Upon his arrival he informed me that I was only receiving an SD receiver so I would not be able to view any of my HD channels that I had paid for. Why would dish sell me HD channels but not tell me I wouldn't be able to view them? So I had to call and sort it out, and pay $100 to upgrade to an HD receiver. They sent a guy out to upgrade my receiver. Once I had the HD receiver I discovered that I didn't have any ESPN channels in HD. Dish had flat out lies to me and told me they were in my package when they were not. So I had to call in again and increase my monthly payments just to get the channels I was originally promised.

The third person I talked with gave me a new service date but told me I first had to pay the monthly bill for the old apartment. I was given a $50 discount for my "troubles," so I gave the rep my credit card number (second big mistake). As it turned out we where not actually talking to Xfinity/Comcast customer service but a company called H&H Services who placed five so-called COMCAST charges on our credit cards totaling $638. At no time did the persons we talked with identify themselves as H&H Services employees and when I checked with Comcast's billing department I was told there was no record of these payments and they had no contract with H&H Services for scheduling service calls. My credit card company, Capital One, contacted H&H Services and was told they had a no refund policy and dismissed my dispute. My sister's dispute with Truist bank is still pending. At best we were misled by every person at H&H Services we talked with at worst we were . . . . .

I make my payment on the 6th of each month. Today I go online to pay and find that my bill is $5 higher than it was before with no explanation. They tell me because I am 20 days late, they now charge a late fee. I tell them I am not 20 days late that my payment is due on the 2nd and it is only the 6th. They then say the 20 days starts when they send the bill out on the 13th of the month. I then ask why don't it say that on line, but says current bill due date is 1/2/17. I ask if I can change my pay date so I don't get the late fee. They say NO! There is nothing we can do. I know this is not going to make any difference, These large companies can say an do anything they want. Receiving $5 more a month from thousands of customers is worth millions of dollars.
