I wanted to check out the Homegoods in Cupertino. I think it's one of the nicest locations. It's very well organized inside and tidy. Makes easier to find things. I found these cute ceramic turtles that are hand painted in Mexico. They have an excellent selection of outdoor dishes and serving trays for the summer. Prices are good too. I bought a few rolls of wrapping paper. And decided on the teal colored turtle. Usually the check out line is very long. But I got lucky today. The line was short and I was all done in less than 5 minutes. read more

The website said the store was open. I drove all the way over to this store only to find it closed for inventory. As I ate my lunch, I noticed many people were trying to go in during this closure. I called and was told they didn't have a set time for opening, and that it would be closed until they finished. I've worked retail before and we always did inventory during closed hours. read more

Home goods has a good selection from home stuff to clothes to toy area for kids. I love going here even tho it's always very busy and sometimes there aren't enough cashiers up front. But hey what can you do. I got clothes here as well as some little goodies and knick-knacks. If you buy any food stuff here they do take EBT. Will be shopping here again soon. read more

Home Goods in Cupertino is one of the better locations: organized, great selection, and spacious enough to avoid customer traffic. Came in specifically for wall art to fill an empty, freshly painted wall space and found what I was ultimately looking for! Horrible Customer Service. Long story short: Sold me some earrings that were tampered with and no employee did their due diligence to check before selling them to me. When I went back to return them, they accused me of tampering with them. Manager refused to accept their mistake and quoted some health code as their reason why I couldn't return them. Overheard another customer complimenting the staff on how clean and organized this location was compared to the typical cluster-f of other Home Goods locations, and I agree! Employee Samuel is fantastic. He deserves all the recognition as he is super kind and goes above and beyond. Today i came in to look at the furniture as i just moved from San Jose to Campbell with nothing but a bed and two chairs LOL. Decided on a lovely and quite big grey sofa. Employees were super helpful and carting it to the check out area was a breeze. Samuel was ridiculously kind and made the entire buying process easy. I say this because I had to hire LUGG to deliver it so I had to fill out a form for them so we went back and forth a bit on that matter. I'm very happy with my purchase. Yesterday, I stood in line at the Home Goods in Cupertino for over 40 minutes to make my purchase. That is outrageous. There were 5 cashiers and they would call more more. This is not the first time this location is been like that. Don't go there if you don't have at least 90 minutes to shop and then stand in line. This is a great place , one thing I notice is stock changes at a regular rate. Good for those little (or sometimes bigger) items you need for your house On this trip picked up a couple kitchen items and bath towels. Prices are very reasonable and have to say the staff is very friendly and helpful as you need it. Parking can sometimes be an issue as other store in the area. Go early on a weekend or during the week Won't regret the trip. read more

This branch has a big parking lot, which is convenient. They just don't have a lot of matching items in stock. The decor is nice if they come in pairs, rather than at an odd number. Items are seasonal and supplies are inconsistent. Finding your item is a hit or miss. read more

It's Friday, early afternoon and the place is packed. The space between aisles is extremely difficult to maneuver a cart around, let alone a cart with a sleeping baby. I came across 3 different employees and none of them were friendly. I didn't bother asking them for help because they looked so happy to be there (note the sarcasm). I find what I'm looking for which is cookie decorating kits from Christmas so they're on clearance. I have my kids and our family is coming over for a late Christmas celebration. I get in line which is extremely long even though almost all the registers were open. The wait wasn't horrible though and I got to the front rather quickly. Being that it's January and Christmas is done with, the kits were on sale. They're cookies to decorate and hang on the tree. Definitely don't plan on letting the kids eat them (lol). Anyway, I get to the register and the woman rings up all three kits plus two ceramic serving dishes I found. The kits were $4, or so I thought, one rang up for $6.99. She suddenly went into a tangent about how they purchase from different vendors for different prices so the prices, even when they're he same exact product, won't ring up for the same price, hence the $6.99 price for the kit. At that point, I just wanted to leave. Pretty sure she could have done a price override, but I wasn't going to make a huge scene over $3. So I paid the extra $3 and to top it off, she just handed the ceramic trays to me without wrapping them or anything. I don't think I'll come back to this particular homegoods. Customer service sucked and they don't understand the meaning of UPC codes....they're universal...so identical items shouldn't vary in price especially for clearance items from a holiday that has long passed. Rant over. Please train your employees. The four I came across, the register lady included, were all very unprofessional. read more

