My interaction at this store was definitely one of the smoothest and easiest I've had when dealing with service. I upgraded my phone and had to wait for it to arrive. It took a couple of weeks. I went here to do a trade in and get a free new phone. The setup seemed fine. And I gave them my old phone. that's when problems started happening. I ended up with a bunch of weird fees. I had to contact AT&T and get them reversed. Then the kicker is that I kept getting monthly charged for the new phone. This store lost my trade in. So I won't be getting credit from my old phone. I had already done my research online & knew exactly what I wanted for my phone upgrade when I came to the store. As soon as I entered, I was cheerfully greeted by Makenna who was with another customer so she let me know it'd be a few minutes. Makenna was quick, knowledgeable, & super helpful! Everything she rang up for me matched the quote I received online so I knew she wasn't trying to sneak in any added costs which is very much appreciated. In fact, she helped switch my very old plan to a new plan that actually saves me a little bit each month! While I was transferring all my data to my new phone, other customers came in so Makenna left me to help them out but she made sure to check in with me every once in a while to see how I was doing. The associate went above and beyond to help us clear up an issue on our account that was preventing the new line from being added. He is accommodating towards what I want and what I need. Emilio really does go above and beyond for you. And he possesses a vast knowledge about phones. His calming presence and friendly attitude will put you at ease. Not only that but he also informs you of current deals, promotions, and plans. It was honestly so reassuring that he was honest and clear about everything. I've come to realize that this person genuinely wants to do right by you and help you. It had been 3 years since I got a new phone, so I was way over due for an upgrade. I went to this AT&T Store location off Brokaw with my boyfriend since it was the nearest one to us that closed late (9pm on Saturday). We arrived around 8:15pm, and I noted that there were a couple of clients ahead of me. Andrea, who was the only sales associate working the floor at that time, greeted us and asked what I needed help with. I told her that I needed to do an upgrade. Since the next client was up, she set the expectation and told me that I would have to wait 10-15 min. It worked out anyway, because I wanted to go to the Sprouts that was in the same plaza. We came back just in time as she was finishing up the transaction with the client before me. Andrea provided the best customer service support I've experienced at any phone retailer. She was very personable and patient, and she made the whole process painless. I really appreciated how thorough she was too. The last time I did a phone upgrade in-store, the AT&T employee did a half-ass job and sent me home to do the data syncing from my old to new phone myself. Andrea initiated the sync process and stayed through it with me. My boyfriend and I didn't get home until 11pm, because Andrea wanted to ensure that everything functioned properly as well as confirm that I was satisfied with the product. She also did such a great job with putting my screen protector on, which I had to do myself during the last upgrade and wasn't very good at. I came in to review my wireless bill because I thought it was ridiculous that 2 lines is costing me over $200 dollars. I went in and talked to a rep (Mario I believe was his name, I could be wrong). Told him my concerns and if we could review our wireless bill together and remove unnecessary add ons that might still be on my bill that I no longer need. I asked if there was a more simpler plan that I can migrate to where I don't have to spend so much. He went on his iPad and told me that this new plan the could bring my bill down to $150. Sounds good to me! Ummmmm....not really. After leaving this location and getting my monthly statement, my bill was close to $300! I ended up calling the AT&T Customer service line (who by the way, the representative was AMAZING! Brian from Louisiana). I digress, I digress. Brian looked at my bill and did the calculations and it turned out "Mario" signed me up for a new plan that would cost me MORE! Brian did his thing, reversed the mess the rep at this location and I went along my day. Don't go here, I was given false information. I visited the store when it was poring rain that day. One of the guys here lied about being able to help return a new phone I had just bought. He said he needed "manager credentials" and the store Wi-Fi wasn't working at the moment so he couldn't complete the transaction without it. He told me to return the next day when the manager was in. I was understanding because he made it seem true. I returned the next day and explained what happened to a different worker. The worker explained the guy lied, the guy didn't even need "manager credentials" and he always does this sort of thing to customers because he simply doesn't want to help them. I took time off of work to be able to go to the store to see the "manager" because my 14-day return policy was going to end. Now looking at all the other Yelp reviews makes me now wonder if I need to call AT&T customer service to make sure they didn't screw up my phone plan or over charge me. Never going back again, makes me second think about having AT&T as a service if they condone and allow people to work for them with knowledge the worker is constantly lying to customers to such an extent. read more

