What I thought would be a quick and easy process ended up taking 3+ hours. There was only one employee in the building, Doug A. He handled business like a champ! He finished his current customer and spent the next 3 hours helping us transfer data from an iPhone 8 to a 16! Through all his efforts we shared work stories, TV show memories , movie lines, even stories from our upbringing in different states but with many similarities. Despite one small hiccup, not being able to transfer all 19k text messages (all the way back to 2017) the set up of the new Phone was seamless. We closed down Verizon in Urbana, Oh!!! Who else can say that??? Doug was so helpful and informative about the things we needed, deals that were currently happening, the differences between phones, apps, and functionality of new accessories. The store was clean, in stock, and Doug knew his way around the computer with a quickness! This is likely the best experience I've had with Verizon in my 25+ years of business with them. He did say he's normally at another location but, we got extremely lucky to have him at this location today!

Instead of repairing the phone, they sell her a new $1,000 phone that she didn't need because her old phone was in a state to be repaired. Either these people are inexperienced with phone repairs or just like to scam senior citizens who show up trying to get their phone repaired. My advice to anyone reading this is to just avoid this place like the plague unless you are wanting to be ripped off. Just Google for better options in the area and if it's phone repair, don't waste your time going here over some where else such as mentioned above.

I know better than to download cr@p to my computer, but for some odd reason I thought downloading…read moreto my phone would be safer...crazy right? So I downloaded one of those stupid Facebook quizzes (who were you in a past life) and shortly thereafter got a message in RED that I had 13 serious viruses on my phone and I needed protection NOW. And even thought I knew better and immediately regretted it, I downloaded CleanSweep (blue background/white broom). BAD move. Then I get messages my rams is at 90 % usage and I could get more for "only" $20 a bucks or so. I felt like a real dumb@$their but no I didn't purchase the ram. I never do financial things on my phone. So I head here and asked if they could help me. They were so nice, and since I did have insurance they loaded cleaning softwear on my phone for free and taught me how to remove all the stuff I didn't need from my phone. They even made me feel better saying people come in all the time with that CleanSweep. It made me feel better cause misery loves company. . (and this program continually runs and was the ram problem....removing it was all that was necessary for the ram to have plenty of room left) . And while I was there they checked my account and were able to save me $10 !!! Who doesn't want to save money? I'm done being an @$$clown with my phone. So remember...don't load cr@p to your phone, and If you get messages trying to scare you into it, just say NO. Class dismissed.
