So it was ordered he was going to go to Tampa the next morning and come to put it in , which he did. Total he was in our house 30 minutes between the 2 visits. From November 2025 to January 2026 my wife and I contacted the contractor requesting status, and was told continuously that the part is on order yet he refused to provide us with proof of the order or costs (if any) paid out to the manufacturer. On January 14, 2026, my wife and I contacted the contractor to cancel our agreement and immediately requested a refund of our deposit. The total cost of the contractor's quote was $1,090.00, and we paid a 50% deposit of $545.00. The contractor's service fee advertised on his website is $59.95. After multiple unsuccessful requests for the return of our deposit (less the service fee) the contractor will no longer communicate with us. For anyone who has been a victim of fraud by Robby G.
