This is by far my most favorite HomeGoods location. They always have the best selection of items and the store is kept extremely clean and organized. They had some Halloween items marked down. I found a few cute Halloween kitchen towels and coffee mugs. They already have all there Christmas items out. The line wasn't too long and their customer service is excellent. read more

A well-organized home store in a plaza located down from the 880 Brokaw Road exit. I was there to buy Christmas gift baskets for the family. There were a lot to choose from and a surplus of gift wrapping. I would say this store tops Marshalls and Ross as being clean and well lit to see the products on the floor. There were a lot of items to look at while waiting in line for the cashiers. Plenty of parking in the plaza. read more

Attached is my recent find at home goods. It gives me Spain vibes. Cool find! I love shopping at Home Goods, and I recently bought a throw blanket and basket from here. Usually, my experience is well, but this experience was so strange. As I was shopping, the PA system mentioned something about "Attention staff, code 42," and "cops are coming," and "cops are here". I was super confused but there was nothing else was happening. Shoppers just continued shopping, I did not see or hear any police entering, and no explanation from staff... Very weird. read more

This trip was one of the worst, and that was due to the store having absolutely no carts available. This wasn't the first time I had come here where no carts were available, but it made what should've been a comfortable experience a pretty big hassle. I know when I come here, I'll need a cart. There were no carts available at the front, but small baskets. Even shoppers came in with Ross carts, that's how difficult it was! I was extremely disappointed that even while shopping and struggling with my items, store associates just walked by. I think it would've been really helpful if they offered to help me bring items up front, but I overheard a customer interaction with an associate who attempted something and he ended up breaking the item or damaging it - offering her a discount up front, so I can't tell if that would've been the better alternative. It was also bothersome that when stocking up items, store associates used the customer carts instead of the black three tiered carts they normally use. I was struggling with my items while an associate with an empty, customer cart, walked by me which felt really off putting. I hope this location can figure this cart situation out, because it was impossible to find a cart. The reason why the trip was 2 stars instead of one was because I found the items I was looking for, and the ladies at register were extremely kind. My cashier experience made the trip well worth it, and we had lovely conversation. I appreciated how good their customer service was, but avoiding customers struggling while carrying products leaves more to be desired other areas of the store. read more

This is my very first time stepping into a HomeGoods and boy was I blown away!!! The name of the business pretty much says it all when it comes to items that are being sold here. Any and all home good items you would need is located all under one roof. Convenient and exciting because you never know what you will come across. This particular store is large in size and I can literally get lost for hours browsing each and every nook and cranny. I'm all about purchases sold at a fraction of the msrp [manufacturer suggested retail price] and enjoy the thrill of coming across items I need but didn't know I needed them. Lmao. 5/5 stars. Greetings to those who may run across my review. I'm being intentional in leaving this as I've just returned from the store and feel obligated to talk about a abhorrent experience I had when checking out. First, I had no intentions of going to this Home Goods as I was only in the area to pick up an item from Lowes. However, me being the ultimate TJ Maxx/HG lover, I couldn't resist. I found a ton of things - I purchased kitchenware, a throw rug, condiments and other knickknacks - spending well over $100, on a fluke. Here's where the drama/BS starts. Mind you, the store's about to close in a couple of hours so it's relatively empty. I'm the only person in line and there's only one cashier who I thought was checking out a customer. However, as I stand in line the customer is just on a tangent talking about her personal life... I'm hearing all her personal information and I'm standing there watching the cashier allow this person go on and on. I had to ask the cashier if there's another cashier available... she looks at me and initially did not ask for assistance. I had to say it a second time she looks at me, like she's annoyed, apologizes to this long winded customer saying - "It's OK" and allows the line to be held. The audacity and the privilege of it all because as the chatty customer sees me standing in line she provides an off hand apology but keeps on talking and the cashier ALLOWS this to happen. Long story short, another sales associate came and check me out but the rude cashier made it clear she didn't want to serve me. What really pissed me off is that when she looked up and saw that I was asking for assistance with checking out she continued her conversation. I say this all to say this, the store has some great items but this sells associate sucks and I want this to be known. So I hope the store manager which I was told name is Cindy read this and has a chitchat with this woman. The three stars is for the unprofessional associate I would gladly give the items in the store five. read more

