We went in last night to look at phones and were immediately made to feel like an inconvenience. They said they had no phones as it had been a busy day. They recommended we try Facebook marketplace for phones, then the employee told us we'd probably have better luck at Best Buy. Then he said oh you should buy it online because they waive all the fees (not true). None of the demo phones would turn on, they said all their connections were bad and the batteries were dead. Then when we tried to look at accessories, he said Best Buy has those too. I've never felt so unwanted in a retail store and this was 2 hours before close and there were multiple employees working and hardly any customers. I left completely baffled and will not return to this location. Ironically I checked online inventory when I got home and they had at least two of the phones in stock we were interested in. We'll definitely be going elsewhere to purchase. read more

WORST customer service. They don't care about the customer at all!! Been a AT&T customer since 2013 and they make me want to switch providers. It wouldn't be so bad if I got a nice person once in a while but it's every single time I come into the store nobody greets me, everybody has a sour attitude, and nobody ever wants to help. I walked in with 30 minutes and told the clerk I had only thirty minutes, I wanted to do my next up upgrade and did not need to transfer anything since Im a power user and can do the set up myself at home. He proceeded to try and sell me home internet for twenty minutes, after several hints I stopped him and told him I had no time let's get it done, then the passive aggressive bullshit started, rushing me to pull my credit card out of my wallet and telling me than ten minutes just wasn't enough time and he'd have to ship my phone because " I can't give you any out of my inventory on that amount of time". Wasted my time so in the last five minutes after I walked off angry I asked for the manager to relay my experience, that womam did nothing but shut me up and make up excuses without ever apologizing. I was told there would be customer service if I switched from prepaid to this bs, I will pay off this phone and eat my next up payments just to cancel my service. paying the premium to get treated like a douche, back to prepaid, pay once a year and don't have to deal with people wasting my time. read more

Very disappointed! If getting service with AT&T in general, I would advise caution. The sheer quantity of problems with AT&T over the years led me to discontinue service. I restarted after years due to some services offered hoping for a better outcome. However, the team is quite uninformed and backed up by a monster company with no regard for loyalty. 1. I was offered a buy one get one deal. it has been almost a year with and they add the charge for both phones on the bill. I have called support 11 times and been to the store 7 times. the store says i need to call customer support and customer support says I need to go to the store. Needles to say, I've had $1200 stolen from me. There seems to be nothing I can do. I have spent hours. the manager does not email back or return calls. 2. I signed up for a plan that includes AT&TwatchTV. since I cut cable I thought this would be a fantastic upgrade. However, it has been almost a year. With, literally, 43 chat sessions 17 emails, and 7 trips to the store. it does not work after a year. I am told every time to wait 5-7 days and it will be fixed. It is not. 3. I have a screenshot of the amount my bill should cost. this is not what it is. when I bring this into the store, they say I am correct but I need to call customer service who says I need to go to the store. 4. I added a watch to my account, they misinformed me and were misinformed themselves, that this watch would need to go on a secondary account and it would work. it does not. i was chared for 3 watches that never worked. I have asked for a refund on multiple occasions. 5. They put my iPad in the wrong account. took months to fix. (i have multiple accounts). it was more expensive the way the did it. 6. they never put insurance on one of the phones as requested. however, I had it in writing this was done. Fortunately, it did not harm anything and I caught it but I wonder what would have happened if I lost a phone. obviously, they would not cover it and blame me. 7. I was offered a trade-in for my phone and promised a credit. I sent the phone but did not receive a credit. These are just the problems for this account. I regret returning to AT&T. They are thieves. I can honestly say, the staff at Mooresville is incredibly friendly. This seems to be a systemic problem with poor support, organization, and communication. I have seen in some reviews you should go to any stores but I tried. Huntersville was of no help either. read more

I never write reviews b/c I understand what customer service workers go through, but Ed is extremely rude & has some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Learn how to speak and communicate with people respectfully or find a different career path. Kenneth is the only employee that has good customer service while the others rarely acknowledge customers when they come in, and when they do it is with an annoyed attitude. I'm sure this review wouldn't make a difference because most already act like they could care less to work there. I would find the next nearest AT&T store if I ever needed service again. read more

Avoid this place at all costs. Their shady salesman screwed us out of over a hundred dollars by misleading my wife about when to trade in a phone for an upgrade. He told her she was good to upgrade when she went in, when she wasn't. We still had two payments to make on the phone. If we had made those, payments, we'd have had well over $100 in value for the old phone, which we could have used. By convincing her to upgrade that day, and not explaining that to her, he cost us all of that money, just so he could make the sale. And even after acknowledging what their unethical sales guy did to us when we went back in, they didn't apologize or offer to make it up to us in any way. How absolutely SLEAZY can you get, AT&T? You guys ought to sell used cars out of that location. Can't wait til our devices are paid off. We will definitely be switching carriers. read more

