We came in here as this is now our local store. We had to return two iPhone protector covers that Hillsboro sold us and they were not for our phones. Twice the same Hillsboro location gave us the wrong covers. So frustrating. Newberg returned them no problem. We went back a few days later to look at wifi/hotspot options for our new living situation. The salesman was honest with us and our needs. This store has the most horrific customer service. The only other place that ranks at the bottom of the barrel with them is Xfinity. At all costs, do NOT do business with ATT. Also, if you pay off your recently-deceased mother's iPhone, they refuse to remove the carrier lock. Understanding that corporate is responsible for whatever carrier locks they have in place which also directly violate the FTC's Feb 2024 law changes, no one in the store will even tell you that. They'll tell you to call in and sit in phone tree hell eleven different times until you get someone that will tell you the rules. And as soon as you also say you're moving your dead mom's husband to your plan to save him money, they'll sit down, watch YouTube videos on their phone and won't even talk to you or assist you with assistance on the account you're closing, which is ironic considering you're closing it because your mom died and your parents were severely overpaying for two phone lines and one financed phone. Happened on 10/29 to me. I'll do everything in my power to make sure everyone I know is aware to not do business with ATT (and Xfinity whose Newberg store is equally horrific). read more

The worst experience I have ever had with a retail store and with AT&T especially. I have been an ATT customer for over 20 years. Went to store to move my 5 lines from residential to a new business account that needed to be set up in person; to a new business Elite unlimited service level; to add a new line and to upgrade to 2 new iPhone 12s. After 2 hour wait, I walked away with 2 new iPhones and a sim card for a new line, but no new service or migration to business. The manager said he would work on it and get me set up the next day. This was 8 days ago. I called every day and he called back only once - telling me he was working on it. I finally called the business service office yesterday. They set up my new business account in an hour. And they transferred me to the service department that was unable to transfer residential to the new business account for another 24 hours. They told me they would call me back at 2pm today/Friday. They did not. I have been on the phone with ATT now for 2.5 hours, being passed around. I found out they had tripled the monthly residential bill in the process. Finally got Maria on the phone who said she would adjust the residential service and give me special signature discounts to my new business elite service. She then said she would help with the department that would transfer the service. Then she disappeared. I have now been waiting on a line for 30 minutes. Unsure whether she actually made the fixes or whether I will get all I need done today. This is hell. read more

He was so knowledgeable and answered all of our questions and went above and beyond. He was very professional, courteous and friendly. I wish all ATT service people were like that. I just walked in to the store where I bought my new phone I needed help backing it up to the cloud because I do not have wifi , the manager looked at me and said I could do that on my own ! I said I needed his help setting up my new phone , and he looked at me again and said "I could do that if I know my password" I then said "if you do t want to help me I can go somewhere else" He didn't even care! I can't believe it. I live in California and came out here for work 11/21. I bought a car charger which I learned later was well over priced. Came back today 12/22 (from California mind you) and they tell me that it's too late to return. That's terrible service. I'm only one day late for someone who lives 2 states away and it's holiday season. A time where most stores extend their return policies. I'm definitely not coming back and don't recommend anyone else shop here either. TIP: You can find all the items they have in store online on Amazon.com for half the price, or less! read more

I don't normally write reviews but this store is awful at customer service. Management really needs to take some action here. My first time stopping by, I opened the front door and out wafted a horrible body odor. Nasty. Now, understand I dont care about anyone's weight, but please bathe if you are larger. Actually, that goes for anyone. The customer service rep was very big and smelled like he hadn't bathed in weeks. I should not be able to open a store door and smell this guy from about 25-30feet away. His attitude was no better. He was helping a couple that looked pretty pained and he just looked at me, didnt welcome me, and just said "yeah, I'm going to be busy for about 30 minutes. Come back then." Righty-O. Not... The next visit was today at 4:45pm. Right about when everone is getting off work and thought it might be busy again. Nope. The doors were locked and there was a handwritten note saying "be back at 5:15". Store hours are until 8pm. So I left and probably won't try again. Just sayin... read more