I love the collection here. Have been here a couple of times. The garden collection is the cutest. I posted some pictures here for you to see for yourself. Prices are reasonable. I like their glass collection too. I got a tray for home. I am going to get their boho baskets for living room. I found a similar one in target for $35 and the exact same one here for $19.99. So yeah! I like it. And my secret to getting good stuff is: they have clearance items by the left hand corner of the store and you can grab super cheap stuff there. I saw an industrial lamp for $4 and vanity trays for $7 which are otherwise $12.99. There may be slight damage but for half the price ? Crazy deal man! read more

I know, random to write a review for Home Goods, but I love this store! I don't usually like going to Ross-type stores, but I like going here to look for home decor (and toys too). They always organize their items by color, which gives me inspiration and ideas for our own home. And things are pretty decently priced! I've gotten glass drink dispensers (set of 2) for 19.99, really pretty bowls for 9.99, a 3-tiered dessert platter for 24.99, etc... I just went today to look for Christmas presents and totally scored. I got a Lightning McQueen book and 3 Melissa & Doug books for only $18! Yes, the customer service isn't great but remember where you are shopping! This location is clean, pretty organized, and always well-stocked. Parking isn't too bad either. read more

Well organized with prices that are shockingly low for some really high quality goods. The main problem is that the selection is variable and can be hit and miss. Also, sometimes the goods are visibly damaged or stained. Still, if you're not looking for anything in particular, this is a good place to find items you can use to redecorate in a way that won't break the bank. Bonus: Once you get tired of looking at furniture and tchotchkes, you can wander next door through the convenient archway to TJ Maxx to look at clothes! Always has long lines and they need to do a better job of hiring and training staff. Some very slow and rude cashiers. Customers always stop in the middle of aisles (even when the rest of the store is relatively empty) to rifle through their stuff causing traffic jams and obstacles. I have been looking for a TV console for months now. There is this one certain style that I can't seem to find anywhere. My search ends here! The customer service I received was beyond what I ever imagined. Eric and another young lady helped me out. They were awesome. So, if you really want something and you want to think about it, ask a staff and they will put a HOLD on it. You have one hour! You also have a choice to have your furniture delivered for $75. There's an additional fee for each mile (so I heard). That $75 is pretty standard. You can also pick it up yourself. You have up to 4 days to do so. read more

Hi, I have gone there shopping and been a good customer. I bought a coffee kettle that boils water on the stove, that I have had for three days and a little metal thing broke, now I did not keep the receipt, and they carry that brand. This is a brand that is not that common. When I explained that I recently bought it there and would like to return it. They refused!!! Is that good customer care??? It was shocking!!!! I am very Upset that they have treated me this way and would even sell a kettle like this. Often, I have notice items in their boxes are broken and they will sell it. The staff knows me and when I also complained to them they did not back me. So ask yourself do you want to do business with someone like them??? I have found three home goods location in the Bay Area and I have to say this location was by far the most organized and clean... the others in Moraga and Dublin are really disorganized and a hazard! I found a lot of cute juniors clothes on clearance .. bamboo kitchen ware and Gymboree hats and socks for my little guy ..I was a bit disappointed that they had way more girl room decors than boys ...but they do have an awesome furniture selection... the line was super duper long but worth the wait... cashiers were friendly and helpful ... read more

most randomly awesome stuff... the first time i came in here, i was thinking it was going to be like a ross or marshalls. wrong! well, kinda wrong. it's i guess a similar concept (but for home stuff), but way better. they are fairly well organized and have so much variety. now i'll admit, some of it... weird. but mostly, i say randomly awesome. really, who doesn't need a giant brass elephant or a wooden chicken with a hidden compartment? lol i've gone in a few times, and always find something. don't ignore the stuff they have for check-out temptations... some are pretty good deals. i picked up some skullcandy earbuds that were a few dollars cheaper than a typical sale price. decent deals to be found if you haven't been... go! even if you don't need anything, it's fun to wander and check it all out :) read more

I spent close to 150$ this last weekend at the Stevens Creek HomeGoods and was really looking forward to using a piece of kids clothing (it was a set of two night dresses) for my daughter - turns out the cashier forgot to remove the magnetic security tag device and nothing buzzed when i left the store. now i have to call them, explain, find the reciept, take it back to store to get the tag or magnetic security device off. and my kid wants to wear that dress everyday and i have no time to make another run to the store on a weekday. i wish the cashier was more careful. got 5 other pieces of kids clothing - either they didnt have the security tag or he removed them but just this one was left.. its quite embarrassing and inconvenient to have this happen for no fault of mine. read more

Okay this is one impressive Home Goods! When I walked in and saw the array of the home accessories and furniture it reminded me of Z Galleries! I'm obsessed with Z Galleries, so it's an awesome thing that I can get the same look and feel in a much cheaper way. There are really great deals here at this home goods in kitchen tools, ins of accessories and even really high end looking furniture.
