Upon arriving at the store At Home at the Fire Wheel location, I was warmly greeted at the door. Staff takes pride in helping guests and keeping the store clean and organized. They quickly give you directions on where to find items as you enter. I stopped in to buy items for my teenage daughter's room and they have a wealth of items to help decorate for room decor. Lots of items to choose from for a good value. I ended up buying organization bins, pillows, a lantern as well as party supplies for her upcoming birthday. It was nice to see so many items hands on to start putting together a new theme for her room. Their Easter items caught my eye and I bought a cute welcome mat for the front door. They had adorable Easter bunnies as well that came in bright vibrant colors as well as muted greenery with bows. They also had the ever popular wooden panels to decorate your front porch. I also spotted a variety of patio cushions in a variety of colors and with the warm weather we have had recently I did venture to check out their items to update my patio furniture cushions. read more

5/07/25: I had a terrible experience at this location today. Around 5:30 pm I stopped by the store to see about resolving an issue about a store gift card which had not been activated on stemming from a return without a receipt over the Christmas Holidays. The amount would have been about $14. I spoke with Michele, middle aged African American female, at the cashier's counter. There were no customers behind me, and she was the only cashier at the time. I explained what I stopped by for, and she did not appear to want to understand what I was telling her. I noticed her starting to be rude, and I requested to speak with a manager. She started to raise her voice, and I asked her not to do that. She started pointing her finger at me and stated, "do not try me, today is not the day". Her whole attitude caught me off guard, and she even said that she would have me taken to jail. She also stated that I may have found the store gift card on the floor and was trying to get some money. I told her not to question my integrity. I walked away from the counter and waited on a manager. Kevin appeared, and as I started to speak with him, she tried to interject herself in our conversation. I asked Kevin to step farther away from her counter, so that we could have a conversation. At that point, I told Kevin that I was no longer concerned about the inactivated store credit, and that I was more concerned about Michelle's very negative attitude and demeanor towards me. She blew things out of proportion and I didn't take kindly to that. I had been a customer since the store's soft opening, and had never had a negative experience like this. Kevin advised that I call the number on the back of the store gift card, as he was very limited on what he could do without a receipt. It's extremely disappointing to see someone like Michelle, working at At Home, who is very unprofessional, clearly dislikes her job, and is definitely not suited for a customer facing environment. Customers come here to have a nice shopping experience while searching for the right items for their home. Michele's lack of customer service damages At Home's reputation, and upper management should seriously reconsider keeping employees like this. read more

We were in the area so I wanted to stop in to look for Valentine's decor (it's so plain when you take the Christmas decorations!) I also love the selection of picture frames- it's huge and the prices are great! I found exactly what I was looking for! They had lots of empty rows that I'm sure will be stocked with Spring and Easter decorations. It's always fun to look at the clearance sections too! read more

Generally speaking, this store is one of my favorites. I've always gone and found exactly what I'm looking for (or some variation of it) as long as I have all the time in the world to browse. It is organized, and they have great clearance items. This store should get 5 stars. If not for a pandemic, it would get all the stars, and more. Why it loses stars: Today around 11:30am I went to get some organizational products. I quickly found everything I needed, and headed to the register. There was only one check out register open (the one at the end of the lane with no clear barrier between customer and clerk). The lady at this station had her mask hanging from one ear and was coughing loudly (not a dry cough, but a very loud, rattling, wet sounding cough. She had a fit of them.) into her hand. As I hesitantly walked up, she made no attempt to sanitize her hands with the hand sanitizer directly next to her, and reached out (still un-masked with no barrier between us) to take my items. The second that I handed them over, I put copious amounts of sanitizer in my own hands. I also chlorox'd my items once in the car, and resanitized again. I understand that wearing a mask is an irritant to some people. I'm a healthcare worker, and wore masks for 10+ hours a day for years BEFORE the pandemic was even an issue. Are they irritating to people that aren't used to them? Sure. But that is absolutely no excuse to not wear them and protect the people around you, especially in a store with large signs at the front door stating that masks are mandatory. If you want to do business, At Home, do better to protect your clientele. Seeing someone with obvious respiratory signs not wearing a mask in public is infuriating to me. I don't know what effects this store has taken to ensure that employees do not come into work if they are sick, but they need to enforce them for the safety of their employees and the community. This review isn't to shame the individual with a cough (other than to enforce proper mask etiquette). No one wants to be sick. This review is to highlight the fact that there are individuals with respiratory signs of unknown origin in an establishment that allows improper mask etiquette. I'm disappointed to say the least. I absolutely love this store, but will not come back as long as this is standard operating procedure for At Home. I cannot risk becoming ill because a company is not enforcing rules that assist in public safety. I cannot risk my own health, or that of my coworkers or patients because rules are not being enforced. read more

Man oh man! What a magnificent place to have yourself a poop. Pros: Dyson hand dryers, artwork, moisturizing hand soap. Cons: One ply toilet paper, no music. I really enjoyed my time pooping here, it was very aesthetically pleasing. Very well kept, you can tell it gets cleaned multiple times a day. I would have forgave the one ply TP, but that along with the lack of music I had to knock it a star. read more

Wow. If I could give this place a 0/10 I really would. I went on Christmas eve and the associate with the santa hat was a complete disgrace. The employees in this star give below mediocre customer service... extremely poor. I want to start with the associate who did not greet or thank me, and did not give me my receipt in my hand and was extremely short with me from start to finish . To be honest I felt as though he was honestly trying to belittle me and be extremely condescending to me. I would never want to shop here again. Such a revolting staff. read more

At Home is a huge store to find just about everything from indoor to outdoor accessories and then some The place is very organized, clean and its easy to find what you are looking for including many types of lamps and pillows for living room and even outdoors! On nights it is very quiet and peaceful a lot of items in clearance and you have a lot of choices. So many things to see that two hours past by, the employees are very friendly! Restrooms are so clean! read more
