    Lots of area rugs

Not sure how they stay in business. Looking for several items to stage a home for sale, I thought this might be a good resource. Unfortunately despite the vast store size, I went home empty handed. As other reviews noted, almost everything seemed too expensive for the quality. Prices seem generally similar to Target or Walmart's non-sale prices, and a little MORE expensive than Homegoods or Marshalls/TJ Max. But lots of the merchandise looks and feels cheaper than those places. Signs said to look for clearance items, but I found virtually none, except one aisle that looked like the picked over remains of a garage sale. Not a pleasant shopping environment either. The store is kind of dark and dingy, and many aisles were in disarray or half empty. One strength is a huge selection of rugs and accent furniture for at least tolerable prices. For that you might want to check it out, or if you live near by. Otherwise I would say not worth a drive.

Garden Ridge...Now New name~ At Home has been a favorite of mine for some years. This store is huge similiar to a big warehouse with many decor pieces. You can mix&match patio furniture, or buy a area rug for any room in your home. What I love to come shop for are vases/urns/kitchen gadgets and scrubs for work. You can even find some artificial plants that look so real they have fooled me a few times. (I had to rub the leaves) :) If you enjoy putting together floral arrangements, wreaths for fall or to make a gift you will have a wide selection to choose from. The art work and wall pictures here are very reasonable they have many sizes and different kinds to fit your decor ideas! As a woman like myself who loves to decorate, stores like Home goods, Kirklands just to name a few make me excited to go to!! (Like home depot for guys) After Searching for bargains and going to the register to find its even discounted lower than the sticker price!!! Makes me a happy shopper.

You are now 'At Home', the new name for home decor superstore Garden Ridge. Headquarters are in Plano, TX. This store was founded in 1979 and began as Garden Ridge Pottery. The chain has grown to 65+ stores in over 21 states. Although the space is organized, it always feels a bit like an abandoned, but well-stocked warehouse to me with the occasional sighting of an employee or customer. The atmosphere is less than cozy, but if you're in search of anything from holiday decor, chairs, plant stands, and pottery to textiles, mirrors, wall art, lamps and more - check this place out before you drop more $$ on similar items from Pottery Barn or Pier One.

    You need this.

You need full Knights armor in your hallway? Look no further. How about a cabinet shaped like a British red telephone box? Stop here. Need scrubs for your sweet new gig at Grady? They have 'em! This place has everything, and I mean everything you don't need. I came looking for gnome ornaments and found tons of other interesting things, some of which I have documented here with my lovely photos. They have furniture, home decor, garden accessories, kitchenwares, and rows and rows of scrubs and orthopedic clogs. That really confused me. I will be back in the spring because they have a lovely selection of ceramic yard mushrooms and gnomes just calling my name.

This place is truly awesome! I feel like the location is in a bad spot because it's so hidden. I believe this store would receive way more customers if they were in a better location where they can be seen. However, you can get just about anything home related here. I went specifically shopping for comforters and they had a clearance on comforters so I came at the right time! I was also looking for bath items and the selection is not that great but I can't wait to go back for other home decor items. For a store this size, it would be great to see more representatives around for assistance. Honestly the only representative I saw was at the register, that's it.

Every time we visit, they are so helpful and nice. So much better than the "big name" pool stores. So glad we found Spartan.

The positives of this store is the selection and quality of goods they have. But in my opinion a lot of things they have are overpriced.

I came in here on Presidents' Day, hoping to score some deals since the mail provided lots of flyers were different deals from different furniture stores this so happen to be my first location and stop and I so happen to score a few deals. I was able to purchase a dining room table and a couch for a reasonable price. The deals were definitely dealing this day and I think I scored a decent deal. I wish they would've worked it down to a little bit less, but I settled and still took the furniture anyways. See below and attached for a few photos of the store and the deals that they had going on on Presidents' Day and to see what I copped.

My current sofa has suffered a complete structural collapse where the main wooden load-bearing rail has detached from the frame, causing the furniture to sink to the floor and requiring a stack of magazines to prevent a total cave-in. This is not an isolated incident of wear and tear, but a recurring manufacturing defect; this specific unit was actually a 2021 replacement for a previous unit that failed due to the exact same frame issues documented in their own technician's notes. The most concerning aspect of this experience is the company's response to a loyal, multi-year customer facing a safety hazard. When I reached out to their service department, I did not ask for a free replacement or a handout; I explicitly requested to pay for a professional repair to be done by their team. Georgia Furniture Mart flatly refused to even send a technician for a fee, stating that because the item is out of its one-year labor window, they will not service it under any circumstances. It is a significant red flag when a retailer sells large-scale furniture that fails structurally in under five years and then refuses to provide any path toward a paid repair or maintenance. For potential shoppers, please be aware that Georgia Furniture Mart's commitment to your purchase appears to end exactly at the 12-month mark, regardless of the severity of the product's failure. While they market "life-improving" furniture, my experience has been one of repeated structural defects and a total lack of corporate accountability. If you expect your furniture to last a reasonable length of time or hope for a company that stands by its craftsmanship through paid service options, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. A sofa frame should not be propped up by books in less than five years, and a reputable business should not abandon its customers when their products fail.

Approximately 60 days ago, we had a bedroom fireplace gas starter that stopped working properly. They assigned a technician. They rescheduled multiple times, claiming to have car trouble, busy schedules, etc. They finally showed up and I was very uncomfortable with the service tech. After inspecting the unit and climbing into our attic, he showed us a video of our chimney and told us the home had been improperly built by our custom builder 16 years ago. So, he told us they would need to cut into our drywall and conduct a major renovation to get the unit to work. We have had our fireplaces serviced and no one else ever told us there were major issues and fire hazards, etc so I just didn't believe his video and told my husband I was concerned the rep might have even created damage to drive up a bill. The rep later reached out to schedule a follow up and we declined service because we just didn't trust them. A month later these people put a $250 lien on our home as a service/trip charge. Who does business like this? Send us a bill. Call us, but no one with any level of integrity or customer service, puts a lien on a home just because you're angry we didn't fall for your trumped up sales pitch to conduct thousands of dollars of unnecessary work at our home. Contractors often walk into nicer homes and inflate pricing, etc because they assume homeowners will just pay for it. In more than 30 years of homeownership, we've dealt with many businesses and I agree with what other reviewers on Angi, etc said about this company, 'they have to be the worst company in Atlanta'. No one has ever placed a lien on any of our homes. Ever. We took a chance and used this firm as they were one of few listed to provide replacement parts for our fireplace. Please don't take a risk and trust these people. They have no integrity! Such a horrendous experience in every way.

Noel does the fireplace installations. Noel was rude and abrasive from the moment he entered my home. I asked him to use shoe covers upon entering my residence. Instead of just putting on the shoe covers, he asked me why he had to wear shoe covers, and proceeded to walk towards the fireplace. I stopped him again and insisted that he put on the shoe covers. He also came in without a face mask. In this age of COVID, every home service provider should wear mask. There's no need for such boorish behavior, especially since he's supposed to provide a service. But as Clark Howard would say: that's a perfect example of customer 'no service'. Noel was in my home for thirty-three minutes, he charged $250.00, made no attempts to clean, and left all of his debris(boxes, old logs, screens, etc.), in the middle of the floor. Unfortunately, I had to leave for work, so I didn't discover this dissater until I arrived back home, leaving my wife and I to clean up his mess. Whether he's an employee of North Atlanta Fireplace, or an independent contractor, he's most unprofessional, and reflects poorly on the company. Caveat emptor!