I just drove 15 mins to this location with a phone emergency because the hours on this store's automated recording and Google page said they're open until 7pm. I showed up at 6pm to find the door locked with no sign explaining why they closed early or any employee in sight. Two other customers were there looking confused, so I'm not the only one let down. Don't waste your time here! Came here during their soft opening. The two employees left half eaten bags of McDonalds all over the tables. (Great first impression) We came in to attempt to add a line to our phone plan. The two employees were more focused on up-selling customers than getting tasks done. We waited over 90 minutes for them to finish selling an iPhone to a new customer with no add-ons. The guys gave us no updates on when we could expect them to finish up. The lack of communication and overall feeling of not wanting to work is what really turned me off. I will no longer attend this location for help. As a result, I will also be leaving AT&T after 15 years. I wonder how many other 'Authorized Retailers' are turning customers off. read more

A few days ago I came to this store looking for cheap equipment, I didn't need it urgently but I did want something to be able to start my credit life with something. The manager receives me telling me "Your license is not false", I don't know if it's easy to go around with a false license, it's not my fault that other people do it, in short, the generalization that we are all the same. Well, I continued in the store to prove to this man the opposite of what he was saying. I continued the process and the advisor tells me how good it will be 1 dollar a month and 65 the rent for the use of the line, fine. Greater surprise that I had not even had the service for a month and they debited $172 from my card. I head to the store and got no help from the staff at all, they just wash their hands. I tell them that I am going to return the cell phone and after that they wanted me to pay them $55 more. I mean, they debit me 172, they want 55, I had already left 18 and not satisfied with that, they kept the team. The truth of all is that I'm not going back there anymore and thanks to the loyalty team that helped me solve it because they only make bad faces there and as if nothing is their problem. I went there on Saturday afternoon around 5 pm to ask to change my family plan into a prepaid plan, the male staff helped me was very inpatient and cocky. I was the only customer in the store and there were 3 staffs in the store, I'm not sure the reason for the indifferent attitude I received, but it's highly unprofessional and I felt bad to interact with the staff not as a customer but as a person. The Manager of this store gave me the worst attitude when i was just trying to get stuff done.. just by me asking for a simple "sim card" for AT&T the phone utilizing google maps wasn't working properly. "contract or not" a sim card is a sim card. After i noticed the unnecessary attitude I asked him "So you must really hate your job?" his response "Yes I hate my job!" So me being me I tried to correct the behavior as I tried to explain to him why he was wrong for behaving the way he was solely just because he hates his job, "Why is that the potential customers problem?" I stopped by this (Sunday) morning to get help activating my new replacement iPhone that just arrived in the mail from the insurance company. Alfredo showed up 6 minutes late to open the building and looked like he had just crawled out of bed. When I asked if he could help me activate my phone, he said in a confrontational tone, "My internet is too slow here, just go home and do it yourself--I can't help you." Shocked by his attitude, I politely reminded him that when I ordered the replacement phone through the Santa Cruz ATT store, I was assured I could bring the new phone back into any ATT location to receive assistance deactivating the broken one and activating the new one. He said to me "have a nice day," in a sarcastic tone as I walked toward the door, and I said, "you have a nice day," to which he replied "what did you just say to me?" as though he were provoking a fight. I just kept my eyes on the door and kept walking. I don't know if he was hung over or what was going on with him. Unfortunately, there were no other workers there from whom I could get help or report my concern regarding Alfredo's unprofessional, confrontational demeanor, so I had no choice but to leave and am now forced to find another location to activate my phone and report my experience online. I see Alfredo has received positive reviews from other customers, so I am left wondering if this is an unusual circumstance with him. Last night was Saturday, perhaps he was out late last night? Since he was the only one working this morning, perhaps he thought no one would notice him opening the store a little late... who knows? All I know is that we own and operate two large corporations and have been loyal customers of ATT for all our phones for the past 30 years, and this is the first time I have ever been treated so rudely. He was able to answer my questions, make the adjustments right way, and explained my bill to me. He also informed me about the promotions that they had going on, in which I declined, and he did not pressure me into upgrading my plan. I was able to resolve my issue in 15 minutes, quick and easy. The employees were extremely polite and friendly and the wait was short compared to other AT&T stores I've been to. I got an iPhone 7 with their new buy one get one free deal and they also gave me some good discounts on my accessories. The only negative was their internet was pretty slow in store so I so I had to transfer my contacts and stuff at home, but they helped me download the app they use and explained it to me.
