Bring your pillow! We came on a Sunday afternoon to check on our plan (wanted to see what adding another line would do). We were "second in line", and due to Covid restrictions were told to wait in our car. After 35 min I decided to go in to check on our status. We are now next in line. After an hour total of waiting, we were up. Given the sheet with plans, reset our voicemail and out the door in 5 min. Seriously, they should hook up with a mattress store and send people next door to take a nap while you wait. Waiting an hour per customer is just crazy. read more

I had tried for two and a half months to get a phone account transferred (ported) from Verizon to AT&T with absolutely no luck hours wasted talking to the "Chat" line to no avail. In total frustration o posted a "hot" note on Facebook and Twitter - one response told me I would get assistance in a moment - five hours later nothing A friend sent me a not to go to the AT&T store on 135th After a ten minute conversation with Kelvin and a 10 minute store visit - it was all done! They are long on promises short on delivery. Be very careful believing anything they tell you. The follow up from staff is nonexistent. Oh they will tell you they are all about taking care of the customer but they don't follow up on promises made. I was with ATT for 14 years and because of this store and their staff, I'm now with Verizon. Beware and don't believe anything that comes out of their mouth. read more

They seem to focus on sales more than service. If you stop in for a quick service question, you are put in the same line as all of the more involved sales transactions. They do have a greeter but he says that he can not help with any simple transactions while he watches the door. It certainly does not seem very efficient and certainly not customer friendly for those who have already committed to the company. While we've been waiting, two additional staff members have been standing around messing with their iPads and phones. It's possible that they are doing something important, but if so, I would suggest doing it in the back away from the eyes of those of us who are standing around waiting for someone to help us. It just makes the wait more frustrating! read more

I was told by Mike in the store that I would get a gift card to reimburse me for the $100 installation fee. 3 months later still no refund. Called the corporate and they said there's nothing on my account for this reimbursement. I was also told by Mike that I would be charged $50 a month for 12 months for Internet and I specifically asked if I would be charged for equipment fees or anything added that my bill would be more than $50. He assured me that I would not be charged for equipment and no fees would be added so my bill would be $50 even each month. I've had 2 bills now and each has charged me $60 a month. Including a $10 equipment fee. So far spent 50+ mins on the phone with AT&T to get this process fixed. Still on hold. Which is also an annoying thing that you cannot go in person to AT&T to get these things figured out in person or return equipment. For the service itself, for $60 a month I canceled my service as it constantly lags. Cuts out randomly. Went with Google Fiber instead. read more

Call today and they state no shipment and most likely won't be for weeks. I ask what can we do and he states we can order you the phones. I had a wonderful experience at the AT&T Store at 6595 W 119th St, Leawood, KS 66209. The customer service I received was exceptional. When I arrived, an employee whose name begins with "A", greeted me warmly and helped me activate my new phone. She efficiently transferred all the information from my old phone to the new one. What impressed me the most was her multitasking abilities, as she assisted two other customers simultaneously without compromising the quality of service. She provided professional, courteous, and friendly attention, which made me feel valued as a customer. She provided exemplary service. I had to make a very important call to make, and my phone was obviously out of commission. She went so far as to let me use her personal phone. That was an act of personal kindness and super commitment to her customers. Later, I discovered that she is a manager at the store and a super representative. Even when I returned two days later to turn in my old phone, I received excellent assistance from another employee named Connor. He patiently listened to my questions and answered them thoroughly, displaying both knowledge and efficiency. He was not only professional but also incredibly kind, explaining and showing me what he was doing as he completed the process of 'erasing' my trade-in phone. He had me on my way in less than ten minutes. read more