Was looking for a reasonably priced wall clock. I came here and it feels like I'm on a scavenger hunt because everything was like arranged in such a weird order. There's a clock near the kitchen items and there's a clock where the other Barbie items were sold. The decent looking clock that I found was cost at the discount price of $49 which is hell no so after more than 30 minutes of just going around and looking highs and lows for a different clock I came out the store still looking for a clock. read more

The HomeGoods store on Brokaw Rd. was a much more pleasant shopping experience than the other location. Both are great places for lovers of home furnishing/decor hunting, but this one is better. Less people traffic, so it's more relaxing. And, it appears less cluttered and more organized, so it's easier to shop around. Their lamp section is abundant and worthwhile to check out! Also to mention, sales associates were helpful and busily working. Ample parking, too! read more

Selection was good. I brought a gift card that I wanted to use. Cashier had to ring me up twice, and when the manager came to help she gave a bogus excuse that I cannot use my gift card. So I had to run my credit to make my purchase. Very upsetting. Hopefully they can get training on how to redeem gift cards. read more

I love a HomeGoods...it's a treasure hunter's paradise...for home goods. L O C A T I O N HomeGoods is located off of Brokaw in a plaza shared by Ross, Sprouts, Ulta, and various other shops and eateries. The parking lot is also shared by all these establishments. Parking hasn't been difficult but during peak shopping days like before Christmas it was a bit chaotic even during COVID. C O V I D P R O T O C O L Home Goods, when I last went, had someone make sure they stayed at the number limit per their square footage which was great. So yes, we had to stand outside for a little bit but I do appreciate that they dedicated someone to ensure they were following regulations. There were also one way signs for each aisle, but like many places, customers don't really follow this. They also had sanitation stations at the front for hand sanitizing and cart sanitizing. Check out area is also 6ft apart for lining up and only 1-2 cashiers working and very well spaced with plastic shield blocking the customer and the cashier. I T E M S As I mentioned in many of my HomeGoods reviews, you can't really come here for specific brands, but you can have an item in mind and hope that they have something and a plus is a good brand. On this trip we found a brass floor length mirror which was something we were needing and it was by Max Studio. It wasn't perfect but for the price, it was pretty good! I've found various other items like various bathroom accessories, blankets, seasonal goods, etc. So if you have the time, and want to peruse items, then this is your place. Yes, I've also come out of here with things I don't really need, but they were cute okay? :) O V E R A L L It's not a super large space in comparison to the one in Pacific Commons, but they do have a good selection of items. I do appreciate that they follow COVID protocols as we've gone through different tiers. Whenever I feel a bit down, I sometimes head here because right next door is a Ross, so I end up going to both places cause I love a bargain and some shop therapy. read more

1/15/2021 love the experience in this store love the customer service. They have much to choose from however a super negative placing new inventory carts in front of merchandise that people have opportunity to purchase. Don't line up four carts blocking customers from shopping. Be efficient one cart at a time especially when the store is busy. It's a fire hazard also. Not sure why these things can't be done before opening and after closing. My friend was looking for particular item couldn't get to it the clerk was taking one thing at a time from the cart never offered to move them just kept putting things on other shelves no customer service. I would give the front of the store clerks five starts however there's no separate scoring. Please make room for shoppers. read more

All HomeGoods stores are not equal, and this is one of the better ones. It's newer, cleaner, and has more pet supplies, which is what I come here for. All of my family members have dogs, so come holiday season, I need to buy gifts for everyone! They have cute sweaters and rain coats for pets, and it's clean and well-organized. That's a win for me :) Bonus: this location does allow dogs. Some home goods can be hit or miss on this policy. read more