Well lets start from the beginning. I needed a new phone. So i went to the closest AT&T store here in Mooresville. Walked in, said I wanted a new phone. Young Lady that was helping didn't seem all that happy about being there. So after a few mins of talking about which one I wanted, she goes to the backroom and comes back saying that they out of that color but have a silver one. Ok ill take that one. No problem. Comes back out and try's to sell the phone to me but its not in the system. She says its not in the system and cant sell to me, in a voice that you can tell doesn't care about the situation. So i ask well can you ask your manger to maybe see if they can do anything. Again in her not caring voice No they cant do anything. Ok thats fine, ummm anyway you could see if they have the phone in statesville. She rolls her eyes and pulls out her phone to the statesville phone and talks to them for a min. Comes back and says they have. So i say thank you and head up that way. Now Im at the statesville store. Walk in talk to a young gentle man.Tell him the person that was coimng for that phone. He was like ahhhh yes ok lets sit down and get started. Im like cool thinking this gonna be fast and easy like it should be. Turns out I was wrong. Instead getting me the phone and just being done with it, he tired to sell me cable tv which i dont even have a tv to watch it on. This went on for like 15-20 mins. I was no thank im good. I dont need it. So finally grabs me the phone. Then trys to sell me a phone case and screen protector, But there stuff is over priced and selsction is not great.I said no ill just get my own stuff. Well 15 mins later still trying to get me to buy a screen protector and case i say i dont like any of the caes you have and I really like the the screen protector that I had on my old phone. Now at this point another gentleman had come over to give the first guy back up. Now i have 2 gentleman trying sell me stuff i said i didn't want. So the 1 gentleman says oh we have that one and brings it to me. I asked are you sure this is the same brand? He says yep that little notch on your old one gives it away.I again asked are you sure. He says yep. That was a big lie which I knew but at this point I just wanted to be done. So I made the mistake of getting it. So finally what should have been a 15-20 min visit turned into a 45-50 min visit. So I get home go find my old phones screen protector box. Clearly NOT the same brand. At this point dont want to deal with either store so ill go back when i have some time. So today i decided to return the unopened screen protect.So I go to the mooresville store and i get lucky enough to have to deal with the same unhappy young lady. Tell her I'd like to return this. She like ok takes some info and says well I cant bc its been 16 days since you bought, they have a 14 day return policy But it isnt opened and I was lied to about the product. Nope cant return it. So I leave because i don't want to deal with her. So basically avoided these 2 stores. I will not be going there ever again. I work in customer service. So i know how you should be treated and the the young lady has alot to learn about that. I understand stores have return policys for a reason but its not like im trying to return a opened or damaged looking box or even trying to return it a month later.I missed it by 2 days. I want to call out two employees at this store: Mandy Taylor and the store manager, Anna Schneider. My family has four phones on our plan. Three were leased and I owned my phone that we ported over from Sprint. My phone only needed an AT&T sim card. During my two trips into the store to resolve this issue, Mandy Taylor acted like I was a major annoyance and actually recommended that I switch back to Sprint. She demonstrated no empathy, no willingness to help nor any concern over my situation. It was obvious that all she wanted was for me to just "go-away." When I spoke with the Store Manager, Anna Schneider, on the second visit, she showed no empathy, no interest to help with my situation and commented that I did not act friendly to Mandy and that is why she acted like she just wanted me to leave." Between my AT&T Wireless Plan and DirectTV, I spend nearly $6,500 a year with this company. I actually went to another store to see if they could help and they were very helpful and cooperative and tried several sim cards to see if they would work. I had to purchase another phone from that store and neither Anna nor Mandy bothered to thank me and I actually had to ask them for a receipt for the $580 phone I had to purchase from them. DO NOT PATRONIZE THE AT&T STORE AT 534 RIVER HWY UNTIL THESE TWO ARROGANT AND SELF-CENTERED INDIVIDUALS ARE NO LONGER EMPLOYED THERE! I have never wanted anyone to lose a job before this, but their attitude and lack of empathy should not be tolerated at any retail store anywhere! read more

I came into this location at 5 PM on a Friday, we were not greeted nor were we given any direction on what we needed to do to be helped. So we proceeded to sit at one of the empty tables, we waited for an hour before we were finally able to grab someone's attention. She told me she'd have someone assist me in getting our names on a list, just to give her moment. We wait 10 more minutes and watched as another gentlemen asked the same woman for assistance and she immediately put his name on the waiting list. Never in my life have I experienced such awful customer service.. makes me want to switch to Verizon. read more
