Total bait and switch transaction. Walked in knowing exactly what we wanted - 300Mb internet service under the current $35 bundle promo for being wireless customers. Salesperson claimed we had a deal on our account that would allow us to sign up for the 500Mb service for the same rate. Clearly too good to be true as we're now facing a $70 bill and the store says there's nothing they can do. In about 3 months we will get a $20 credit making the plan $50/month which is NOT what we asked for. Wish we had just taken matters into our own hands and signed up for service online. At least there would've been complete transparency and not false salesmanship. Avoid this store! read more

We just waited 45 minutes. Were never acknowledged and only one person was working. I understand phone problems can be complex but common courtesy says you acknowledge a customer and let them know how long the wait will be. This business is only open until 7. Staff it so that there is more then one person working or at least train your customer service rep to multi task and acknowledge people's presence. Awful. Walked out and still nothing. She didn't even act like we were there. Unacceptable. read more

I came into AT&T a mess. I just had a really bad day. I was helped by a retail sales consultant, first name Maria. She was fabulous. Great people, skills and very knowledgeable. Was in and out of the phone store faster than I ever have been. Made me aware of anywhere I could save money and was able to multitask. Best experience I have ever had. read more

Today has been cell phone hell! It will be obvious to anyone reading this that I am beyond technologically challenged! I started the day with a malfunctioning cell phone. After going to Phone Medic, buying and returning a new battery that didn't help the problem, talking to the experts at Best Buy, calling Samsung, and wandering around Oak Park Mall searching for the AT&T store/kiosk that my GPS insisted was there (not!), I finally found the AT&T store NEAR the mall. Once there, I received excellent customer service from Cristian, even though I was not there to buy anything. He was very patient with me, answered all my questions, and walked me through the process to back up my phone via several different channels and apps, and how to do a factory reset if needed. He didn't even hesitate when I asked him to repeat something. Fortunately the store was not busy, as he spent a lot of time with me, without ever making me feel stupid. Cristian deserves a medal! read more

Just went in to notify Att that I am leaving the country and asked if there was anything I needed to do to prepare my phone. She told me I needed to call customer service to purchase an international plan. I told her I wasn't looking to change plans and I was simply wondering what setting I need to put my phone in. Awful customer service. I came in looking to update my iPhone. The associate working was sitting there on her phone. I approach her as she continues to be seated on her phone and asked her some questions about the different models which she just says the pro is better then the regular... (obviously). Being very vague, she continues to sit there on her phone looking uninterested as I'm trying to figure out what the differences are and what would work best for me. I'm not high maintenance by any means but that was just an awful experience. I guess I will do my own research and honestly it is enough for me to switch carriers. read more

I have to say, this AT&T store completely (pleasantly) surprised me. I had been putting off upgrading my phone for a long time, because every time I've visited a store in the past, it was not a great experience. However, it finally got to the point where I could no longer avoid the AT&T store, and after yesterday, I'm kicking myself for waiting as long as I did! The minute I walked in the door, I was being helped by Josh. I let him know that I wanted to upgrade my phone, and which phone I wanted, and he jumped on things immediately. He also looked at my current plan and monthly average usage, and found me a newer, better plan that will save me some cash. He wasn't pushy at all, and didn't try to sell us things that we didn't need. My husband expressed some interest in switching TV and Internet provider, and Josh quickly got us a quote and printed out a listing of the channels that they offer, but didn't try to pressure us into making a decision then and there. Less than 20 minutes after I walked in, I was walking back out with a new phone and a feeling of satisfaction that everything had taken place so quickly, easily, and pleasantly. I will definitely come back to this location when I'm ready to upgrade again. read more

This store must be in a feud with the neighboring Chick fil A and this unsuspecting mom, who also happens to be an AT&T customer, didn't appreciate it being taken out on her. Unfortunately, did not get the employees name, but found the whole experience petty and disappointing-I expect more AT&T. read more

