Just went to this store, spoke with a gentleman and explained him that my bill came 3 times more than it should be. I explained him that yesterday I spent 2 hours on the phone with customer service and they couldn't helped me, he stated he cannot do nothing in store but to call customer service from my phone! Really ? There's nothing a corporate store can't do or you didn't want to help because fixing my issue doesn't make you an está commission? I've used this location many times and have always found Chuck to be helpful and very knowledgeable. However, on my recent visits, I dealt with two other staff members who were condescending and rude. As a result, I decided to cancel my phones and switch service providers. read more

My phone battery keeps dying much faster than I find acceptable. Even after hunting down and stopping all the apps running on background, I still keep having a low battery, even when I haven't used my phone much. Ugh. I'm certain they are building them like this on purpose, so what happens next in my story is assured. I decided it might be time for a new phone. I've had my current phone about two years. We headed into this store, about 45 minutes before closing. Everyone was super friendly and we were helped immediately. We had seen on the app that we would be eligible to upgrade for $0. Sweeet. When we told this to the associate, they looked it up, and it seemed we were only eligible for $400 a new phone, even with our current ones in perfect condition. They did explain to us the way it would work with an upgrade and still owing a bit on the phones, minus the credit, but I have to say I am still more than a bit confused to what we actually will owe and why we didn't get the $0 the app showed. Regardless, the phones we wanted werent in stock and had to be ordered. The whole process got us our of there before closing time, which isn't too bad. read more

We went in to review our current bill. The Manager greeted us and placed us in the que for service. The store was quite busy but staff seemed to really be into helping customers. There were plenty of bilingual employees which was very nice. Anthony was assigned to us and he is very knowledgeable and professional. He reviewed our information, found some help to help reduce our bill. We were not eligible for a full trade in upgrade to the IPhone 14 but he gave us some good ideas. The store was clean and there is a place to sit to wait. They have a good variety of phones and accessories. We had a great experience. The absolute worst AT&T store. I called them so I could get a new phone after the iPhone 12 came out. I went to store and it took them over an hour to figure out what is up with my account and that I was already on a contract and unable to do another contract. The girl was thinking I was going to get the phone anyways without the contract so still pay 1200 and she would still take my phone. I don't understand who hired her or who even trained her. Unprofessional! Also I was looking for cases for the "new phone" and the manager there is like " don't open it" umm it can be closed! How would I know how the case looks like! Never again read more

I've visited this location for a few years now. Each time I visit, the staff is totally different. Is no one making their sales quota? My visits are quick, this one no different. Made my payment via machine, and out the door I went. In the past when I've had a problem, I was usually directed to call customer care, so I save time and don't bother them with questions anymore. I dropped in today for assistance and Lydia was awesome! My husband ordered a new phone for me and I needed to ship the old back. I lost the shipping label. I called AT&T and they emailed me another, but my printer wouldn't work. I went into the store to see if I could drop it off. Lydia helped me and looked my phone up. When I told her the situation, she had me email the label to her so she could print it. Then she made sure the phone was packaged correctly, sealed the box and attached the label. I think she would have taken to the post office for me if she could have. Thank you Lydia! I was able to drop it at USPS and get my dog to therapy on time. read more

AT&T Wireless has been my carrier of choice for many years as their nationwide signal coverage is the best in the business. Since I travel a lot, that nationwide footprint is very important to me. The AT&T retail store in Carrollwood has been a place that I frequent when I'm looking for new wireless devices or seeking minor technical help. The store can be found in a strip mall along Dale Mabry, in the same center as IHOP and Senor Tequila. I like the fact that the AT&T store usually has 10 or so associates circulating on the sales floor, so it is never difficult to find someone to help you. They have a nice range of products, from smartphones to tablets to accessories so you don't have to drive all over town to find what you need. Today I was in the market for a new smartphone, and I found what I wanted with a new Samsung Galaxy 3S. My sales rep reviewed my wireless plan, and moved me onto some different options which gives me better usage for a lower price. YAY!!!! Because I already had an AT&T contract, the new phone was $199.99. He also pointed me towards a wireless hotspot Wi-Fi device (called the Unite) which will allow me to connect all of my devices to the network, and still be able to use my smartphone for conference calls. The hotspot was a whopping 99 cents since I already had their data plan. As my buddy Travis would say, "Good ish!" Where do I even begin with this store. Let me just start off by saying, if I could give this store 0 stars I would. Back in May, my husband and I wanted to switch carriers. I still had a balance for my phone so we just really went in for a quote. Joe Hansel misinformed us that the phone payment would be covered if we switched that day. ( we did ). I had a debt collector calling me because the bill was never paid for. With my understanding it was covered if we switched? My husband and I went to this store, twice to resolve it. When we finally talked to the manager ( Craig ) we were basically told we "misunderstood " Joe Hansel about covering the old bill. It took 2 hours of going back and forth to get anywhere. When my husband told Craig the 611 customer representatives said we would get the full amount credited, he laughed. - the literal disrespect was unbelievable. I mentioned that I would be going to corporate because the whole encounter was rude. Craig told us, they were corporate. - which is a false statement, corporate is in San Antonio. We called 611 back and did in fact get our entire amount credited and a claim against Craig. If you could go to any AT&T store, do not go to this one. read more

