the phone. He did it all with a smile and in the end did not charge me at all. While this place was a tad bit more expensive than other places in Tyson's mall to get my iPad mini screen replaced, I took it here because I have used their screen protectors before and was surprised with the quality, so anyways on to my review, I dropped my iPad mini off last Tuesday, syed help me and explained that it would take about 2-3 hours, being my day off I decided to hang around the mall, 2 hours after I dropped it off syed called and told me that the LCD under the screen was broken as well and needed to be replaced, but he did not have any in store and would be receiving later that day, so fast forward 3 hours and he called again, stating that he believed something inside was broken, because it was not working and that he needed a special tool, which was at another store, and that it should be ready by Thursday, fast forward to Thursday and a woman from another store called and she informed me that a few resistors had broken off the motherboard and that their master tech, would attempt to repair it, she had given me no timeline to repair ( I had broken the screen REALLY bad, stepped on it in fact) so anyways fast forward to following Thursday and I was called by syed that my iPad was ready to be picked up, so I went to pick it up and it looks great, works great so far, extremely satisfied with their service and communication. With all the additional work I was not charged extra, He offered to throw a free screen protector on but didn't have the glass one on hand, so he took 10% off, I will leave an updated review in a few months after I have used the iPad more. read more

I usually only write these things to share a positive experience because I think that people never take the time to write about good things, only back. Unfortunately, I have nothing good to say here. On October 8, 2015, I took my daughter's iPhone 5S to Tyson's Corner mall. I spoke with two Kiosks, Zagg and one right below it downstairs. Although the one downstairs was less costly, I went with Zagg because the gentleman behind the counter assured me that the screen would be repaired and all would be fine. I just got a good vibe from him, like I could trust him. I was very surprised how fast it was fixed and that it did seem to be in good shape. All went well for about a week. I noticed one day a week and one day later, that the screen seemed to be coming up in the middle. Unfortunately, when I reached for it, I must have pressed it down because I didn't see the same upon closer inspection. Over the next week, my daughter would have to press a little harder to get her screen to work. I called the Kiosk twice and was told someone would call me back. No one has yet to date. I took my daughter's phone from her two days ago because I was worried about it. I have this fear that the screen is going to fall off completely. Well, that didn't happen. What happened was, last night around 10:30, I was laying in bed and hear an odd sound. I couldn't place it, but got up and turned on the lights and started to look around. I even had my two teenagers come in and look with me. As I was giving up, I walked by my dresser and glanced at the top of it where the phone has been resting for 2 days and the screen is completely cracked, although not as bad as when my daughter originally cracked it and the underside looks terrible. I can still see the screen, but it looks wobbly or zig zagged. I have high doubts about the ability for this to be repaired. I am out of $104.79 for the screen replacement and now it looks like I am going to have to purchase a new phone. This is insane. This replacement screen is less than 3 weeks old, the phone itself is only a few months old. I would not recommend bringing my phone here for any reason. I am more than happy to retract my negative review and replace with a positive one, but I really don't see what can be done here. read more

I would highly recommend Zagg phone repair at Tysons Corner Center (across from Brook Brothers). I had a water damage problem with my iphone 6 and Syed has been amazing throughout the process. The Tysons Zagg Kiosk is in a perfect location, very close to the Apple Store. Jeff was highly professional and very efficient in helping me to add HD glass to my new i6 phone.
