I would never go here again and I suggest that others do not either. It is a NYS mandate that you must wear masks when entering the store which I am glad about but the employee and manager were not wearing masks when I entered. I had to ask the employee to put on a mask when she was dealing with me (I HAD TO ASK!) and the manager NEVER put on a mask at all. If they truly believe this is good customer service and that they care about their customers They DON"T! Even aside from that situation the customer service was terrible, the young woman who helped me took forever and even when I left I still had to call AT&T myself (which took an hour to get thru) and finish up the transaction. Purchased a new phone. Found no receipt in my bag. Was told they forgot to include it. But it was never printed out because the printer wasn't working. So I was lied to. They emailed me a receipt with a different name on it, and the manager said there was nothing he could do. Incompetent and poorly trained staff. Avoid this store! read more

My daughter purchased a new phone from this store for $1000 only to find after getting home it was blocked and couldn't be used. We contacted AT&T who reported the phone is blocked because it is reported as a stolen phone!! Yea so the store sold this phone as a "new phone" knowing well that it wasn't new and passed it off as new. Ild hate to think they sold the phone knowing it was stolen and basically useless. Used to be a store that i dreaded going to. The new manager and staff is really helpful now and is trustworthy. Give them a try now before having to take the long drive to another store. read more

This place is a NIGHTMARE -- STAY AWAY! I went in there while visiting friends and working in the area last weekend because my iPhone 5s suddenly cracked on the side (i didn't even drop it). I wanted the 6s but they didn't have any in stock. They directed me to the iPhone 7. I asked RIGHT AWAY "are there any major differences I should know about?" The manager, George, told me, "No, just newer software, better camera, and few updated features." I also specifically asked, "does it need any different type of chargers, wires, etc." Again, I was told "no". Satisfied, I left the phone to have all of my stuff from the cloud put on there, and was relieved to get a new iphone right away. When I came back to pick it up after dinner, a salesperson named Jose checked me out. I didn't ask him ANY questions about it, I had already asked anything I could think of with George, I was only picking up the phone, I had already paid. I went about my weekend and returned to NYC. For those of you who don't know, New Paltz is about a 2 hour drive from NYC/Bronx. At that point, I realized there is no headphone jack! You can use the earbuds provided, but they go into the lightning port, therefore making it impossible to charge the phone and listen at the same time. Also, they don't sell those kind of earbuds in any place around like CVS or the airport. Apparently this phone is designed for bluetooth, which also is expensive and not readily available, needs to be charged, etc. I NEVER would have bought this phone if I had known there was no headphone jack. They clearly just wanted to sell me something, and since they didn't have any 6s in stock, conveniently left that out. So of course I figured I could go to my local AT&T store to exchange it. NO! Maybe Im the only person who didn't know this, but I thought AT&T stores were like Target or any other chain store. But NO! I had to drive all the way back up to New Paltz just to return this iphone. There is only a 14 day window to return, so of course I had to go right away and actually missed work in order to do it. On top of all of this, George wasn't in, but Jose was. He insisted that HE told me about the headphone jack, which of course he didn't because all he did was hand me the phone and I left. And when I got slightly upset about it, mainly because he had another customer with a massive, multi-device upgrade going on, and he knew I drove all the way back from the city, he then got all pissy with me and said "don't blame me that you didn't listen when I told you about the headphone jack because you were drunk!" Yep, he said this in front of a customer and also in front a another employee who was on his first day, so just learning. Ummm, maybe I had a glass of wine with dinner while waiting for the info to transfer, but it takes me a lot more than a glass of wine to be drunk! He is an insecure little man who could have totally made up for this by quickly processing my return, which took about 7 minutes, since he knew I had to drive 4 hours round trip just to resolve this issue. Instead he chose to be a full-blown A-hole, insulting me, and making me wait over an hour while he dealt with this other customer. And on top of all of this, while I was waiting, he even addressed ANOTHER CUSTOMER who came in AFTER me, and stopped what he was doing with the first customer. I am completely repulsed by this place. My friend, who made the trip with me, was also shocked, and said, "well they are awful and can't move any product, so thats why they lie and have all these promotions going on. They are desperate." Yes indeed. Do yourselves a favor, fellow Yelpers, and just go to the apple store in the Poughkeepsie mall, or to Kingston if they have an ATT store. This place is mega ghetto. read more

Visited the store today to connect another phone to my account. Not a big money-maker for AT&T, but requiring a lot of explaining to us and then dealing with all of the changeover detail details and paper work. Both people in the store were extremely helpful and honest about the different options. We ended up with a great deal and not spending much money. However, they spent a great deal of time helping us. We'll definitely go back again and recommend the store to others. This may be different employees than the previous review experienced. read more
