I was looking for a sofa that was comfortable enough to relax on post surgery, and though I doubted that I would be able to get it in time, I worked with a wonderful woman named Margaret.. She helped me find just the right sofa (we bought 2); she even came to the house to help choose fabric, and worked with the owner, who called the factory, in hopes of getting them here in a completely ridiculous timeframe. And they were delivered a day early. It was a great experience from start to finish. The sofas are just right. And the experience with Margaret and with the store makes them feel even better! read more

Least friendly Harvest I've ever visited. Two ladies sitting behind counter and completely empty store. Both looked up, looked at us and went on ignoring us. No hello, no how can we help, no nothing but a quick glance up and down then pretended we didn't exist. Very strange and very surprised by the poor service as we bought much of the furniture from this specific Harvest and have usually had great service in the past. I always love the ambience of the store set-up and we had been thinking for a long time to treat ourselves to a custom-made sofa from here. The main reason for the low rating, is that I don't feel like the ladies here really know their fabrics that well, and I am no fabric expert and definitely need guidance when I'm buying sofas! I asked for something that a microfiber fabric that was easy to clean, and our sofa is NOT easy to clean at all. Even water stains set in, and light stains are not easy to wipe off. We had bought a much cheaper sofa from Ana furniture, thinking our Harvest sofa would be the more luxurious one, but Ana did a better job helping us find the right fabric and THAT sofa is insanely easy to clean off. The sofa itself is fine, but unless you really know your fabrics, I wouldn't trust their recommendations. read more

Wow....modestly priced, good quality, on trend furniture and accessories!! Both sis and DD found pieces they fell in love with.... Sis was looking for a new dining room table and sideboard/hutch for her soon-to-be new home. She found a beautiful trestle table with 2 leaves in a medium/dark finish. Gorgeous!! And her exiting chairs would work....now that is a good thing. DD fell in love with a sumptuous couch. We all three sat on it, viewing sis's find. Very cozy!! The woman on the floor helped us see how the table looked in all of it's lengths. Super accommodating. She printed out information for both women to take with. This is an absolute gem of a store. We visited Los Gatos to shop for a new sectional at a nearby, well-known furniture shop, when a sofa in Harvest's window caught our eye. Shawn helped us design and customize the perfect sectional for our family room, which we have now been enjoying for several months. The quality is excellent, and my standards are pretty high. Best part, it was built in California so was ready in five weeks. I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for a sharp, attractive new piece for their home. read more

Hi all future furniture seekers. This store is great! Let me explain a few things. Pretty much the design staff are women. They are product familiar and knowledgeable . If they are not they WILL find out for you . When you purchase a piece to pick up from the store, they will explain to you , you NEED to bring help. You need to bring your OWN packing items. Being only women , it is difficult to move a huge sideboard and or heavy items. This includes big pictures, mirrors or an 8x10 carpet. Also when purchasing a special order (ie sectional, dining etc) you are informed it is half down and remainder upon delivery. Harvest subcontracts a delivery company. Set rates. They cannot schedule a delivery at POS but will note any future delivery date and request ( though not guarantee ) a date of delivery . Usually being able to do that date The staff is friendly and generally very helpful. I realize in sales we all expect staff to "be on game", but come on. We are all human . Ask questions! Great stuff!! So go in and check it out!! read more

This is a waaay overdue review (3+ years later!), but I had to comment on how much my husband and I still LOVE our sectional from Harvest! I was thrilled I came across Harvest before our big move...I happened to walk in one day, was greeted by the friendly staff, then zoned in on a beautiful (Jordan) sectional! Coming from a semi-designers background, I was even more ecstatic to find that you could completely customize your sofas/sectionals...and so I did! What I loved most about Harvest is that I wasn't bombarded by the designers like you usually are in these types of stores, they gave me plenty of space and time to make all my final detail decisions, and were incredibly kind and informative when I needed assistance at purchase! The delivery was wonderful and timely, and to this day, it is still my favorite in-home purchase! My husband and I love our sectional and only wish we had a Harvest in the new town we moved to! read more

