At Home is every home decorators dream store! It is a massive warehouse that you could get lost in for hours on end. In fact when I am browsing the aisles I feel like I want to toss out everything I have in my home and start decorating from scratch! They have gorgeous throw pillows in a wide array of textures & colors, a huge selection of wall art, vases, artificial plants, candles, mirrors, bathroom accents, just to name a few items. Prices are reasonable & the quality is great! I purchased a bathroom accessory set for a great price over a year ago & it has held up better than any other set I have bought elsewhere! I initially planned to order online, but since shipping wasn't free even on orders over $100, I decided to make the 30-minute drive to the store. I figured it would also be a good opportunity to check out their other items. To my surprise, the store was massive, almost like Hobby Lobby. I was thrilled I made the trip! However, I'm giving it 4 stars because the store felt a bit disorganized--especially the Christmas ornaments, which were scattered everywhere. Also, I wasn't able to find everything I wanted, even though their website showed those items as in stock at this location. I did ask a team member for help, and while she was friendly and tried to assist, the item wasn't where she directed me. That said, their prices are very competitive, which is definitely a reason I'll be back for more home decors and other items! read more

I wanted to share my recent experience at the At Home store in San Jose because it left me feeling deeply concerned for the employees there. I stopped by because the store is closing, and like many shoppers, I thought it might be a good time to look for some deals. But honestly, the discounts were the last thing on my mind after I spent some time chatting with a few of the staff. Without naming anyone, I want to say that the employees I spoke to were some of the kindest, most genuine retail workers I've encountered. Even though they're facing the reality that the store will close and they'll be losing their jobs in September 2025, they were still polite, helpful, and professional. They kept smiling and assisting customers, even while dealing with a huge amount of stress and uncertainty about their own futures. What really bothers me is what I learned about how they're being treated by upper management ... specifically, their district manager, Frank. From what the employees shared, Frank has shown little to no empathy about the fact that his staff will soon be unemployed. There seems to be no clear communication or plan in place to help these hardworking people find other positions or support them during this difficult transition. It's painful to hear how employees are trying to hold everything together while feeling completely unsupported from the very person who should be leading and looking out for them. They deserve better than this. These are people with families, bills to pay, and lives to manage, and they're being left to wonder what will happen next while still showing up to work and doing their best every day. I've worked in retail myself, and I know how hard it can be even on a normal day .... dealing with customers, long hours, and physical exhaustion. Adding the stress of a store closure and potential job loss, without compassionate leadership, makes it so much worse. I sincerely hope that someone higher up at At Home reads this and steps in to do the right thing. The employees at the San Jose store have clearly given a lot to this company. They deserve open communication, respect, and real help figuring out their next steps. To anyone thinking of shopping at this location before it closes: please be patient and kind to the staff. They're doing their best under incredibly difficult circumstances. At Home, please take care of your people. They are the face of your brand, and right now they need your support more than ever. read more

Poor service! Product quality can be poor; check out your purchase before you leave the store. We ordered a table online and picked it up, and this worked out okay. The box was large and heavy, but with help we were able get it home. But after unpacking the white marble table, there was a pronounced coffee/wine ring on it. Called the store and asked if they would bring a replacement. They said NO, so with help from a friend, I went to the store and got the replacement. The second unit was schlepped back from the store and then brought home, but when attached to the base, it wobbled. The tabletop was poorly manufactured, and the base would not attach solidly. Again, the store would not come and replace the table. So once again, we schlepped the third tabletop back and attached it with success. Finally! My recommendation is if you buy the "Crosby St. Mariana Marble Bistro Table" from the store, check for damage, and assemble it. Don't expect the store to help with replacements. It's hard to believe that 2 out of 3 tables were shipped from the factory, probably in Asia, with obvious quality issues. read more