My experience with this store has been nothing but awful. After deciding to switch to AT&T to connect with the DIRECT TV I have I spent 5 hours in the store getting 4 phones and 2 tablets setup. Throughout this process the employee, Brittany, who I will name because you should avoid her if you are in there, sat on the phone trying to fix an issue with the numbers. I can understand parts of this were not her fault. However while this occurred herself and the manager brought out several items and described them as free with this or that. This included a Samsung Tab E. After spending almost 5 hours in the store we were finally able to finishing paying the taxes on the phone and for the other items. Once paid we were told that they would email the receipt for everything. In most instances this is just fine and works great everywhere else that does this. No receipt has ever come. Now 18 days later and when looking at the first bill I find that nothing has been setup correctly. What was supposed to be done 4 Smartphones 1 IPad at $10/mo 1 Samsung Tablet - Described as a free gift. What was there: 2 separate accounts 4 Smartphones 1 IPad at $40/0 2 Samsung Tablets at $40/mo ( One not activated but charged for) A bill totally over $900 for what should have been around $400 Now this all was fixed by AT&T customer service. That is the only reason I can give 1 star. The really bad part of this is when we went and got a copy of the receipt from before we find that $300 was charged for the IPad that was supposed to be $50 from a promotion and that Brittany should have given us a receipt in the first place. Now Brittany working on commission has gotten money she earned through lies and deception. On top of all of this to get the $250 back for the IPad my father who is sick needs to bring his IPad in and let them return it and resell it to him. Overall AT&T as a service has been average. Their Customer service on the phone was hit and miss depending on who I talked to. The real issue is the deceptive practices and incompetent employees and management at this store. I welcome any contact from the store or district manager on this issue as I it is not resolved. read more

Stopped in this store to speak with someone about possibly upgrading my family plan to a plan with more data. I was greeted by a friendly AT&T rep (I think his name was Jaf? - sorry I don't remember!) He was great to work with and really listened to what it was I wanted and did not try to sell me something I did not need or want. In the end, he helped get me set up with a new internet plan and went above and beyond what I had expected! I met the manager, David, as well as he helped in getting my new plan setup as well. All in all it was a great experience and I was glad to have been helped quickly and that both employees listened to me rather than trying to sell me something I didn't want. read more

Stopped in this AT&T store to upgrade one of my four smart phones as well as purchase a tablet. Was greeted by a dark haired salesman. While I was explaining the purpose of my visit, he interrupted me and held his personal cell phone up as he explained he loved the song playing overhead and he wanted to Soundhound it to find out what artist it was. Today we went back into the store to talk about a bill that was sent to us that wasn't supposed to be. We just switched to at&t and also upgraded our phones last week, but today when we came back in Justin was helping us and wouldn't listen to what I was saying when I was trying to explain we were mischarged. He repeatedly kept telling us that he would bet his job and bank account that his estimate of our supposed bill was accurate. Not only is that unprofessional but it was degrading to both of us. He was acting like we were both stupid, when in all reality we were in the right in this scenario. Our official bill should not have been until we turned all of our older phone in so that we can receive the discounted rate for them "buying" our phones. He overall basically said the estimate was inaccurate at the end of the conversation but nothing felt like it was really resolved. I never like leaving reviews but today it was necessary because of this experience. read more

If I could give a -10 star rating for this store I would. Here are the cliff notes of my experience: 1. I needed a personal cell (have a work cell, but decided to keep them separate). 2. Walked in and worked with Blake B. 3. Over $1000 later, I walked out with a new iPhone, iPad, and power beats head phones. Why the extras? Keep reading... 4. Blake told me that I needed the head phones because the Apple 7 phone changed their ear buds and they're terrible. Plus, there's a new 'extension plugin' required to use them. This is not true. They plug right in and work great. I'll admit, I've wanted the power bears for a while...but certainly did not HAVE to have them in order to listen to my phone. 5. The iPad: there was a promo for the iPad: Buy a new phone, get an iPad for $100. Nice, I thought. I didn't want a contract on my phone and I told Blake that I didn't want one on the iPad. When I got my first bill - low behold, I'm in a 2yr contract. 6. Bought the $40 glass screen protector. Was not told I needed to register it. It broke, so when I went to replace it...I had to pay the $40 again vs. $4. 7. Tried to return the iPad after I got my bill...was told I had 30 days. Went in on the 17th day to return. Nope, can't return...iPads have to be returned in 14 days. This place is worse than any car buying experience I've ever had...worse than any buying experience I've ever had on anything. Picture a scenario where a sales rep is talking fast, setting everything up, circling numbers on a 10+ page 'My Summary' print out....In fact, I'm embarrassed at how much I got taken for. That $100 iPad, will actually be costing me $500 by the time my contract is up. Good luck to everyone who walks in their door. Bring a lawyer. read more
