Refused return/exchange next day on broken tv. Samsung out of stock can't help. Got screwed. I bought a 77" Samsung OLED and q900 sound bar and sub. The TV was broken out of the box. They would not take it back because the box had to be undated also. I cut it up and recycled it. They told me I should have read my receipt more closely. They say it says no returns or exchanges without the box. This is true, it's in the fine print, save your boxes and ALL packaging. Be extremely careful unboxing. Or shop elsewhere. I bought a 98" big screen tv from the Spokan store for $2000.00. Took it home and found a crack in the tv. I called Video Only (Scott) and was told that they would not take the TV back. They told me to call TCL the manufacture and ask them to take the tv back they said no. This is what they wrote me back!!! I have called Wade with Video Only to find out what could be done. He told me that they will not let me return the TV nor will they exchange it. So I asked him what about the $2000.00 I put on the TV. His reply was sorry you will need to buy another TV. The Spokane store is very rude and tell me it is out of their Hands. No one at Video Only will help out at all. This store has the worst customer service ever. This is the letter from TCL. Sent it to Video Only and still no return or exchange. Spent $3k on a Samsung q990d soundbar and S90 77" OLED TV. The bass module with the soundbar was DOA and because all of the original packaging was not intact, VIDEO ONLY would not do a thing, even though it was DOA. Fast Forward 2 months, the TV just died. Samsung support is not great. So video only got their money, and I was left with a mess. Horrible service post-sale, and questionable name-brand products. I will forever shop elsewhere. read more

Amazing service, John Werner was so helpful and patient with us. We asked alot of questions and he walked us through them all and even demonstrated features. We had his undivided attention for almost 2 hours and in the end we bought a TV, sound bar and wall mount; we received a discount and couldn't be happier. I returned a defective samsung soundbar under 3 weeks old. But...since I did not keep the original box, no refund- despite having my receipt, despite them remembering me, no refund, no free floor model, nada. I had to buy a brand new one. I did get a slight discount, but still spent nearly another 300 dollars for another soundbar. I spent 650 dollars for a 350 dollar soundbar. The employees were great, especially Tyler, but the company flat out is a total ripoff. I couldn't work for such a company. Sad. read more

Drove all the way to video only from Coeur d'Alene because of the selection and I wanted to be able to compare different TVs in the 85" size I was looking for. Andrew was very helpful and we bought both a tv and a new sound bar. The one we wanted was in stock at a nearby warehouse so the wait for it isn't long. After I got home I googled the models we bought just to verify if it really was as good of a deal as Andrew said it was. If I had bought the same TV and sound bar on Amazon it would have cost $1,500 more! Great customer service and even better prices. The best brick and mortar option for DIY home theater enthusiasts in Spokane. Upside: 1) The sales staff have a higher aggregate knowledgeable base than the other stores I priced. 2) The sales staff are authorized to deal, and they do! 3) Excellent selection of TVs. Downside: 1) Do not carry many audiophile/videophile brands. 2) Less than optimal selection of audio options in general. Overall a very positive experience. I was floored when I first walked into video only. They only carry trusted brand names (Samsung, Toshiba, Panasonic, Bose, Sharp, etc.) and have amazing deals on them. None of thier models are parsed down, or factory seconds, and all of their employees are highly trained and knowledgable. Never did I feel like I was being up-sold or given a needless pitch to make me spend more, but rather it felt like they were helping me find what worked best for my needs. Unlike going to BestBuy, where all the employees have the same (scant) knowledge I do about their products, the people at video only are true professionals. Update: I ordered a tv that had to be shipped from another store (Tacoma, not exactly the other side of the country. Set was ordered on a Saturday and I was told it would be in on Friday ( a long wait but I was willing to give them a shot) Salesman said he would call when the set arrived. Friday rolls around, no call... I decided to go in perhaps they simply forgot to call. Long story short through a series of ball drops (not sure who exactly was at fault salesman blamed the warehouse but couldn't remember my order until I produced the sales slip) so now I have to wait an additional week to and hopefully get my tv then. This is incredibly frustrating as I feel nervous that it's actually ever even going to show up and I could have bought it at BestBuy for the exact same price and gotten it 2 weeks earlier, I have a sneaking suspicion that next Friday I am still going to be without a tv and will not be able to find the same one anywhere else as it is a discontinued model. Buyer beware. Shopped around for a new 4K 65" tv for a few weeks. Read online reviews and a sea of (good and bad) information before I even set foot in a store to begin to sift through the mountain of data I had consumed. I went to a few stores before making my purchase (Huppins and Best Buy) I actually went to Video Only first and went back after finding their sales staff to be the most knowledgeable and furthermore actually interested in selling something... (Huppins seemed uninterested in selling me *just a mid range tv*, and the salesman seemed less than enthused about helping me while being somewhat condescending.