IMHO OMIGOSH, this store is so AMAZING!!! First impression is that even a few days after Christmas, this store is still beautiful, organized and completely shoppable! It made me want to walk around at my leisure, to touch, feel, and grab all of the holiday bargains! My husband was even impressed and didn't feel the need to rush out after a few minutes! This store is a GIANT LEAP above Marshall's and Ross stores, which I also like to visit for bargain shopping. The quality and selection of decor goods is far superior and more whimsical to my eye. We came looking specifically for next year's White Elephant party gifts...and we found some beautiful (and perfectly priced) goods that even I would fight over! (Truthfully, I want to keep one of the choices for myself...because it was so soft and luxurious!) I also found a perfectly-sized white appetizer plate for me as well! If I wasn't trying to downsize and purge from my own home, I'm sure I could've completely Christmas decorated my abode for next year, with all the cute (and plentiful) items still available, but now at clearance prices! Ahhh Homegoods... I want everything.. all things practical and all things useless. Mainly just random decor that I just have no need for. I can never just get "in and out" at Homegoods. If you're like me, you go in with 1 thing on your mind but then you get distracted by all of their showcased items and start browsing. I end up being there for at least 30minutes and my boyfriend gets all irritated because that wasn't the plan and then he loses me in a sea of decorative accents.. :P It's located in the same plaza as Sprouts, Ulta Beauty, Ross, and Habit Burger..all off of Brokaw Road. It's very clean, organized (well, as organized as any Homegoods can be) and all the staff I've encountered have been friendly. They have multiple registers and on weekends, when it's at its busiest, the line doesn't take forever like other Homegoods stores. But I do like to go bright and early to avoid all that calamity! I like my space and I like to think I got lucky when I find a unique piece before anyone else. Once in awhile, I hear things being knocked over or dropped and I cringe, thinking - "thank god that wasn't me." Here's what they have.. KITCHEN -tableware, glassware, serving plates/bowls, kitchen tools, pots/pans, food storage, appliances, even snacks and pasta ..ETC. BATHROOM -towels, shower curtains, bathroom rugs, make-up holders, all your bathroom basics ..ETC. HOME DECOR -this is the bulk of the store..wall art, full mirrors, area rugs, chairs, candles, frames, couch pillows, furniture, decorative accents ..ETC. BEDROOM/BEDDING -pillows, comforters, sheets/pillow cases, throws, bed pillows ..ETC. KIDS -toys, books, kids decor ..ETC. PET -food/water bowls, animal beds, food storage ..ETC. GIFTING -cards, gift bags, paper tissue, boxes ..ETC. LIGHTING -mainly table lamps ..ETC. OFFICE -random office knick knacks, stationary, desk decor ..ETC. I'm sure I've missed like 50% of all they have to offer, so you can see why I can never come here and just get 1 item. New stuff is always coming in when I stop by and I like how they arrange items and decor for each holiday season. Awesome finds, great deals! Unique home decor, at affordable prices. Before my experience at HomeGoods, I used to dread going into these hodgepodge type of stores. I found them to be super unorganized and had difficulties finding exactly what I needed as a result. The employees at HomeGoods Brokaw do an excellent job of keeping their aisles and shelves clean and orderly. Speaking of employees, I've received nothing but excellent customer service at this location. The associates on the floor are knowledgeable and highly available, so I haven't had issues trying to find a product... let alone finding someone to help me. Furthermore, the people working at the cashier are friendly, personable, and extremely efficient. The checkout queue goes quickly even during the holidays. Admittedly I've never been to a HomeGoods until this franchise location off Brokaw opened a year (or two?) ago. I can honestly say that I didn't know what I was missing. I have yet to go into HomeGoods and leave without the item I was looking for, and in most cases I go to HomeGoods to be inspired. I'll find a great gift idea there or find ways to be creative for a project around the house. I especially love the festive decorations they bring out for each holiday throughout the year. The products at HomeGoods are very affordable but may vary in quality. Rest assured that the food items are pretty good even though they're from obscure brands. I've tried chocolate truffles and cookies from HomeGoods, which I totally enjoyed. I've also gifted chocolates from these lesser-known brands, and the recipients were very satisfied with them. read more

This place is a gold mine for all things home related. I came in here to furnish my new digs and found a BOUNTY of things that I needed. Their furniture is admittedly hit or miss...literally some items are broken and look like they've been hit. But then you walk in on a random day and boom, they have your dream chair for $199 which no one else will ever have because you cannot shop online [WHAT?!?]. You have to do some serious searching but you can find some of the best deals, it is fantastic! They have the essentials for every holiday. They have pillows a plenty. Their rugs are at the ready. Their art has such a wide range you could find something for any age or style. Additionally their staff was super helpful! I'll be back for more art! read more

