I went to this store to file an insurance claim for my daughter's iPhone XR because the screen was broken. The short version is that the store manager falsely claimed a promotion was running for the iPhone 12, which would only cost $10/month. He immediately lied to direct questions and omitted details relevant to my ability to make an informed decision. He lied about the process by which the promotion would be configured. He lied about the cost as I stated I wanted to file an insurance claim instead of receiving a new phone if my bill would increase by more than $30/mth. He said it would be less than $20. I've been paying for his lies and AT&T Corporates lack of action, inability to do the right thing, and taking corrective action against employees who lie to increase sales. Sixteen years I've been with AT&T, and there's no loyalty on their end. read more

Do yourself a favor, find another AT&T store. I would not trust the crew here with my personal information ever. They don't know what they are doing. I went to this store simply to find out the shipping info for an iphone, they WITHOUT MY CONSENT (or SIGNATURE) shipped me an iphone. I only found out once I went to another AT&T store, and it became a nightmare to undo that transaction. Worst is that the store employee (Jack) or the manager (Wesley Soto, Wesley.Soto@allianceatt.com) didn't have the courtesy to return my numerous calls. All calls were fielded by Mike, who called himself an intern and said that he was not authorized to make any changes. These guys are, at best, unprofessional and ignorant on how to do business. Their people are untrained and learning at customers' expense. I would not recommend giving them your personal identification. If this is my experience in a short visit, who knows what else is going on here. read more

I have left ATT because of my experience at this store. YOU MUST READ THIS BEFORE STEPPING FOOT IN THIS STORE. The staff is all smiles when they are selling you something, so beware that this is clue #1. I needed a new phone and went there on August 5. I told them I didn't want to get it that day because I was leaving for a trip. The salesperson, Dartagnan, told me "no worries, nothing starts until you come and pick up your phone. You have two weeks from when you pick it up to try it out." I also needed to revise my plan to be on an unlimited plan in order to take advantage of the special phone deal. So, my plan was revised and I was promised that the bill would be lowered to $130./month (I was now paying $138./month). Great!! Til I got home from my trip and was greeted with a $344. monthly bill! Anything under the sun that I could be charged for was on that bill - this insurance, this fee, that fee - all things I did not want. I have since found out that ATT salespeople PURPOSELY add on all these extras and leave the customer to fight with ATT over the phone to remove them. I spent about 20 hours on the phone to get this straightened out. No luck! I was only able to get it down to $279. That was it! I was within 2 weeks timeframe of when I picked up the phone so I went back to the store, waited an hour and tried to return it. She pointed out a small notice at the cash register that stated there was a restocking fee. No one ever pointed this out. By now I was steamed. The Saleswoman went ahead and erased everything on my phone and proceeded to do the return. Suddenly, at the end, she says "Oh, you bought this on August 5, we can't return it, it is over 2 weeks." I reminded her that I had asked the salesperson, Dartagnan several times about when all charges, etc. start and that he said that these start when I pick up the phone. A Lie! They started immediately on August 5 when they ran the charge for the tax on the phone. She would not return it and practically threw us out of the store. I was a bit outraged. I am reporting them also to the FCC, for whatever good that does. To summarize, DO NOT enter this store if you are: 1. Going to get a phone on a promotion 2. Need to revise your bill in any way I lost my nice $138./month grandfathered bill because of these dishonest people. LEARN FROM MY COSTLY MISTAKE. You will definitely be taken advantage of and be left to fight out the problem with ATT's phone service in India. DON'T SAY YOU WEREN'T WARNED, BECAUSE I AM WARNING YOU NOW - ONLY DEAL WITH A TRUE ATT STORE. THEY ARE IN HARVARD SQUARE AND IN CAMBRIDGE GALLERIA. First of all, are you kidding me. I need to get my phone fixed and it was greeted with the store not being open at normal business hours because the employee was sick and forgot to call out. I then waited 45 minutes for them to come, I was constantly bugged, trying to pay extra for certain plans and things I didn't need. Made me want to quit AT&T. For some reason I am still on AT&T for my phone plan, but had to get out of that for Wi-Fi. I am sorry, but just go to cricket wireless. They are better. read more

The service is good, I can get coverage pretty much anywhere. But it could be a cheaper service. The trade in upgrades are not as they say they are. They said $800 towards a new iPhone, the full balance of said $800 is not fully put towards your account for 3 years. Basically you're still paying for the phone the whole time. And if you want to leave to another company I hear it's really difficult. So I'm reluctantly still a continued slave to this company. read more

Great customer service from Brendan! My phone dropped in the toilet on a Saturday and for my job I needed a working phone ASAP! By the time I got to the store, they were about to close in 20 minutes but Brendan stay throughout the whole transaction until he made sure we had a working phone and also was just very friendly and informational overall! signed me up for a service I specifically said no to The entirety of this review is based on a single scammy action. I specifcally just needed a phone asap to replace one that died. I just opted for the iphone SE at the $5/mo since our family plan was eligible. I said no to every add on service offered, repeating I just want the bare minimum service to add to our existing acct. I specifically mentioned how the $15/mo protection plan was esp not a good deal since the phone is not worth much at all. So lo and behold a month later I'm signed up for this service. And AT&T's phone customer service is so slow and annoying to deal with. So now we are faced with canceling this service wasting our time. avoid this store if at all possible but if you are stuck then be sure to save and document all your transactions and be clear and review everything carefully. read more

I have to say that I have been to this store twice now, but had hesitated before because of some negative reviews and would always go to the other store. Not the case both times. I got a new phone and was having some issues. The nice girl figured it out less than a minute. The second time I went in the very nice gentlemen named Will Ayala helped me in less than 5 minutes. I arrived at the store with a problem I assumed was too complicated, and predicted that I'd be sent to an Apple store. The battery port on my iPhone 6 wasn't working, I hadn't set up my cloud, and my battery was quickly dying, but I wanted a new phone rather than fixing my old one since I was eligible for an upgrade. I'm probably the most high maintenance customer they've had in a while, but Kenny wasn't phased and did everything he could over the course of a few hours to assist. The details are long and tedious (they use the battery port to transfer info to a new phone, so there was that), so I won't get into them. Sufficient to say, he surpassed any expectations I've ever had walking into a service provider of any kind. I even witnessed him helping other customers and he was kind, helpful, and optimistic regarding all issues. I walked out of the store later that afternoon with a new phone that retained all of my contacts, data, and apps. Kenny should be recognized by his company for being a stellar employee, I honestly can't remember the last time I received such incredible service. read more