I also visited the store after my interaction, and was treated with so much graciousness and care that I wanted to update here. I truly appreciate how much thoughtfulness and effort was put into making sure I had a great follow up experience with the staff, that now I'm nervous they won't be able to get rid of me! :) The selection is also beyond anything I'm looking for, and is nothing short of beautiful. I walked into harvest today to browse on a Friday afternoon. I have purchased a sectional from them and a few other things previously. Today though, 3 employees all not busy , not one of them said hello. I was the only one in the store. What a turn off. I left and didn't care to buy anything although I was planning on getting some decor stuff. I didn't feel they deserved my business today. I left and went to restoration hardware a few doors down. I was greeted by 2 warm employees. And guess what, I bought stuff from them instead. Get it together harvest folks. You are in Los Gatos and your lack of service is sad. read more

I purchased a lovely piece of furniture that required delivery which the store offers. I paid for the delivery when I paid for the furniture, yet the sales team there said they could not schedule it. They did not even give me the contact information so I could call and schedule the delivery. After two days of calling the store and waiting in limbo for my piece, I contacted the store and demanded the phone number for the delivery service. I called Marco at SR delivery service and he did not even have me scheduled. Too bad that a nice store cannot offer full quality service of delivery that you pay for. I will not be buying anything else from here again. read more

We ordered a chair from Harvest in October of 2021. The delivery estimate was 6 months. Well, 6 months came and went with no chair and no proactive update from the store. I spoke with the owner who then said the chair would come in 3-4 weeks from the time he and I spoke. Four weeks passed...no chair and no further update from the owner. I then spoke to one of the salespeople at the store and they said the chair would be in 1.5 weeks from the time we spoke. Well, 2.5 weeks later....no chair and no proactive update from the store. I get that the pandemic is part of the problem. However, it's completely unacceptable for the store, and owner no less, to commit to and then miss 3 separate deliver dates. Further, there was no communication from anyone. I had to call each time to get an update, only to be given another soon-to-be-missed commitment. Had I not called, I am certain that nobody would have reached out to me a full 8 months after placing the order. This is not how high-end stores should treat their customers. We're done with Harvest. read more

Nice products but the snotty attitude is a total dealbreaker for me. My parents recently bought a ton of items there and had a great experience, so we went there when looking for a new rug. Not one salesperson even glanced my way when I was lingering up front to ask a question. Finally went up to a clearly inconvenienced salesperson and asked the price and size of a rug and her response was "I don't know the answer to either question, you can pick up the rug and get that answer yourself", didn't even attempt to help. Would be an easy task if there wasn't furniture on every single corner that I needed to move. I'll be sticking with pottery barn, same quality but much better customer service. read more

I'm surprised this place doesn't have more reviews! I'm a big fan of Harvest. My husband and I purchased our dining room table as well as several large art pieces, decorative items and pillows from here. They always seem to have some sort of sale going. We scored our dining room table at a 50% floor model sale (which they seem to have going on a lot). We also take advantage of their "we pay the sales tax" deal that they have going on every April. Unlike their neighbor, Restoration Hardware who won't give me or my husband the time of day because we are younger (late twenties), Harvest always greets us and makes us feel like a valued customer. We are happy to spend our money here! *There is an older blonde lady that is a little judgmental, but everyone else is awesome so just avoid her if you can.* All in all, a solid 5 stars for Harvest! read more

What a wonderful experience I had at Harvest today! I walked in and my daughter saw a painting that was exactly what we were looking for in our home. However it was VERY BIG! Tim showed me the other paintings by the same company around the store and none of them really worked. So he was willing to turn the big painting horizontally in the display area so I could see if it would work that way. Still not perfect. Then he said that he had some downstairs and would check...he brought two up that were the perfect shape and size! But I didn't LOVE either of them. So he said he'd go look one more time and he found the perfect one! I asked if I could return it if it didn't work in my house. But they only give store credits but he went on to suggest that I take it "on approval" to see if it worked. The perfect solution! We did all the paperwork and I pulled the car around for him to load it. Guess what....It didn't fit in my SUV. We went back inside and we were going to measure it to see if it would fit in my husband's car. But then Tim saw the store owner and asked him if he'd follow me home, with the painting in his truck!! I was blown away by the customer service and the help! And The best part is that it looks beautiful in my home so they made the sale! Can't wait to shop there again, very soon! read more