This store is located across the street from PayPal park and SJC. Huge parking lot with plenty of parking. I came in to check this place out since we recently purchased a new couch and wanted some new decor. This place has A LOT of stuff.... And I mean A LOT of stuff. To me, it was super overwhelming. They have never-ending aisles of throw pillows, bedding, bathroom accessories, wall art, faux florals, rugs, outdoor decor, pots, and furniture. It's a great place when you want something specific- color, shape, size etc. However, it was not for me. First off, it's too much. When you have 500 choices in a blue throw pillow, it's very hard to choose. Also, quality is eh! Things looked good from a distance, but felt pretty cheap. Oh this place has anything and everything that you need! From bathroom to decor to bedroom decor to floor mats to a huge selection of posters and canvas prints, this place is definitely the place to check out if you need ANYTHING for your home. Is it overwhelming? Yes. Are there options? TONS! Located in a shopping center with a big parking lot, I never have issues looking for parking and I know that I can go in and go right out after I find what I need. The challenging part though is to come out of there ONLY with what you need! I do love their holiday decor selection. They definitely anticipate the next two holidays ahead though it seems, at any given time, so take caution - again, it can be overwhelming! Not so sure about the quality of most of the items, but again, because these items are mass produced, that is something to keep in mind, if you are looking for something of ritzy quality. The checkout process always goes pretty fast and there are tons of registers, which makes for a quick checkout process. IMHO This place is HUGE!!!! It's a gigantic home decor store that took over the old Lowe's location. It is bright, well-organized, and I'll say it again...MASSIVE!!! If what you're looking for has anything to do with your home, you're likely to find it here. I just didn't have enough time or energy to look... You could literally spend hours here looking around. I wasn't looking for anything special, just checking the place out. I do like garden decor and they have plenty of items from whimsical statuary to colorful whirligigs and gazing balls to pottery of all shapes, colors and sizes. Price-wise, they're just "okay". This is a mega Home store with a HUGE selection and inventory on the floor! First time shopping here and was overwhelmed with the store size and selection. Prices are very reasonable. It's not top notch quality for the large furniture pieces but that would be expected. However, there is a good selection of staple pieces (e.g. accent tables, benches, dining chairs, etc...) with the inventory out on the floor so customers know what's available right away to take away and don't have to deal with delivery services if pieces can be self transported. Finally checked this place out after learning more about this warehouse decor store online. It is like if Home Goods, Michael's, Kirkland & Cost Plus were under 1 roof. This used to be my go-to Lowe's so it is gigantic. They carry everything from rugs to art, stools & outdoor furniture & decor. They only have a small selection of love seats. They have the most popular styles like beach cottage, mid-century modern, and farmhouse. What my mom and I were least impressed with was bedding. Most of the items looked like a cheap material. The quality of the items is average. Unlike Marshalls & Home Goods who carry various brands, this place only carries its own brand for most items. The only sections I saw other brands was kitchen such as OXO. If you are into those "live laugh love" signs, this is your place! They have a membership that is free where you can earn points and discounts, although I didn't see things on sale. There were a few candles on clearance, but they just opened about a month ago. It is very spacious despite the million items they have. We went on a Wednesday mid day so not busy at all. The staff were super nice and helpful and we were there 2 hours and didn't go through every aisle. I was so preoccupied I didn't take any photos so epic fail on my part. This place is HUGE. I find that it's never too busy now that the holidays have passed, but they have so much nice stuff! I'd say I prefer At Home over Ikea. I recently went in looking for some rugs, and found a few that were actually cheaper than I expected. Most staff is very sweet and helpful, but I've encountered a couple that weren't the nicest.. There are tons of cushions for lounge chairs, seats and various pillows for patios. I know we were all locked down for so long, it was great to spruce up my patio for summer. The pots I found were perfect colors for my Hawaiian themed patio. Not to mention NOT expensive like Home Depot! I was there for about an hour checking it all out. Earlier in July, I drove about an hour and a half to get to this at home store and check if there was any Halloween decor out on the floor. Once I entered I tried to find a representative to help me but they didn't had a lot of staff. I stumbled upon one, and I said "Hi! Excuse me have you... " she interrupted and just raising her voice at me said "WHAT! WHAT DO YOU WANT!" With a lot of attitude and rolling her eyes at me. I'm there standing with my 5 year old looking dumbfounded and ask her "what did you said to me?" And she goes "Hurry up! I don't have time WHAT...DO..YOU..WANT?!" So I told her "nothing anymore!" Our visit to At Home was a fun trip to browse around. The store is very big as it was the previous Lowes home improvement store location. The store was neat and organized. There was a large variety of home type items. We settled on a few items such as pots and a few other things. The check out process was pretty easy, but they did ask us to join their store program a few times. We declined, but it may be worth it if you are looking for a longer return period. When we got home we found out one of our pots leaked and we weren't expecting it because there weren't visible holes in it. I brought the item back and the return line was the same as the regular check out line. The return was easy and they needed the original credit card available to complete the return. read more