The guy who came to set us up with our WiFi and Cable USED my laptop charger for my tv WITHOUT asking. I needed to charge my laptop, and I could not find my laptop charger. I eventually found it nearly tv and pulled on it, only to have my tv turned off. I tried to turn it back on to no avail. Only to find out that my laptop charger was being used for my TV. I went to plug into my laptop still a bit angry about the while tv thing, only to find that my laptop had said "Plugged in, not charging" My charger has NEVER done this before the cable guy has used it WITHOUT any permission for my tv. I am convinced that the laptop guy has ruined my laptop charger, and I'm extremely disappointed about having to buy a new one. I'm extremely angry because now my tv NOR my laptop works. Would not recommend to anyone - we signed a contract for a set price, was charged way over that monthly... Went into the store multiple times and no one could "help" or do anything about it. Spent numerous hours on the phone with customer service who also were not helpful....- had to go into the store on 3 different occasions and told they could not do anything... finally spoke with a manager who made it a HUGE deal/favor to credit me what we were owed. The assistant manager ( she couldn't care less..impossible To deal with) told me she couldn't let us pay off our $1200 we now owe for our brand new phones in the store so we could switch to Verizon same day etc. went to a different ATT and ALL was taken care of in 10 minutes. The other manager apologized continuously for the horrible/embarrassing service at this store- we Paid our phones off, he helped us unlocked them And we ran to Verizon as fast as possible! In 3 months we paid almost $2500 to ATT... Don't do it- HORRIBLE cell phone service accompanied by atrocious customer service- expensive lesson learned read more

Granted I did not buy anything the day I went to this store, but compared to my previous At&t experiences, this place was great. We were helped very quickly. The sales person was knowledgeable and explained all the plan details to me. She made valuable suggestions and tried to save us a buck by recommending some other options. She also was not pushy at all. It was great. A very positive experience and I will go there again when I have to buy my next stupid expensive phone! read more

After a terrible experience at the Merriam store, I ended up at Oak Park. Completely different and positive experience with Cristian. Knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, and patient with transfer of data and phone sale. I was ready to give up on AT&T after the Merriam store visit but I'm ok with staying with them even though my contract has ended. Go to this location to conduct your AT&T business. read more

They will lie, cheat, and not give you all required information about their products, services, or promotions. They will make you feel like you are less than. I hope ATT fires everyone in this store and start with a new crew because the people they have are extremely rude and less than helpful and to top it off, some of the employees here have discriminatory practices as I was treated poorly because of who I am today by a bigoted and rude employee. read more

We just bought our phones a couple months ago and we love them. Switched from t-mobile. We got so much help and very friendly service.

This review is not based on this office or employees of this office. This review is based on AT&T as a company. I tried for a week and a half to get service. DO NOT call their 800 number or agents to sign you for service. They do not know what they are doing and they do not communicate when issues come up. 2 Different days were set up for install and both days we were blown off. Their excuse for not calling us. "I don't know." Finally received an answer and basically they are to busy outside now to install. We have the equipment from our previous house and we would have made this an easy install. Buyer beware as this is a poorly run company who does not care about one individual account. I have never seen a more screwed up situation. Will NEVER use their service again. read more

They tried really hard, but it's difficult to please customers when what you are selling is horrible service. In my small business, my AT&T and direct tv service is my biggest stress. I don't depend on consistent service (my phones, cell phone and direct tv don't work during city-wide outages, or once they switched my phone from land line to uverse without my permission and my phones didn't work right for months). I've been promised credits I've yet to see, promised meetings with small business experts who don't show up/ won't return calls. I think they are overwhelmed by taking over smaller companies, but I guarantee they could care less about their customers. read more

Customer service is a joke! In store someone selling me something great! But customer sevice on the phone lol. Never will i get my internet and cable through them again. I cant wait till my contract ends. The last 5 months has been the biggest headache ive ever been through. Haven't had the speeds promised, or if they do configure my signals its only for a brief time when the tech is here. Havent been able to put cartoons on for my kids in about 4.5 months. Netflix? Ha dream on only if ya enjoy the buffering screen. So after 3 months of fighting to get a tech out here, i get my bill only to find out ive been taken out of a bundled deal with the bundle deal price. My bill went from 90$ combined to 270$ with a bunch of extra charges and fees ive never seen before. But good thing i called the customer service line to be put on hold and have my called "dropped" 3 times. I never recommend AT&T to anyone for anything. read more
