The absolute most unknowledgable employees I've ever worked with, I came in last week to add an Apple Watch to my plan, the girl I worked with was new. I came back a week later, which was today to activate the watch so I can use it without having my phone on me. The girl ended up adding a whole other phone, a 3rd phone line and jumped my original bill from $80 to $160. I came back in to get it figured out, she's slumped in a chair and says "Well you remember I said I was new right?" She offered no solution and I ended up leaving with 0 resolution. Employees like that is the reason people change companies, I'll be paying off the watch and changing who I give my money to. read more

We are moving to a different state to an area that our previous provider does not have any coverage. Most everyone there uses AT&T, so we switched due to necessity. We chose this store to go to as the closest to our current home. After finally getting through the continual process of transitioning providers, switching phones, etc, over the last four weeks, AT&T solicited my review. I provided the following and they advised they would not accept or post it. So I shared it on FB and here. "Title: AT&T only because I have to The store can only be as good as AT&T allows it, and the store is AT&T to the customer, so unfortunately the store bears the brunt of AT&T's inadequacies. The store manager here is extremely helpful and kind, and is the sole reason for 3 stars, otherwise this was a 2 star experience. AT&T should provide better equipment, better infrastructure, better training, better communication. If I did not have to switch providers due to moving, I would have walked -- no, run -- away from AT&T. I am a hostage customer who will probably leave whenever possible." I am rating 2 stars here in Yelp after this, and because I am still waiting for yet another component of this process to complete. The sheer amount of miscommunication/misinformation between store and online personnel is astounding. I was just there and a gentleman named Jeremy helped me. He was very polite and made my change very easy. I will also say I waited on the phone at home for one hour stayed on the phone drove over still on hold. Got things all done with Jeremy and drove home still on HOLD with at&t. I finally hung up. It's kind of disconcerting to an AT&T customer when a location is perpetually understaffed. I don't fault the staff themselves, who are doing their jobs and trying to keep the doors open and lights on. It seems that since this location opened up on the south hill, there has never been a "right time" to come in. You will wait. And wait. And wait. If there is only one rep here at all times, that's bound to happen. When you have to call in staff from other locations when there are only a few customers in, the location probably isn't being managed effectively. If you don't have phones in stock when you mention the phone you're looking for 50 mins before getting helped, you might have a customer service issue... read more

Worst experience ever. I called about exchanging a product with them. They told me to come in, I did then they told me I could not exchange the product with them because I bought it at a different AT&T store. I understand that, wish they would have told me that when I called. Do not use, go to a real AT&T store that is owned by AT&T. read more

I bought a phone and canceled it. I found a place where I could buy it off the shelf. They have not refunded my money in almost a month. They say it's AT& T and AT&T say they have to refund it. They are both to blame. That is a store to avoid. They make no attempt to make sure they are taking care of their customers. I am also now going to move my business account away from ATT&T because of their poor customer service. Phil is the manager and not able to sort out simple business issues. Stay away from this store. read more