This place is like a Lowe's, home goods, and target mixed together. Some of their products are more expensive than at other home stores, but some are ALSO so much cheaper as well. I didn't come to this store to shop, I came to park my car and eat in my car but instead I got harassed by the "manger" named Orlando. He didn't to block me in so I wouldn't go anywhere, his excuse is I look suspicious. I don't know how if I'm just eating a sandwich from Subway. Called the store to let them know what their employee is doing to me. The manger comes and spoke to us. Here am I still getting harassed trying to leave back to work and he's still blocking me in. It's very easy to find things here. They have the Large Christmas ornaments which sell out everywhere for only $7.99 for 3 xl round ornaments. Buy one set get one 50% off It's more affordable than home goods with a lot more options for decor. Most discount stores have small chips or small dents or a wobbly leg etc, At home is the same. Their collection is extensive modern and classic. Starts with holiday decorations to outdoor seating and lounge sets to furniture to lamps to rugs to cups, plates, and tonnnns of accent pieces and pillows. I've been searching for chair pads for my bar stools which have flattened out over time and they had them there - in the same shape. Couldn't find them anywhere and was considering custom seat pad... now we found them for 12.99 each. Saved me 40$ each pad. Whew. Also found iridescent glass ornaments for $5.99 which were 25$ online. I came out with several items cheaper here that I've seen for more in similar discount stores- Especially organizers and glass unique ornaments You never know what you will find here. This is a one bizarre place. It is like Walmart and Dollar store had a baby which they called At Home. Huge warehouse filled with STUFF, most of each is cheap, low quality garbage that you bring home and wonder: why did I buy it?! The emptiness of this place is startling. I meant it is creepy empty - where are the people? Hardly any cars in a parking lot. My assumption was that they just recently opened this place. Nope. According to the store associate it has been open for 3 years!! What??!! Why are the hoarders not descending on this store like a locust? I accidentally stumbled on this place while searching for a specific color outdoor pillow and the internet pointed me in this direction. I decided to take a chance. Spoiler alert: it was not worth it. The ample outdoor cushions and pillows sold here are made from the material that can be used as a sand paper substitute. Seriously. Luckily the pillow I saw on the internet was not part of this priceless collection. I scooped my desired item up and headed to a cash register. And then things got strange, really strange. Upon scanning my pillow the store associate informed me that they CAN'T sell this pillow because it is discontinted. I felt like I was in a twilight zone. Say what?? I am holding an item that I found on a shelf and this item has a price tag but you can't sell it because it is discontinued? So many questions were swarming in my head.....but each and every one of them was rebutted by the group of the store associates. They stood as a united front: no, you can't buy this pillow. Ironically, I was offered to sign up for their loyalty program. It was a hard pass on my part, I couldn't see myself coming here again. The moral of this story: if you come to At Home store make sure your item is not discounted, otherwise, you are for a heartbreak lol read more

Love most products, staff will be a hit or miss. They'll make the products seem like trash because it's on sale so I start viewing it as less than and not as interested and the quality feels less. Not sure if the stuff prices as is supposed to be it, or if it's less or more. It feels like I'm at the whim of the cashiers, they ask if you want 50% off at register but don't include if it's based on being approved even if you ask the question is evaded. Idk if it's some tactic from corporate to get them to get more people to apply for a card. read more
