Worst company in the world and I highly recommend not working with them I had service with them and tried to resolve it and return the internet modem they made me go to 4 stores and refused to cancel my internet and cellphone service saying they would not because I didn't provide them a code number I had forgotten and then they sent my supposed fake bill to a collection company with false charges on it which I paid to get away from the fraudulent charges this company only cares about profit margin and if you are foolish to use them for anything please be careful and if you sign up with them they will make it almost impossible to stop service and will make you go insane and charge you for services not provided and will send a fake bill to a cutthroat collector agency the only thing they care about is profit and their customers are only $ to them read more

On December 30, 2021 I went in to this location to transfer 5 lines from another carrier. I upgraded FIVE phones. The sales rep was new & the assistant manager who was originally helping us was chiming in. When only 2 phones arrived we returned to the location to activate as instructed because we had a few details that needed help. The assistant was out with Covid so we sat with our sales rep. This new sales man was so eager to just get rid of us, he carelessly did not listen - once brought to his attention that a line was not working he blamed my son & said go to the corporate store. (30 minutes away) We went to the corporate store & they were able to fix it. Three days later, all phones were deactivated due to his lack of care in ensuring the correct process of activation took place. I spent six hours on the phone with corporate & they could not undo what he did. AGAIN I had to take a trip to the corporate store to get it fixed. Nearly 21 days later & the issue he caused is still not resolved. But he already received a HEFTY commission off my family. Do not shop here. Go to the corporate store in Brandon. It's worth the trip for the knowledge, experience & care. I was the FOURTH person there yesterday who Sun City store sent. Save yourself the aggravation & just start at the Brandon corporate store. I was sent a final bill for $300 which I wanted to pay on line as I always did. But because I transferred my 2 lines to another provider ATT closed out my account & I couldn't get into it on line. So, off to this location I go to try & pay in person. After about 45 mins of trying to find me, my account finally shows up. Yay ! Final bill paid ! Two weeks later, another final bill comes for $65. I call the main number for ATT, & of course they can't find me ! Again, I go to this location & again they can't find me ! The techs didn't even want to help me ! They seemed bother by the fact that I wanted to pay a bill ! By the way, we didn't even know who worked there because they had no badges or company shirts to identify them as employees ! I was a customer with ATT for 20 yrs paying outrageous money & didn't even get a thank you or a bribe to stay with them ! As a former business owner & working with the public for 44 yrs I found this place very unprofessional ! Don't waste your time or energy. read more

Winston was extremely RUDE and impatient with my 93 yr old grandmother who came in to learn about her new phone. She is not one to ask for help so this was a big task even getting my grandmother to come to the store for tech help. Winston berated her and made her feel stupid. She was an award winning author and professor and is more than capable of comprehending instructions. Maybe it was a rough day for Winston but he should NEVER treat any customer in that manner. This store is garbage and so is the customer service here. I've had better customer service at government agencies. This store would be better off having kiosks that do the job of the employees. The employees are not helpful and seem like you're bothering them when you walk into the store. I think I would have got better results by talking directly to the wall at this location. I've been with AT&T for almost 20 years and the customer service at this location has definitely caused me to switch to another provider. This is what happens when a company hires people that don't care, and puts them into customer service roles when they should be cleaning toilets instead. Beware of the Sun City Center, FL AT&T store. I contacted AT&T in Texas and had communication with their "Office of the President". The store employees lied to us about how much we would be charged for two phones we purchased. After I took the phones home I found out they were overcharging me. I returned the phones. The Sun City Center store charged me $55/phone as a restocking fee. Then I tried customer service who were worse than no help. So I emailed the Office of the President. I asked the Executive from the Office of the President if the store was doing this to many customers as a way to make extra money. She said they would look into it, but of course, I will not hear back from them. I guess my money is gone and I will not get it back. read more

Already 2 bad experiences in this store. Used to work for AT&T myself and I don't want to seem like I am a guy version of a Karen but all I wanted was a SIM card so that I could call customer service to activate it. The employee there told me he could not sell me one without programming it with an IMEI. He stated that he would get fired. Never in my experience working at AT&T have I ever heard of that. I'm not sure if that's something of an authorized retail rule but it's definitely not an AT&T rule. read more

would not suggest anyone doing business at this location. i was refused service of returning my devices because i came in very upset that i could not make calls or texts for 3 straight days, I was also told that the towers in the area could be down for an additional 3 to 4 days. I had just switched from Verizon, and even before the towers went down the service was a night and day difference. Verizon is hands down better in this area. I turned in 2 valuable Iphones as part of a promotion and the store manager said that i was "beat" and will not get them back. This same store manager also tried to fight me, and asked me" we can take this outside if you want to" also said, " we can take this to the streets". Yeah, this was the store manager using his unique skill set to try and calm down an upset customer who was losing business for straight 3 days because I could not make calls or texts. His response to that as well was, "im glad you lost business and money". I have 2 kids that i have been struggling to support with our economy the way it is right now. I could not believe he would say something like that. I have been reaching out to Prime Communications about this matter for over a week and have yet to hear back from anyone. Please dont make my mistake, go to a corporate store, these guys are just trying to make a quick sale off of you and want nothing to do with actually helping you when you have an issue. read more

My daughter and I stopped in at the AT&T store in Sun City FL over Mother's Day weekend May 2023 because I needed a new Iphone. We were assisted by Frank whom we assumed was the Manager who treated us ok. We ended up buying 2 new Iphones before leaving that day and were told to come back when my phone was received for setup. My daughter turned hers in for a refund. We returned the following Tuesday and were assisted by Tom because Frank had to take a phone call. So I decided to buy an Apple Watch. My daughter said "I am jealous and Tom said you can have one" In May they are BOGO. We said why didn't you say? So she got one FREE. Some reason so I would have no payments I said I'd pay for mine and did so through checking. Tom said nothing. Here is the problem. AT&T is still taking payments and the store won't return money. Owner won't call. Corporate office can't help although extremely understabding and sending receipts etc. Manager says it's all up to owner but no contact. I would not deal at this store.
