That being said, when I came in to buy a specific item, I had a little trouble getting help with a small appliance. There were two people in the small appliance area, one gentleman was helping as many people as he could while another lady, Imelda, was busy at the desk. When she did ask me if I needed assistance, although it seemed like she wasn't too thrilled to help me, she was very helpful in trying to locate the product I was trying to purchase at another store and called to make sure they had it in stock before I made a trip out there. It took FOREVER for someone to answer the phone at the other store. I was amazed that there wasn't another way to contact them. I must've waited what felt like 20 minutes while she waited on hold and tried several different numbers. Had she not had the patience, I'm quite certain would not have. What was really very helpful was that I was able to purchase it at my local Best Buy and pick it up at another. This was huge for me because there were so few in San Antonio. Another neat thing about it was, they could text me when it was ready to pick up. I thanked Imelda for her help, and she seemed happy she was able to help. I took the first TV back and the store confirmed the default and gave me a new TV same model. Took it home and every human face was red again. Had to wait till the following day and took that one back. Customer service left me standing there for almost an hour before they issued the credit. I offered to look at a different brand of TV but I would need some sort of restitution for hauling the tv around - store folks said we don't do anything like that. She went to a Metro store there, with the new phone and packaging materials. She was told that she could only make the exchange at the Ft. Worth location. It was a $60 difference in price. The state that all sales are final (on the non-existent receipt). I spent hours, on the phone, between corporate stores and "customer care". The best solution that anyone could come up with was for her to buy the correct phone at full retail, and sell hers privately. The customer care is horrible.
