I hate this location, if I can give zero stars I would. I had to schedule an appointment to pick a sim card, I can't just pick up a sim card and leave! What's the whole point of scheduling an appointment If had to wait an extra 30 minutes to be helped, this is not the first time I scheduled an appointment, last time I waited an hour and a half to be helped, the available associates were standing in front of the door to greet customers but there were no customers, so instead of standing there on their phone doing nothing, they should of helped me. Don't go here!! The dishonest sales that assist me renewed my contract for 2 years WITHOUT my authorization when I go in to get a replacement SIM card! Obviously I DID NOT ask for renewal, however they sign me up for additional 2yrs contract without notifying me nor did I authorize them to do it. Door greeter is a nice gesture but cannot overcome the impediment this place represents in sum. Greeter is equivalent to a restaurant comping a soda when your food has a roach. Standing here watching the guy who sold me the case I'm trying to return walk around in circles while the queue is 5 deep and counting. Tried to set up my company discount 3x in store, not including numerous calls to the 800 customer service line, due to misinformation and a general sense of ineptitude. So my interaction with att begins normally enough. I arrive at the shop at 9:50 to a crowd of people waiting outside. No problem, I have the whole morning to take care of this. No problem right? I wait about 45 minutes, which is fine. They're busy, they're working, I get it. The problem starts when I try to open my account. I am porting numbers from Sprint (or was going to anyway) and they tell me that some sort of fraud is showing up on my account. They then tell me that one of two things is happening. 1) I am trying to fraudulently open an account under some one else's name 2) Some one has stolen my identity. Still fine, not good, but whatever they're doing their job. Here comes to kicker, they then proceed to tell me that I won't be able to open an account today and that I need to leave. So clearly, it's not the 1 or 2 that they presented to me. They clearly think i'm an identity thief and they are kicking me out. The rep and a manager escort me out of the store and that's the end of that. I offered to provide more documentation or proof of my identity, but they weren't having it. They said it's done, it's over, "closed out." Well, there you go, walked in to open an account, two hours later got accused of I.D. theft and kicked out. What a morning... read more

I went here 3 weeks ago to upgrade to an iPhone. Maybe I shouldn't have gone on a Friday night at 7PM because I waited for a good 30-40 minutes. They did have a waiting list so it was organized, and no body minded that my two-year old nephew was running around and playing with the phones. However, that was enough time to get my my phone before they closed. The sales person manager that helped me was very friendly and reassuring that if I didn't want it, I still had 30 days to return everything I bought. (because I was very skeptical about it, I would have rather stuck to my good old blackjack). He also activated my 15% student discount, which pretty much cut my extra $30 date plan down to about $10 because thats twenty bucks of out $130 plan, so I am VERY happy with my purchase and the service which I received. THen when I went back to return my defective iPhone case that I bought here at another authorized AT&T store in Davis, they were very good about it. Yay for AT&T, I've had a good experience with them & cingular for the past 10 years. :) ALSO, just ALWAYS remember to go to an authorized store, my mom and dad have had their share of RIP OFFS and authorized reseller (like the one at Great Mall), and them adding extra charges and saying its a "free phone" and they end up paying $200 just because they are not tech-savy. I had the best customer service experience of my life today. I went in to get a number switched over from a blackberry to an IPhone and Ronnell was extremely helpful (I think that was his name...something with an R. Sorry dude!) I was in and out of the store in less than ten minutes and he shook my hand in the end and I had the greatest feeling. I spent way less time there than I thought I was going too. Thanks Ronnell! If there is an option to give 0 stars I would it is the worst customer service or no service I had today. I wanted to pay for my bill I needed help I have to ask a couple of associates 1st but even that I didn't get any I didn't get a Hi or hello going in or even a thank you going out. There was about 5 associates on the back of the counter talking and I ask one of the girl to help me and she pass me to the guy at the front and I had to figure out everything on my own without any help with the employees. worst ATT store ever. been ATT customer for two decades.made an appointment to upgrade my phone. what a mistake. arrived at 1pm which was the appointment time. checked in. the blonde lady manager said it you will be the next. I see people are finishing up their business with reps and no one comes to me. when I told the lady I have been waiting for over 30 min with an appointment and what is the point of making an appointment, she replies " I CANT tell you how much longer, you have wait and see". my advice, drive the extra 15 min to El camino store or any other store and save yourself the trouble. read more

