We picked up the shuttle at Sunset Transit Center early Saturday morning. Mitch, our driver was super welcoming and kind. We saw alot of him during the day too. For 5 hours we bopped on and off the bus to 5 different wineries throughout the Dundee area. Mitch collected our purchases and returned them on our way back to Portland. So nice not to carry bottles with us all day. Every 20 minutes or so a bus would appear. We were never in a rush, nor did we ever wait very long. We visited wineries I've never heard of before and they were AMAZING. How would I have ever known about them otherwise?!? White Rose was our favorite. Such a cool space and amazing Pinots. I'll never not use NW Wine Shuttle to visit wineries again. Great service, frequent pick ups and good cost point!

The poor staff serving the wine tastings were frazzled from being pulled in multiple directions. We had to wait a long time before being served and longer in between pours. I would suggest that next time you host an event like that you close earlier or shut down for the day. It was not a pleasant experience for customers and it appeared the wedding party arrived early too and they would have had more space to relax and enjoy their special day if there were no customers around. But again... I usually have an excellent experience! Wine selection is amazing!! The staff are so knowledgeable and friendly. And the setting and ambience amazing! They have fun events throughout the year. You must go Halloween weekend and get a Taro reading! We had so much fun last year. And they have great deals on wines. I suggest going just not on a day they are closing early for an event.

At that time Stephan just saved all our info in case we were able to come later (so happy that we were). He didn't charge us anything at that time even though I'm sure he'd done work arranging things. Stephan organized our trip, picking fantastic wineries for us to go to based on our preferences (we only picked one of the 8 and it was the only one we didn't buy wine at...should have let him pick them all!) and two great lunch spots. Ian drove us around in a luxe black sedan. Both were fantastic to work with and very responsive. We had to change hotels at the last minute (days before) due to an outbreak closing the first hotel and they didn't miss a beat working around that. Ian gave us great suggestions for places to eat dinner and things to do on our day off. He also drove us to a convenient store at the end of the day when one of us needed some medicine, and helped us load all the wine into the car and then carry it into the hotel. He was COVID safe and wore a mask the entire time even though all three of us were vaccinated (and bonus points that he was vaccinated). Side note that everyone we interacted with at wineries were also vaccinated if people are looking for a safe COVID experience. 10/10 would use them again.

The outside looked really small, and we were confused, it looked like there was a small building across the lot. But we saw a sign that said wine tasting, so we went inside. It was cute, but nothing like other tasting rooms I've been to. There weren't many people inside, but all the tables had reserved signs on it. Those were there so people wouldn't just sit willy nilly. My one friend said he was Willy, and my other friend said she was Nilly, so perfect. They don't have sweeter wines here, I had a couple tastes of wine that I was told was on the sweeter side, but not to my preference. At the 4th pour she was required to do the membership spiel. We were in conversation with one another, so was hard to pay attention to the spiel. But we were told that if we wanted a tour, they would take us on one. Turns out this place is awesome! Ludo was a great tour guide! There's 5 tasting rooms, one nicer than the previous one! I don't remember all the names, but we went in all 5. One was the Gallery, Firehouse, the Library. You can reserve the spaces for your events. I could see the wheels in my friend's head turning. Next thing I know, she's signing up for a membership. Afterwards, we sat in the beautiful outdoor space and enjoyed a couple more tastings. Well I asked for a diet Coke and never got it. But that's ok, I didn't need it anyways. The wineries she chose all had a different flair and had unique stories. As we are not knowledgeable about Pinot Noir, Helen was a wealth of information. Not only did we learn about Pinot Noir but she also gave me some baking tips. She had prepared our lunch and the cookies she made were fantastic! (She has a background in the restaurant business.) Our tour was in July and, of course, the wine would not be shipped by Cellar Door or the winery until October. Both shipments arrived promptly in October as promised! We highly recommend Cellar Door Wine Tours. Oh, and our wines seem even more delicious at home.