I am addicted to HomeGoods. I love these stores, I never know what treasures I might discover. This review is for tHe HomeGoods on Brokaw Road in San José. The store is very spacious snd well organized. The young woman at the door should not be at the door or employed even: she does not greet you when you come in or say good bye thank you when you leave. She is glued to her phone. What a shame. The cashier is very courteous and friendly and polite. The soap selection here is awesome!! But the people who come here are not at their best behavior. They twisted open the bottle to smell the scent. I lifted one bottle and I dropped it because the lid was not securely attached. Then I bought some other bottles, and when I got home, one bottle was leaking over my car. Note to myself: next time, remember to make sure all soap bottles are securely twisted closed. Great selection of houseware too. But despite these little incidents, HomeGoods remain one of my favorite store, no matter the location. read more

This is a really really nice HomeGoods! I've been to this HomeGoods quite a few times, when I'm also down in the area to visit Hmart, and I've been pleasantly surprised every time. My usual HomeGoods is the location at Pacific Commons, but the bad parking and super slow lines make that location a bad experience. In contrast, this HomeGoods has a huge, diverse selection, and the last time I was here -- midday on a Sunday -- the lines were very light. Bottom line: You'll find what you're looking for at this HomeGoods (probably!) and you won't have to wait in a huge line to checkout. That's why this is my favorite HomeGoods in the area! read more

My experience at the HomeGoods on Brokaw Road was nothing short of infuriating. While shopping with friends, I accidentally left my $70 Erewhon water bottle behind, a mistake I admit was mine, but one I took immediate action to correct. About 10-15 minutes after leaving the store, I called to report it. A man on the phone assured me that my water bottle would be kept safe for me to pick up the next day. The following day, I sent a friend to retrieve it, only to be told repeatedly by the staff that there was no water bottle in sight. This was confusing and frustrating, so I called again later that evening to verify. This time, a woman on the phone asked me to describe the bottle, and after I did, she told me they did, in fact, have it. This conflicting information was the last straw, and I decided to go to the store myself. The next day, I stood in line to personally speak to an employee. When I asked about my water bottle, the girl who assisted me made an effort to "search" for it, clearly not even trying. Things took a bizarre turn when an older employee, blue-eyed with short blonde hair in a pixie cut, overheard our conversation. Without saying much, she suspiciously slipped on black gloves and rummaged through a random trash bin for a mere 10 seconds, as if this was some sort of resolution.To make matters worse, the first employee suddenly said, "There's a Twisted Tea here!" Which is an alcoholic beverage that was obviously irrelevant to my problem. Then, to my utter disbelief, the old woman casually informed me that my water bottle had been thrown away the night before. She said she threw it away herself. While I understand it was my mistake leaving the bottle behind, I did everything within my power to recover it, including promptly reporting it, calling multiple times, and showing up in person. The staff's lack of accountability, professionalism, and basic courtesy was appalling. Not once did anyone offer me an apology or take responsibility for their blatant mishandling of my bottle. This entire experience was beyond upsetting, and I will seriously reconsider shopping at this location again. HomeGoods should take a hard look at their customer service practices because this was an absolute disgrace. read more

Honestly like all other home goods, you'll sometimes have to search to find some gems. During covid-19 I appreciate all the precautions they've taken and put in place, cleaning carts constantly and opening aisles. As a result, keep in mind that there are fewer items to keep the store more open, last time I went every other shelf had items, less shelves means less products. The center of the store is wide open to allow social distancing. It was strange that the last time I visited 2 employees were arguing with each other so that was slightly uncomfortable. My favorite HomeGoods store! They have so much stock it is literally falling off the shelves. It is a mess to go through and I would not be surprised if someone is buried under a pile of as seen on tv products... I love it, because I always find tons of great things that I want at prices lower than anywhere else. Unfortunately makes it easy to blow your budget and stuff your house with junk. I came here for their grand opening and they gave out free bags! Woot. This Home Goods doesn't have as much art as the one off of Santa Teresa. This place is awesome for house decor like pillows, plates, vases or small pieces of furniture. I love their candle selection and their affordable prices. They also have great holiday themed decor items for every major holiday. Outside of house decor, they sell random snacks like veggie straws and gummies and a bunch of cool pet stuff (dog toys, clothes, beds). I don't know a better place to get home decor for better prices. read more
