I found AK Cell repair open- working in a cold office - after only recently getting power back to there shop as much of the valley is still without electrical power. I walked in with a dead phone- and out with one that was alive and functioning. They offer practical, price conscious solutions and options other then "you need a new phone" which is often the big box store solution. Prior to going over there in the windstorm I called to see if they would even be open at a time when many businesses are closed due to the weather. Their reply, "We will be here, as long as the power stays on." With out reservation I reccomend them to care for your phone which may have sustained trauma and may be on lifesupport at a time when you don't need an expensive new phone to pay for becuase your are trying to figure out how to pay for the repair to your roof that is flying down the street, or how to pay to get your pipes thawed out. Although the satellite services and billing have been great it is only because we get them through the national directv company. The co. in wasilla has been rude and shows no inclination to help the customer once you have signed up thru them. They are doing a diservice to the main company with their lack of assistance regardless of what problem or question you may have. In the year we have been w/Directv I have called two separate times with as many questions and both times I was skoken to in a rude and hurried manner. I thought gci was bad ro deal with but this company makes gci look good.