I've been there many times and its always not a good service the recent time was the worst. This should be 1 but because of shorter wait, I gave them 2 stars..I am a 16 year loyal member with many accounts with them..yes there were times I wanted to switch but it mght be worse or the coverage not better ..so I am still here. Why is it that because I am Asian I supposed to be assisted by an Asian too? The kiosk ate my money. No call back after I called them multiple times in attempt to find out what happened. I'm pretty sure when they counted the money in the kiosk at the end of the night they took it and called me to say it was even. There was a security camera right by the kiosk. After losing my cheap "James Bond" cell phone in LA last weekend, it was time to shop and get my hands on a new ass kicking phone. Skip the free phones! It's been over five years since I spoiled myself. That's a very long wait for someone that hasn't own a Razor, a flip phone, a blackberry, nor a Skittle bit size colorful blinky phone! It was time to do some "break the piggy bank" spending. Well knowledable in the field and industry, Istephanie had guided my "not-so-tech-savvy" ass to the latest and greatest in cell phones and PDA's. I shared with her my needs and ideas, and in return she shown me actual phones that would possibly fit my requirements. We spent about a half hour going over the high end phones and the services. After a process of eliminations and demonstrations, she volunteered to show me her personal phone so I could preview a potential winnerl. In the end, I purchased the Apple IPhone. This wasn't my first choice. It made sense after all the walk throughs of the phone's features. Just like my sister said, "You want a fun phone! Not a phone that will bring work home!" She was right. I really need a multimedia smart phone that would stand up to my lifestyle and technology needs. No bells or whistles - just straight to the point technology in the palm of my hands. This store is very well stocked with all their demo phones on display. It's a convenient and clean location that I can easily browse because of its simplistic organization: PDA's on one side, free phones on the other, and the smart phones on its own display booth. This made my shopping and searching comfortable. The staff was somewhat helpful. At first visit, I was greeted and helped by Istephanie. On my second visit, I felt ignored and almost left. Istephanie wasn't working that day so I decided to come back the next day to ensure she get this commission. Remember kids, its all about customer service in the end. AT&T stores are generally not a happy place to be. I visited this store twice in year or so and came out really unsatisfied. I am not sure, it's the AT&T philosophy or the way company is run, that you will not accomplish anything in store and they will make you feel that you don't have choice but to depend on AT&T for life, the company sends tons of junk mail and offers undesirable broadband experience. Over the last weekend, I visited store and got some things done. Ms. Jasmine did awesome job as highly professional person would do at Best Buy or Apple Store. She was well supported by her manager Ms. Erin. The bottom line, I finally got my job done patiently regardless of how much savings I didn't get. If this location continues to perform like this, hope they will be able to improve loyalty of AT&T. read more

Its been only 2 week that i have ported to att and its worst nightmare ever! First time when we ported we wouldnt get sim card from any other store so we had to run to this store from where they ported us to get sim card(totaly unware) Then we place order for phones which were going to be delivered. After waiting 5 days, on the day pf the delivery there suddenly comes some "error" in the their system and the order gets cancelled! No other store would take the order so we need to go running to this store that set up our account. When we walked in to the store again, and bought the phone we were told we had 14 days to return/exchange it. So again when i go to a store to get it exchanged within 5 days, they say i have to pay restocking fee for 55$, something that was very convinniently missed out when we bought it! So when i call the store again to ask about this and to get it waived off, they say that all our representative always gives those details(indirectly saying i am lying) and that they wont do anything about it, just call the loyaly numberif i have any issues! They say that even if it wasnt mentioned it was there on receipt, again something that wasnt mentioned then! No compassion for what a customer is going through.. yeah i was frustrated and speaking loudly because i wasnt being heard or helped! None of the process is going smoothly with them.. We got our first bill payment and the charges were double of what we had expected without any explaination about it when we joined their plan! worst service i have ever received from any carrier! read more

