I switched from Verizon due to horrible customer service and my bill constantly raising from agreement quoted price. I switched to tmobil about 3 years ago. I was assured they had better coverage then verizon and that my area was 5G . However, the issues started early with mobile price jumping monthly bills and service is truely horrible. I moved from winston salem NC to the Charlotte NC area and was assured the service was 5G and worked great at my intended to move new address. I think dial up old school landline internet service is faster then trying to open a page on my device. Phone call service is really really bad. I keep getting messages that My device is not part of the network. Customer service has tried to fix these issues for three years. Only to once back part of their network, to still have horrible service and a day or two later be not part of their network again. They added satellite to my plan, it does not help much but does at least deliver texts for communication to the outside world. Lol service is horrible. Use a string and two cups, sound quality and connections wil work better. The T in T mobile must stand for throwing your money away read more

Every Single Time WITHOUT fail you will be waiting at least 30 minutes for anyone to help you with anything at all & everyone is extremely rude. The little short hispanic girl with the glasses and short brown curly hair is the rudest of them all, and I believe she is supposed to be a manager. I have had T Mobile for three months now. I switched from Verizon due to pricing and AWFUL customer service. After three months, Verizon coverage and performance is superior. This store has a bunch of outdated reviews that I think they're probably catching flak for. I was in Mooresville today with my wife and in-laws and while they were doing their post-Christmas shopping, I decided it was time to upgrade my phone. I hit up Yelp to find the closest store and just sighed when I saw this one had two stars. I didn't want to put up with the non-sense but I was in a time-pinch if I was going to do this and make it back to the shops to pick up the family when they were done. So I decided to grit my teeth and just do it. What I experienced was not just much better than the reviews could have predicted, but I don't even get this level of service at the 4-Star rated store in my hometown. It went like this: - I walked in and asked about stock. I was assured they had the phone I wanted in stock. - I said I'll take it, and I want it on EIP. - Victor, the rockstar that handled my transaction grabbed the phone, looked up my account and drew the paperwork. He offered me the usuals, accessories, insurance etc. I declined accessories for the new phone but did tell him I wanted some for my old one since I planned to give it to someone. He showed me where the accessories were and went and copied my license (standard for EIP) - Victor rang me up and thoroughly, yet succinctly, explained the numbers. He then asked if I wanted to put the accessories I picked out on the EIP, I declined. - While we waited for the transaction to go through, we chit-chatted about my hometown, and he explained the SIM card switch. He totally understood that to me, opening the box is a part of the experience and didn't push me to set everything up right there in the store. - I paid, he shook my hand and told me to give him a call if something else came up. I mean, that's perfection. He laid out every option, described every benefit, and didn't take anything personally when I declined. He didn't treat me like I was just a walking dollar sign, and he also didn't just rush me out the door without making sure I had a chance to understand the add-ons T-Mobile offers. The entire process took less time than it's taken you to read this review. I don't know what kind of crap has gone down at this location in the past, but in the future this store will be the bar by which my hometown store is judged. read more

Had service with them for a couple years and no problem until i went to cancel!!!! I went to return a cell phone booster and they wouldnt take it back because i cancelled my acct. and didn't have me in the system but they were going to charge me for the devise. 5 times on the phone with corperate and 5 trips to the store and still nothing! They finally sent a return label and i sent it back but they lost it! They have now charged my credit card $308.00. I gave them the tracking number and they agree they received it but they cant find it! 4 mo.s im still waiting for my money!!!! Dont get service here!!!!!!! read more

As many issues that I have had with my Blackberry's, I will continue to patronize T-Mobile because of their EXCELLENT customer service. And trust me, I am that pain in the ass customer with phantom phone issues. Actually, I have/had real life issue with my phone(s) in the last 2 years which is probably why there is a spiffy new cell tower in my backyard, which by the way, doesn't at all resemble a tree. T-Mobile has a way of fixing things, making me happy and keeping me connected that doesn't cost more than $90.00 a month. $90 you exclaim (exploding into a full blown panic attack)? If you don't want to waste your time, or be given false information and the runaround, don't visit this store. Salesman Brett, was playing with his phone while trying to run my credit. After they ran my credit and was approved they said they couldn't process my order because I had an out of state ID, promising to contact me first thing in the morning after emailing the risk department. I called at 1:30 pm the next day, Brett had not checked his email for a response. I asked to speak to the manager who wasn't helpful, asking for me to " call the number yourself" and check the status of my approval. I cannot say how disappointed I am in this store! The salesman told me I had a good signal at my address and proceeded to sell me 5 devices, taking at least three and a half hours to me get out of the store. The store manager never bothered to come over and introduce himself or apologize for my wait time. When I took the devices home, I had no signal whatsoever. Please keep in mind that I told the salesman these devices were to run my business. When we got hold of another salesman there, he said that he verified that we barely had a 2G signal at our address and he would have advised us not to use T Mobile. He said the first salesman was just out to make a commission. I have been working with T Mobile corporate over the phone and they have that much better to deal with. I have to use my own wireless network to place calls and take calls in my home however, which is disappointing. Don't deal with this store!!! read more

If you live and work in the area outside of Charlotte, the T-Mobile coverage is terrible. After almost two years of dropped calls when we are at home, inability to text or call from the area where I work, and almost zero data usage because apps and Safari only function when we are connected to WiFi, we have changed to Verizon. If you decide to leave T-Mobile for another carrier, do not expect T-Mobile to unlock your phone in a timely manner. We waited 24 hours for an email with instructions, only to find that the email tells us to wait another 24 hours before the process will work. These same instructions are posted on T-Mobile's website with no warning that the unlocking process will take 48 hours or more. We have been to the T-Mobile store twice, have contacted T-Mobile online, and have spent a lot of time on the phone with customer service, with no help or explanation except that we just have to wait. read more

Clowns running this place. This was my worst retail experience ever. There was 1 other customer in the store and when I went in a set of speakers were cranked all the way up. I couldnt even hear the person who yell-greeted me as I walked in. I walked to the offending speakers and turned them down. The man-child working there asked why I turned down his game and walked across the room and cranked it back up. I had to leave before I hurt somebody's feelings. avoid this store at all costs. They advertise a wonderful deal. I traded in completely paid for new phones to start service with Tmobile. There is little to no reception in all of the Mooresville area. Especially Statesville. They let me out of my service because they knew they dont have service in the area they have a store is all They insisted I had to continue with the phone purchase. The offer was 4 lines of which I only needed three and never had a fourth line. They forgot to disconnect the 4th line and I kept getting bills for service of a line I never had. not once did I get a bill for the right purchase of my phones. I went in the store many times asking for a correct amount to pay. I spoke with the manager Michael Vittatoe and also Cynthia Montieth many times. They were very unhelpful not once taking responsibility to fix my bill blaming customer service. I offered to give the phones back numerous times just give me the correct amount I owe not a $800 bill for a line I never had. I visited the store a total of 8 times with no help. I finally spoke to a customer service rep who worked out a deal with me to return the phones. I had to get new phones elsewhere. When I returned with my phones and my check, they held it. A week later I called and they said they had called all three numbers on my account of which there is no record on any of our phones that Cynthia ever called,nor did she leave a message. So 6 days later they tell me they have just been holding them because they do not take phones or checks. Which the customer service people are totally unaware of this procedure. All the while saying he will do anything to help but never once did one thing to fix their false advertisement. Any how, the MOST unprofessional business in the state of NC. Do not be fooled by their offers, Your calls will not go through, calls will be dropped, no service even less than a mile from their store and the worst customer service in the store that you will ever experience unless you are purchasing. read more