They do not back up their products. I bought a few pieces of furniture and most have turned out fine. I also bought a couch and loveseat. After just a few months the center section of the couch basically gave way. The springs or whatever in the center do no hold any weight and you just sink deep into the couch. I have brought this to the attention of the store, several times. I actually walked in and talked to the sales people. So how did they handle it - they didn't. Left my number and sent pictures. Not a single call. Nothing. Clearly, the couch was defective and so is the customer service. read more

She was very nice, not pretentious and gave suggestions without being too pushy. It's a nice store with a wide variety of items but terrible customer service. We found a bronze edged mirror and wanted it. Unfortunately so did another customer. The clerk was nice and found it at another store and had it transferred. My wife picked it up and brought it home, when we unwrapped it we noticed it was gold plated. Completely different colors. I went to return and the another clerk said I was wrong and there were not other colors of the mirrors. I hadn't even taken it out of the bag and unwrapped it. The lady magically new which mirror it was that I was wrong. She refused to allow me to return it and only offered store credit. She continued be extremely rude and tell me that I was wrong and pointed out and said the store policy was visible on the counter and no returns. Glad to have store credit to a place I don't want to return to. It's amazing how rude she was and poor customer service skills. If you decide to have items transferred from another store I wouldn't put money down first. read more

Just purchased sectional, and it's fantastic. I did spend quite a bit of time deciding on down fill, fabric, layout, style and layout, but in the end, I got a wonderfully comfortable and beautiful couch. Everyone loves sitting on it, and it looks great. Staff was very helpful and didn't tire of me going in repeatedly, borrowing endless amounts of samples, asking tons of questions, and trying to make up my mind. They definitely do not back up their product and customer service was extremely poor. We purchased a large sectional sofa from here and when it arrived it felt as if the cushions were old. After much back and forth with the sales associate Shawn she agreed to come out to the house to check it out. After sitting on the cushions she agreed that they felt "used". She said she would get in touch with the manufacturer and get us replacement cushions as well as new covers. Months later after repeated texts to her on where the cushions were she sent me a text asking how I would like to pay for the upgrade in cushions! When the replacements finally did come in and we went to pick them up she stated that she did not receive any replacement covers. She said she would follow up but as of now i have not heard anything more from her and that was at the beginning of the year (6 Months ago)!! For the cost of the sofa and custom ottoman I would have expected much better quality and as for customer service this was the worst service I have ever experienced. We bought a custom sectional couch from Harvest and it was $$$, but it was so beautiful and cozy I thought it was well wroth it until a year latter. The fabric is loose, the cushions are lumpy and the seams are crooked. It does not look like a 12 month old sofa and we take very good care of it. When I called them to report the problem, the person that took my call said they haven't had any problems with their couches and that she had the same exact couch for years and it looks like new! Ok that's not true, read some of these reviews. Also, that's great that her couch was made right, mine wasn't and for the $$$ I paid for it, it should look great for many years to come!! For a high end store that supposedly sells quality products they do not stand behind their brand. I have bought furniture, including couches from Macy's for years. I had an issue with a very expensive mattress, it just wasn't comfortable. I had it for 6 or 7 months and I did not have any type of warranty. I call the Macy's store I bought it from just to let them know. They looked up my account and said "I see you've been a customer a long time, come down and pick out another mattress. When we deliver your new one, we'll pick up the old one and return it". This was done in a week, with no cost and no questions asked! That is standing behine your product and good customer service. I would expect that same type service and product backing from a store like Harvest, especially given the price I paid and the sales pitch I was given about the top quality of their furniture! read more

I had the best service here I have ever had anywhere. All the sales people were nice but it was Judy who spent so much time with me helping me get exactly what I wanted. She was so patient with me and helped me chose a fabric, get the type of cushions I wanted and even had the height of the sofa altered for our needs. I think for the quality and the custom order options that the price was quite reasonable. I had shopped around quite a bit and had even had the help of a designer. I was really beginning to think furniture shopping was a daunting chore until I went to Harvest. My daughter had shopped there first and bought several pieces she was happy with. read more