Worst experience ever. I have had my account for 20 years, opened in 1998, and my phone went black. One month away from being eligible for an update, and they want me to pay over $200 extra to get a new phone. No rewards for loyalty. The salesperson was terrible and acted like he didn't want to be there. He told a 20 year customer that it was a "switchers" market. And so I did. I switched to Verizon and got over $400 in credit for the 2 phones that AT&T wanted to charge me $250 for. Plus, my bill is cheaper each month. So AT&T, you are right, it's a switchers market, and I'd suggest to everyone to go switch carriers today! read more

The AT&T store has come a long way ... it appears that they are trying to mimic the Apple experience ("A" for effort, but don't really see that happening). We were politely greeted at the door by someone whose sole function it seems was to do so, to take our names and to invite us to have a seat. When we got to speak to an associate (Ivan), he was very polite, pleasant and seemed genuinely interested in helping us. When we were done with our transaction, he walked us to the door, opened it and shook our hands on the way out. Purchased a new iPhone online and picked it up at an AT&T store. When we opened it up a day later it was dead. Wouldn't turn on at all. I looked online and noticed the store in Carrollwood had some in stock. So I stopped in to get a new phone, or so I thought. Carlos the manager rolled his eyes at me and told me I'd have to go to the Apple Store. Even though the phone was purchased through AT&T and was only a couple days old, I was dismissed. No options, no suggestions, nothing. Go see Apple. It is crazy to think they would sell me a $900 phone and then not provide any level of service. I'll never go to this store again. Carlos only cares about making new sales. Since this didn't involve a commission he dismissed me without any consideration. Poor service and a mark on the AT&T brand! read more

I have been a customer for over 5 years.....this is the first time i have had to go thru crap to get my bill straightened out the 4th time....i went to discuss a certain charge and they tell me that it was part of my bill,,,but when i called corporate, they informed me that i was overcharged alot of money. i was overcharged on 2 bills and they had to go over my whole sale...they apologised to me and told me that they are going to fix my problem since the store guys couldnt. the customer service there is mediocre and it upsets me to say that;;;;but corporate office is investigating all complaints and trying to fix all the customer complaints about service...the corporate office was so pleasant and helpful and very apologetic. I dont like doing this....but i would like an apology from this store, about the many trips i made, to get my bill and phones taken care of....I think the staff needs to relax and quit worrying about sales and take care of your customers complaints.... read more

This will seem weird because I've never set foot in this AT&T Mobility store at 11131 N Dale Mabry Highway, but I wanted to express my appreciation for some amazing customer service I recently received from Lucas at that location. Unbeknownst to me, we left an iPad Mini on a Southwest Airlines flight that originated at LaGuardia, NYC. It didn't get discovered until the plane landed in Florida, where some kind unknown person tried to turn it in to the airport lost-and-found. The Florida airport wouldn't take it because we had deplaned in Dallas, so the kind person apparently turned it in to this AT&T wireless store. The iPad is on my AT&T Wireless account, so Lucas called the very surprised me the next day and shipped it back to us free of charge. Now that is amazing customer service! Ok people If you go to this Att you have to be dead in need of a product. I have had Att for over 18 yrs and have never had such bad customer service since the IPhone 6 plus came out. To make a long story short, Brian the manger there is crooked, he got caught letting another customer sneak in front of everyone else that waited just the same time as she did, how i know because he got caught by my husband, and he asked my husband not to make a show in front of all the customers and he put back my sons and my phone til 2 pm for us to come back them at that time so everyone would be gone by then and not start a huge fight there . He has done me this way twice being insulting im beginning to think he is prejudice or something to me. He has his employees ignoring me when I come in to do business I was ignored today again and was told by ATT they where independent stores. I will never ever step foot in that ATT store again.
