A couple days later I realized my earpiece was no longer working. I took it back and they told me the tech who fixed it noted that everything was working when he tested it. (his test for the speaker/earpiece was calling the store phone, holding both phones to his ear at the same time and saying 'hello' a few times.) So they charged me *just for the part* to fix it. They didn't have the part and had to order it. A couple days and $30 later I should have just gone to Apple or any other cellphone screen repair service that would have fixed the part they broke for free.

The phone I offered was brand-new in the box and had the receipt from AT&T for god sake, $749.99. Can't return it to AT&T obviously. So his prerequisites for making me an offer to buy were taking a walk to see his buddy at T-Mobile to make sure my phone is not stolen. Lol. Passed. Then he has to call AT&T and make sure it "really is an AT&T phone and not fake AT&T" and that I "really am it's AT&T customer" holding its account. He dials 611 from the phone...unbelievably, AT&T answers. He goes "yep, uh huh, yep, ok. Great thanks!" Then turns to me and says: "you're not the account holder, and AT&T advises me to not do business with you." Bahahaha. Is this guy deliberately trying to destroy his business? I seriously looked him in the eyes and told him he lied. I couldn't believe it. So awkward, I almost felt violated. Went in yesterday to return a phone case. Worker was e-smoking right next to the front door…read more Offered to open the door for me, however blew a huge cloud of smoke in my face as I walked by. Get your workers to not smoke right next to the door. As the worker started looking at my case another worker was talking quite unprofessionally and loud on the phone was he walked around the store speaking to his friend. Then the worker proceeded to tell me that I can't return the case at that store and I needed to go back to the original AT&T that I would it at, which was about 18 miles away from where I lived. I let him know that I came from another AT&T store and they told me I needed to go to an authorized dealer store, which is why I was there. Then the guy on the phone chimed in and talked about different systems and can't process inventory. He was rude about the way he spoke to me. I let both of the workers know that it's ridiculous that I need to return it where I got it when they are all AT&T, and they should be able to restock and take back a return. So I leave there and drive 18 miles to Roseville to have that store tell me that I didn't need to come all the way back to Roseville to return it. UGghh. AT&T train your workers better, hire higher quality workers. Your customers are suffering due to incompetence. Thank god I'm not an AT&T customer for my phones, just happened to buy a case from them.

I'd been looking for a tablet and had no experience with them at all. I am fairly computer Savey having been a software developer for 40+ years but tablets were something of a mystery to me. Jay & chatted for 15-20 minutes, talked about my needs and what I intended to use it for. Jay offered to send me some info on a couple of new tablets he knew about and could order. He also mentioned a different model available at the local "big box" store. I checked out his suggestions plus the big box option that he had mention and it turns out the big box store had a "just introduced" version of his suggested tablet that had a larger screen, more storage and a slightly better processor than his suggestions. Plus it was a few bucks cheaper. All in all I did end up getting the big box tablet but I really appreciated all of Jay's time and effort that he put in with helping me figure out what would work for me and the price range I would be looking at. I went back there the next day to show him the new tablet and got a screen protector from him. He was just the help I needed and did it even if it didn't earn him very much. Can't ask for better help than that. I'd go back to him in a heartbeat for anything he could help me with even if his price wasn't the lowest one!

I then moved on to erasable pen ink where the claim is that you don't get eraser bits. I tested the pen out. Yep, the claim was valid. There were PopSockets on sale. You buy three and your fourth is free. Luckily, I couldn't find four that I liked. Saving money is great! Staff here were chatty amongst themselves. I wished the woman at the checkout a good day. I had dropped my Iphone and part of the corner popped out of the case, so knew I needed to get my smartphone fixed. I checked out some Yelp reviews and decided it was worth stopping by. First, Snelling Avenue was undergoing major construction when I drove there, but it was easy to get to and has its own parking lot, which is super convenient. It was empty when I went in, and I was promptly attended to. The store manager, Demetrius W, helped me. He went over the minimum labor fee of $26, and they literally fixed it within 5 minutes. I barely had to wait - had great customer service, and found the price to be reasonable from other estimates that I got online. Overall, very happy with my relatively easy Iphone fix!

Demanded to know what happened to it and after running some tests they finally admitted they had fucked the motherboard. Okay price for fixing screen but be prepared to have to buy an entirely new iPhone and if they destroy your cracked one they only refund cost of screen not $25 labor cost, which is ridiculous because all they did was destroy my phone.
