The one thing I enjoy about Kirklands is they are constantly changing inventory and this keeps sales going and prices competitive by doing so. I really enjoy this spot during the holidays! Service is hit and miss, but I will say that I have had more good experiences than bad. The store is usually pretty busy, so rushed or less personal service can be expected...doesn't make it acceptable, but does make it understandable. Overall, Kirklands is a spot I hit when I am out browsing for things I don't know I need or want for the house.

I tried calling the store manager and she said she would check around for solutions but never called me back. The base has a metal bar but it is far too short to hold the mattress properly in place. And there is no way to connect the mattress at the top of the base. This is an inherent design flaw. I am asking for all my money back. Mattress Firm does not allow you to contact anyone above local level and only allows complaints in writing. This is just another way Mattress Firm avoids responsibility for selling defective products.

He had just help another customer purchase something and he was helping them get it out the door when I arrive he was very attentive even tho he was in the middle of something He briefly described what I should lay on in order to pick the best for my needs. I originally went there to look into a natural latex mattress but they didnt carry that so i settled for foam. So thats the first yes, (welcomed) Once he was done with the other customer he apologize he couldn't help me right away and we began discussing what exactly I was there looking for. ( which was a bit strange because I was shopping for a queen mattress for my dogs new bed ) ha ha. I was surprised to find out through the conversation that the men working there which I would refer to as a kid was actually the store manager. So we laid on some mattresses and he pulled out one that could work and I found one that fit my needs. So here comes the next yes! I like the mattress that I picked but it was a bit still out of my Price range. I asked if I could take a picture of the tag. somehow through this conversation he could tell that I wanted the mattress but that I may look somewhere else for something less expensive or if it was less expensive somewhere else so to my surprise, he verbalized what i was thinking. He offered to give me a better deal, A yes for me because the kid was quite intuitive. Anybody can be a good salesman but a truly gifted one, can almost read your mind and your body language and counter based on what they perceive. it's a little intimidating going into a matress store , especially when it's a big box brand like mattress firm. you don't really know what kind will fit your very personal needs or what you will have to pay. The mattress industry is not easily understood by normal people; with all the brands and pillow tops and different materials. all that is quite confusing. We came back to the desk area and we worked up some numbers. I told him that I really needed the mattress sooner because they wouldn't be able to deliver to the store until next Friday. but he worked with me to get the mattress delivered to my house in two days! which is really nice, because I had no way to get it from the store home before my dogs surgery. Like I said I really did not expect to buy a mattress this day. I was really impressed with this guy who sold if to me because come to find out, he had all these awards from mattress firm and his sales achievements and trophy's. the next check mark yes Was he said that he used to be a teacher. so that was close to my heart. he said since he's been working at mattress firm he's been able to make so much more money but working many more hours. But still , there wasn't a cap on his income. That made me smile remembering back when I used to manage stores and knowing how much it takes to keep that all together. I am fixing up a room in my basement to basically live in for the next two months while my dog recovers from his procedure. He's not able to go up any stairs for 6 weeks and my master is 4 stories up. So the dogs surgery was $5000 his bed frame was $500 the new fence was a lot too, the money spent was a lot to bear but i love my dog. There was no way for this guy to have known everything going on in my life before I got there but he most certainly helped me out more then he knew. I left there feeling like i accomplished the last thing on my list that I needed to do to prepare. He also shared some things with me that I thought were neat about his stores design and some funny things about his upcoming events. Weather we Want to believe it or not, a mattress is a quite personal purchase and customers sometimes want to know who they're buying from:) How did this stranger earn my trust so quickly ?? I have no idea; but he's really good at his job. He was a very positive experience and I feel honored to have bought from him. Thank you. The sectional and picture arrived when promised by very courteous delivery guys. I was pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of the items! All my friends love our living room set! Now that I am ready for a new dining room set I knew exactly where to go! Once again George was there to steer me in the right direction. He introduced me to Melissa who helped me choose the perfect dining room set at the price I wanted to pay! I can't wait to get my set and host dinner parties at my home!