My fiance and I visited this store on 3/3 to combine our individual cellular plans and save some money. We were so lucky to be able to work with Carla M. She was absolutely fabulous! She researched both my plan and my fiance's plan and wrote out a side-by-side comparison of our options. She even looked up my data usage so that we chose the right data plan for us to share. But she didn't stop there! She noticed that we are also U-verse subscribers and told us she could help us save some money on our landline by switching plans. Then, she called U-verse and negotiated our price for television and internet down. Overall, I think she's saving us about $60/month! Unfortunately, she wasn't able to complete all of the changes on 3/3 and asked that we call her directly a few days later when the landline changes had gone into effect in order to make the changes to our cellular plan. I called her three days later and, once I identified myself, she knew exactly why I was calling and said she'd been waiting for my call. Wow! She must deal with dozens of customers a day and she remembered why I was calling back. Carla went WAY above and beyond and was absolutely wonderful to work with. I cannot thank her enough for her outstanding customer service and helpful, pleasant attitude. This woman is a gem and I hope AT&T knows how lucky they are to have her on their team. read more

Today I decided to upgrade my phone from a Samsung Note Edge to an LG V10 using the AT&T next program. After waiting for probably 10 minutes (not surprising but not a problem) the AT&T rep finally came over to help me out. His name is Bennedict and this dude was very helpful and didn't waste any time, which was a nice surprise since usually it can take you an hour just to buy a phone. Five stars for the customer service and the hassle free transaction; Much better than other stores. read more

Request Kristine If you don't read the whole review, at least read the first line. ; ) I was hesitant to switch to AT&T, but I wanted an iPhone. I have heard awful stories about the customer service. I started this process on the defensive to make sure I didn't get burned. I loved this store. Everyone was very friendly and willing to help. When I visited to preorder my iPhone 4, I waited in line 30 minutes and it was my turn to be served, but my lunch break was ending and I had to get back to work. They let me schedule an appointment for later in the day when I could walk in and be served immediately. If you go here, request Kristine. She is the best. I have only gone to her, and have visited the store three times and e-mailed her several times. Overall, I asked her about 20 to 25 questions about my service. Like I said, I am not going to get into a 2 year contract without understanding all the details. Kristine answered all of my question with a smile and in a timely manner via e-mail. In the past, I have gone to Verizon and other AT&T stores with about 5 questions about service, and to get an exact quote of what a certain plan would cost monthly (with taxes and fees) on that day if I bought it. Kristine broke down the plan piece by piece and also told me that discounts only apply to plan components that are $30 or more. Other AT&T reps never told me this. read more

I had an amazing experience at the At & T here. Angela is the best! She was so patient with us and waited one hour after closing to finalize everything and transfer our numbers. We were quite indecisive, but she never stopped smiling or giving us more info on helping us decide. While waiting to get our numbers transferred she also gave us tips on where to go for dinner since we are new here! Getting an IPhone replaced bec. of a life proof case that did not stand up to it's claim is a very painful experience. I was given the run around, intermittently waited and talked to rep for more than two hours and in the end , referred to Apple store to buy that phone then show the receipt to manager Bolivar so he can give me a credit of $70. Their ever changing position as to why they can't replace the phone wore me down. I went home deflated and about to cry in frustration. read more

I was READY TO LEAVE ATT until Ricardo was able to fix everything for me. He was pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable about the process necessary to resolve. He took care of it in the time frame promised.... our replacement phone is on the way!! If it was not for Ricardo, ATT would have lost my business, and I have been a customer since 1997. I bought the AT&T iphone charge cable in April 2016, and the charge takes forever and does not completely charge. I was told when I bought the cable that there is one year warranty if anything goes wrong. I took it back to the store today, and the store manager said there wasn't anything wrong with the cable so he wouldn't replace it. In the past, the customer service at this location was excellent, but now it has gone bad! read more
