Brought it to Battery Joe at the middle of January to get a battery replaced. They "overnighted"…read moremultiple screens because the heat they used broke our original screen. I get it; that sometimes happens, but then they proceeded to break two other screens and returned my iPad to me like this. I spoke personally to the manager to assured me that the screen would be overnighted. It was, then someone used it for another iPad. When they got mine in, they didn't call me to update me. I had to constantly call them. One tech said it was the loose charging port. The other said it wasn't. Then after having my iPad for THREE WEEKS, I finally got a call that it was ready. They also ordered another screen without a home button. You do this for a living. How do you not know what to order? Please keep in mind, this is the third screen. I showed up to pick it up and the excuses started. Ya see, it did start when I called you, but it turned off and isn't turning on. Could you come back tomorrow? Sure! Ugh!! But ok.... Next day. Screen comes in, she broke it. But don't worry, she called me and told me it was ready again. She forgot to mention that she broke the screen again. This time, it's non-repairable. So now I get the pleasure of not being able to access to my iPad to grab my old stuff. Neat. Yes, folks, again. And this picture here is how I took it home. The screen wasn't even attached. I know they went backwards on this one. The excuses started again, but I said ya know, let me just take it today and let's just be done. I've had enough of this run around. When the girl took me to the checkout counter, I asked how much they were actually going to charge me for and she said Word For Word ," well since this was my fu** up, we will only charge you for the battery." Wow. Super professional. She also then had to start searching for prices bc you know, me showing up was a surprise. This was a horrible, horrible experience. I don't know who owns this, but while I was there, they even gave two other customers the run around. If you're looking for the details on this situation if you have cameras, the date is Feb 5, 2024 at 2:00PM. I would rather risk giving my iPad to a local crack head to fix rather than these Yonks. However, we went to the LOFT in Midland and their sanitizing protocols are above and beyond expected. They offer brand new surgical masks and alcohol hand sanitizer at the door. I personally observed the cleaning of the changing room in between customers. They even go so far as to put the clothing items that I touched in a "quarantine" period for 24 hours, prior to adding the product back on the racks. This forethought is impressive. We will be back! I was trying to look at some pants where they were working and putting together a display it seemed, they didn't offer to move. They had sale signs everywhere and then when I asked if a shirt was apart of the sale they stated " the sale doesn't start until tomorrow ". This was my second time in this location and the second time no one greeted or asked if they could help me. I know other locations are not like this one. I will never go back to this location and will go to other locations in other towns. I have never had this problem in other towns where Loft is located. I was not the only customer that felt this way. Two ladies stopped me after leaving and stated that they were disappointed in how the staff treated customers. One of the ladies was having trouble getting a shirt off the rack and asked "why are these hung backwards"? The clerk responded " they are supposed to be like a question mark". They didn't offer to help her take it off the rack for her and I noticed none of the other clothes were hung like a " question mark"in other parts of the store. When you walk into this location do not expect to feel welcome.

I have been to some good Walmarts specifically one in Temecula California on parkway blvd. Probably the best I've ever experienced and maybe I should write a review about it but usually not a huge fun of Walmart. I just moved to Texas and things weren't going as smoothly as I thought. A lot of things happening and then I had a flat tire. Found out Walmart will change a tire for free if you buy from them. I took my car there after work. Had a little bit of the typical Walmart experience.. ( the lines and all that). Come time to pay my credit card wouldn't work!! I went and got my check card all decided!! I didn't know what to do!! I was in a new place and everything wasn't working! My only option was to ask them to take the tire back. Turned out my bank had put a block on my accounts suspecting fraud! I found this out later but everyone in line was looking at me like I was just someone holding up the line. They moved me to a different line for guns and stuff and still everything got declined. The lady at the counter there out of nowhere offered to pay for me. I couldn't say no I needed the tire but I promised I would go back and pay once I figured out what was happening. I was so amazed that she offered that to me and I will be forever grateful!!! Her name is Cathy she is in the sports department!! What a way to show kindness!! I have since paid her back the money with a small gift of gratitude. Just can't believe this happened at Walmart!! Good people are everywhere!!
