BE AWARE! I went to this store in May 2023 to get phone plan they told me that getting a hotspot and DirectTV would give me a discount and bring my bill to $220, so I did add them to my plan. Since I started my bill is $500 on average and I get billed separately for DirectTV in the amount of $85. Once you sign up you are screwed because I went to the store multiple times and all what they told me is wait the bill will adjust after the first 3 billing cycles. I waited and kept going there on a monthly basis, and a year later I'm being charged the same. If you wait after the 3 months, they tell you it is too late you should've come earlier. If you call At&t customer support, they will tell you they have nothing to do with the stores. Technically, I paid the price of devices multiple times that I didn't need. I have contacted better business bureau on this company do to One of the worst experiences I've ever had at a AT&T store. I bought a charger that only lasted a few weeks. I let the store manager know and he says he called the district manager, but they said they could not return it because of a 14 day return policy. I was not trying to return it as I was trying to exchange it the charger was $42. I was put in a position where I was working nearby and did not have time to contact AT&T directly. but I do not feel that I should've been charged another $42 for a charger that was defective. This is the first time that I feel like I have been screwed by a AT&T store. I understand that a store has to make money, but I also understand that they have to take care of the people that serve them. The manager that I spoke to today was not helpful in taking care of a customers needs. I am very disappointed in my interaction, but I am assuming they are very happy about getting $84 from me for the price of two chargers. Our exchange student paid $60 yesterday to get a monthly plan on his phone. The technician had trouble getting it to work, but he just sent him home and said that after a couple of hours it should work. It did not, and still has not worked. We went back to the store, and it has been determined that the technician did not realize that the phone was not compatible, and the manager said that it was the technician's fault, but they are unwilling to do anything or give him his money back. It's unacceptable. This student is here on scholarship. He's not one of the students that has wealthy parents who paid for him to come. read more

I told an associate wearing a septum piercing that I was having trouble getting off my dads phone plan and switching to prepaid because my dad was having anxiety about his bill changing and wouldn't give me authorization. I believe the associate's name is Olivia. She said she would be willing to talk to my dad. After she spoke with my dad and told him to call 611, she tried offering me numerous plans after I told her many times I was only looking for prepaid. She kept pushing plans on me saying, "But don't you want a smart watch? Who doesn't want a smart watch?" I found this to be extremely rude among the fact she was wearing a septum piercing at her job. After I refused her sales attempts many times and continuously explained I wanted to switch to prepaid, she said that 611 had to deal with it. I proceeded to call 611 and they said the sales associate is supposed to set it up. She then started arguing with the person on the 611 number. After I decided to just leave, as I was headed for the door, she says to me, "hey, your dad seemed pretty chill. Maybe you are the one being dramatic." After this whole incident, I am considering leaving AT&T. I have never had such unprofessional treatment from a business. read more

Terrible customer service. Spent 4 hours setting up a new phone which then broke in 5 days. The manager, Wayne sent us to the Salisbury location to replace the phone. Salisbury location does not replace inventory from another store. When we went back in they told us "too bad" you will need to access the warranty. Why we weren't told that to begin with! The reps were dismissive when asked about where the manager was. We were told that "he needs to live his life and is not always in the store"! What kind of customer service is that? The only good thing about the store is working with Alford Hardy. If you need something find him to help you. Otherwise choose a different store to do any AT&T business! read more
