I would give a zero review if I could for the service received at the AT&T store at 1263 Wall Ave, Ste 3-B, Ogden Utah. My daughter wanted to "upgrade" her phone. Instead, they set her up w/ new service w/ a second phone number-- so now she was paying for service in two lines. That's now what she wanted. Trying to correct the error was a nightmare. I spoke with the store manager (Alex) who totally gaslit me and offered no help. Thankfully I was able to get help after calling AT&T customer service and received a knowledgeable rep who helped me resolve this problem. If I could give this location 0 stars I would. My husband arrived there around 6pm. There was a couple people in front of him no big deal, but then it took TWO hours before anyone even approached him. They said they will be with him shortly. Another 30 minutes pass by and a lady came up and told him. My manager is getting mad at me u need to leave I have to be out of here in 5 minutes. Don't u think that would have been appropriate to tell him much further into him being there the TWO HOURS AND 30 MINUTES. Absolutely HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!! I work in customer service and would be fired if I told a customer after waiting as long as he waited that he needed to leave without him being serviced. Unacceptable, terrible business practice. Clearly don't value your customers. Stay clear from this sh!t hole. Another customer that was there joined in to defend my husband saying that was absolutely ridiculous. Which it was !!!!. if i could leave a negative review I could your garbage of a store doesn't even deserve a star. Lets start with Bradley the distract manager for Utahs northern region and apparently Idaho? per the agent I talked to at your ogden store today at 1:47pm BRADLEY! I get that you are busy and clearly have too much on your plate. But I have been waiting for a call back for over three weeks. I have gone into the store more times then I can count and have talked to your smug store manager Louis and requested a call back and have had to rewrite my number more times than I can count. I went in today and a darling tan pretty boy was working. However, this boy had no clue on how to empathize and solve customers frustrations. He clearly had no support or direction with how to handle anything other than selling phones and it was apparent. He himself was frustrated as Bradley his district manager was out on lasik surgery for the week and was on do not disturb as he's been trying to get ahold of him and per this agent he mentioned "god knows where louis is because he's no where to be found" (I did record my conversation with this gentleman as i've felt the need to cover my bases in case I need to get legal involved for lack of care to my frustration and errors on att's end. I also recorded my first and I believe third interaction with Louis) Bradley! Please call me! I need to get ahold of you urgently. Please do your job or hire someone better than the twat you have managing that store who clearly doesn't know his role in having an employee who had to call out for a funeral, or actually passing along information to you, or talking respectful to a paying customer. I work hospitality, I get how overwhelming customer service can be post covid but for crying out-loud train your employees. Give them a contact to call if you're going to be out. Follow up with your store managers to make sure they are their for your teams while your out. The sales people I met in this store have poor people skills. One of the three argued with me about when the second generation IPhone SE was released, as if I care. Then another guy took issue with showing me the different colors of IPhones they have in stock. He acted like I wanted to steal one. It was very awkward and I didn't feel welcome in there at all. Never going back. It's a shame, I was excited not to have to go to Riverdale to buy a phone but ended up having to go anyway. read more

The reps here are liars. The manger (the guy with a beard) is kind of full of himself and makes it seem like he doesn't want to help current customers. We went in the store just to change our plan because the rep told us we were going to get the higher tier plan for the price of the lower one and when we told him we wanted to change it, he explained to us in a rude tone and manner that we don't have to come in store to do it and could've done it online. We wouldn't have to come in or do anything if we got what was promised. And on top of that he dated our plan change on the same day we went in and now we have a prorated charge on our account and told us it's impossible to have the plan change on our next billing cycle which is a lie because any phone company that I have been to and worked for let's you to avoid proration. read more

1263 Wall Ave, Suite 3-B, Ogden, UT 84404 My father recently passed and to consolidate my mothers accounts we are moving her phone to my family plan. AT&T has been legally and morally reprehensible during this transaction. After having had an AT&T account for over 10 years (grossly over paying during the entire time) AT&T would not unlock my mothers phone to make it portable despite the fact that the device had long been paid for, that (2) the account was in my fathers name and we provided a death certificate, so for her to continue solely AT&T demanded she sign a whole new contract (3) we provided a death certificate which under Utah law states mandates that AT&T release the current account. Here is the time line. 1. March 1 - we provide a death certificate to store located at 1263 Wall Ave, Suite 3-B, Ogden, UT 84404 2. Ask for a pin and unlocking of phone 3. AT&T apparently closes operations for the weekend, so we are told to wait until Monday 4. March 6 my elderly, very recently widowed mother spends 2 hours at store located at : 1263 Wall Ave, Suite 3-B, Ogden, UT 84404 Before finally being advised to drive to another AT&T store located 30 miles from her house. Which she does, waiting there another 2 hours before being told that the phone would be unlocked and pin # provided on the next business day. 5. March 7 my mother goes to the Verizon store to transfer the phone. Once on the 1800 line AT&T again refuses to unlock the phone, despite the fact that the devices and long been paid for, over ten years of having been a customer, violation of state law which mandates the customer being allowed to terminate the contract at the presentation of death certificate. 6. March 7 -6-45 pm. My mother from the Verizon store, very distraught, calls the AT&T store located at 1263 Wall Ave, Suite 3-B, Ogden, UT 84404 and is told gruffly the manager that it's not his problem and that it's just too bad. At this point AT&T has turned off the phone, my mother is calling me from the Verizon store employee phone and my health impaired recently widowed mother has to try and drive home without a phone and no service for an entire night. The Verizon store employee is so rattled he tries to arrange an uber for my mother (as she has no phone of her own at this point) and on the phone with me is clearly worried about her health. 7. In total, between drive time and hours spent on the 1800 *help* line over 14 hours were spent with zero result. All my mothers contact and information cannot port to the new phone (which we are forced to buy) and the old phone goes in the trash heap (nice environmental work at&t). Moreover the strain to my mom in incalculable, having lost many photos and notes , and text messages between she and my father. ATT&T corporate and the store have behaved reprehensibly. I went to the AT&T store to buy a wireless kit to use at A campground near pine view, it was supposed to be about $90.00 for the device and $80.00 a month for the Service. The store agreed and I thought that was what they sold me. I could not read the small print on the contract so I took them at their word, well their word was Useless because they lied to me and sold me a contract and the deal was so bad I later found out that Not only was the monthly price far higher than agreed But I went over the allotted MB at least twice a day just watching movies like I usually do. After using this box For 3 months my bill was over $800.00!!! That's right, Over $800.00 ! That's on top of the $175.00 per month Fee and the $175.00 to get out of the contract that they Tricked me into! So to have internet to watch movies On for 3 months Cost Me At Least $1150.00 One Thousand, One Hundred and Fifty Dollars!
